Es la parte más soleada de la isla con la menor cantidad de precipitaciones. El Waikoloa Beach Resort se encuentra a 25 millas de Kona y 18 millas al norte del aeropuerto. Plenty of everything that we would need, and then some! The beds were comfortable, the rooms were large and air conditioned, and the complex very clean and tidy. Very well maintained and quiet. A close walk to plenty of shops and restaurants, Lava Lava Beach Club a favorite. I would stay in this villa again in a heartbeat.

The best was the patio bbq set up that was what sold us!!! No communal bbq gotta wait to use it BUT our very own one with sink and dining table WOW WOW WOW. I was hoping the pic was correct and it was! Both of us were happy as the wife loved the bathtub shower option and well I like my own bbq on the patio WE WILL DEFINITELY COME BACK 💯🤙🏾

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We've stayed in the Waikoloa Beach area multiple times in the past, but this was our first time at the Waikoloa Beach Villas. To be fair, the complex is not on the beach, but is a 10-12 minute walk away. Check-in / check-out were seamlessly easy via the management company's mobile app. The unit and garage space were very well equipped for all of our vacation needs. For full disclosure, I would like to point out a few minor issues/observations during our stay: 1) after our first night in the unit, we were awoken to the sweet sounds of chainsaws at 5:30am across the way at the King's Shops as work crews were trimming trees in the area (I guess it makes sense, given how hot/humid it gets during the day, so maintenance creaws have to get their jobs done before then. And, if you walk through the WB complex, you'll notice it takes an 'army' to maintain the vision of 'manufactured Hawaii' all around you), 2) the bed in the master bedroom was big, but severely sagging on each side (think inverted 'V'). The severity of the sag on either side was quite comical, but navigable. And 3) there is no door to separate the master bathroom from the master bedroom. So, if your partner uses the bathroom in the middle of the night (separate water closet with a door), then goes to wash their hands, unless they have night vision, they will need to turn on the bathroom light, flooding the bedroom with light in the process. Again, these were very minor issues that did not diminish our stay one bit. If we were to visit the Big Island, we would not hesitate to ask for this unit/complex again.

Family and friends

Convenient to shops and restaurant. Nice to have both third floor with our friends. Nice to have all the amenities both inside the house and in the garage. Nice to have a garage to park our car. Michelle was great to work out any issues that we had during our stay. A few constructive feedback: the elevator was a little scary and made strange noises that made us uncomfortable to use. We did miss having music at the pool. We were asked to turn off the music when no one was there, even though we were playing soft music. Overall a very nice place to stay but we wish it was closer to the beach. We are use to Resort stay and missed having easy access to the beach.

Home away from home

This condo is in a great location in a beautiful resort. It is very well cared-for and was very much a home away from home. We enjoyed our stay immensely and highly recommend it for couples or families who want to stay in Waikoloa Resort.

A Good Overall Experience.

The property manager Michelle was wonderful, very responsive, very professional, for her, a 5 - star rating. All of the mattresses definitely required an update. And there were still trash in the trash bin in the master bathroom under the sink by the door which the cleaning staff might have forgotten to take out. The property is a bit far from the places we wanted to check out but that is my fault for not doing enough research before booking.

Great location and nicely upgraded

Overall we had a great stay. Right next to the Queens and Kings (literally across the street). Nice surprise was the elevator up to the 3rd floor. Very helpful after twisting my ankle pretty badly while hiking. The master bed was comfortable and the apartment overall is very nicely upgraded. 1 unwanted surprise was the thermostat is restricted to a low of 72 degrees. We are used to a much cooler nighttime bedroom temperature. If i had known up front I would have brought a mini fan. The pillows are a little flat for a big guy like me, but I just combined some from the guest room and all was well.

Beautiful condo, great location.

The beaches in Waikola are beautiful! You couldn’t ask for a more beautifully decorated unit that is very homey and comfortable to stay in. Everything you need is here including beach chairs, noodles, and umbrellas.

Welcoming upon entry! Nicely decorated villa, great location across from Kings and Queen Shops. Gourmet market and Starbies a very short walk! Very quiet complex. Garage was complete with chairs and umbrellas, boogie boards, ice chest for the beach. Being its on the 3rd floor there is an elevator. Kitchen is very well stocked with everything you would need to cook. Grill on the lanai is a plus also! Michelle was very quick to answer any questions we had throughout the stay. Much needed get away.

Great location

Enjoyed this condo and location. Easy to get groceries, etc. from Kings and Queens shopping centers. The condo was well stocked with everything you need. Found all beds need new mattresses - all very soft and bothered our backs. Couch in living room needs to be replaced. Chairs on lanai hard and uncomfortable. Would be nice to have a lower table and more comfortable chairs, same goes for the dining set. Instructions to use tv would be helpful - we had a hard time figuring out when we wanted to watch a basketball game. Very quiet - great to have bbq on lanai.

Beautiful well appointed condo with everything you need!

The Condo was up on the 3rd floor so we got great exercise going up and down (no elevators) but the 3rd floor had nice views over the property from the lanai. We used the great gas BBQ that was on the lanai a few times and ate out there as well, which was wonderful :). The bed was comfortable as were the pillows so we slept well and the bathroom was spacious, clean and had all the basics for our needs! The location was great as well and we could walk to many places including 2 different beautiful beaches, a few restaurants and some shopping. There was one short hiking trail too, right behind the complex that took us over the "Kings Highway" over old lava flow. The pool was lovely and there was a hot tub too but we did not use it as other people were using it at the time. We would totally stay here again! Really a beautiful condo!
