We’re sorry to hear this guest did not enjoy their stay. However, it’s important to clarify a few key facts. The listing was accurately represented on VRBO and confirmed by their support team—it is a luxury studio with an open floor plan, featuring one king bed and one queen pullout couch. The guest appeared upset that her sons had to sleep on the queen couch in the same room, but this setup was clearly outlined in the listing. What’s most concerning is that the guest, without notifying us or obtaining permission, unlawfully entered another separate vacation unit on the property and slept there overnight. This unit was not part of their reservation and could have been occupied by other guests, creating a dangerous and inappropriate situation. We only discovered this breach the next day through our cleaning team and my mother. The guest never disclosed this serious violation to us. Had the guest needed more space or privacy, the entire property was available to rent. Instead, they booked a single-unit studio and then took unauthorized access to a second unit. We strive to provide honest listings and safe, respectful stays for all guests and neighbors. This experience fell far outside of acceptable guest behavior.
