This charming 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom duplex is thoughtfully designed for comfort and convenience. Whip up delicious meals in the fully equipped kitchen, then unwind in the inviting living room with a TV for cozy evenings in. Both bedrooms feature plush queen beds, ensuring restful nights. Step outside to your private, fully fenced backyard—perfect for relaxing or hosting outdoor gatherings. Just a short drive to the beach, this duplex is an ideal spot for a peaceful getaway!
In general, getting around in Jacksonville requires a ride. The immediate area around the flat has some great restaurants and shops within walking distance, but there are great little pockets of walkable shopping and nightlife that can be reached with a 5-minute Uber ride or a drive.
We are pet friendly and charge $25 per night per pet for short term stays. For longer stays, we charge $150 per week and $300 per month per pet. If you plan to bring a pet when booking with us, please inform us in advance. The fee for pets is non-negotiable for any animal. Please note the pet rules below:
Pet Rules - Pets are not allowed on furniture, beds, or in bedrooms. - Pets must not be left alone in the home unless securely crated. - Guests must clean up after their pets and remove any excessive pet hair to the best of their ability before check-out. - Please ensure pets’ paws are clean before entering the house - Do not use household towels, linens, or bedding for pets. - Excessive barking or noise that disturbs neighbors is not permitted.
(Note that any pet-related damage, including chewing, scratching, stains, or extra cleaning, will result in an additional charge.)
*If you neglect to inform us ahead of time that you are bringing a pet with you than we reserve the right to either TERMINATE your stay early or charge an additional $100 on top of the original pet fee.
The following additional charges apply to late check outs/early arrivals, assuming we can offer this at all (I often can’t so please never assume this will be allowed):
1 hr or less early arrival or late departure: $25 1-2 hr early arrival/late departure: $50 2-3 hr early arrival/late departure: $75 3+ hr early arrival/late departure: $100 or the cost of an additional night’s stay, whichever is more
These fees are primarily in place to highly discourage late checkouts/early arrivals since this causes my cleaning service undue stress to prep the unit prior to your or the next set of guest’s arrival. This also increases the need for them to rush/cut corners, increasing the likelihood of them not cleaning the unit to the high standard which I hold them to.

We have a smart thermostat in this home and do limit temperatures to the following ranges to reduce our environmental impact: Summer - 70 to 85 degrees F Winter - 60 to 75 degrees F
● No garage access. ● You must be 21 years of age or older to book a reservation, and an individual who is 21 years of age or older must be present throughout the duration of the reservation. ● Please no eating or drinking in the bedrooms (closed water bottles are an exception). Additional cleaning fees to remove food/drink stains will apply. ● Pick up all trash before departing. Place all garbage in an outside trash can. ● Please wash all dishes. If the dishwasher was used, please run and unload the dishwasher prior to departure. ● Do not overload the washer/dryer. Do not wash sandy beach items or towels in the units. Empty the dryer lint trap after EVERY USE. Additional fees will apply if units are damaged due to improper use. ● The storage room is to remain closed at all times. ● Consumables such as condiments or snacks may be left behind by previous guests if they are not empty. We try our very best to ensure that it is not expired or stale. HOWEVER, ultimately, it is up to the guests’ discretion and inspection to consume these items if they wish. The host does not take any responsibility for the consumables. ● Please do not rearrange the furniture. ● Events/parties are strictly prohibited and will result in a $1000 fine. A party / event is in effect any time the guest count exceeds either the maximum allowable on the property or the number of guests booked. ● If guests are found to have had a party without host permission which results in additional cleaning or maintenance required, guests will be responsible for additional cleaning charges. In the unfortunate event that neighbors are disturbed, GUESTS WILL BE ASKED TO VACATE THE PROPERTY IMMEDIATELY. ● NO ILLEGAL ACTIVITY OR GUESTS WILL BE ASKED TO VACATE THE PROPERTY IMMEDIATELY
***Finally, smoking is strictly forbidden anywhere on the property - inside the property or in any outdoor areas*** ***If we find cigar/cigarette butts of any kind on the property or evidence of smoking (ash on flat surfaces, empty cigarette packs, etc.) we will assess a $250 cleaning fee in addition to the regular cleaning fee***

The check in was very easy. The communication was excellent. When I reported some minor problems. Someone came right over to assist. The house was clean and in a good neighborhood. To get to the beach you had to cross a busy road, but it was a quick drive. It was an easy walk to a great breakfast place. I would definitely stay there again.

The interior of had the smell of Marijuana mixed with air freshener. I had to clean everything prior to me and my daughter settling in. The bathroom appeared as it was not cleaned, scum buildup around bottom of toilet bowl. The shower had scum and build up as well, shower curtain with soap scrum build up. The air vets were brown with dirt and suck. The patio furniture that was advertised in pictures were piled up in a dump area in backyard. The coded lock pad didn't work properly. The refrigerator wasn't working on freezer, had to move drinks between the two so they could chill but not freeze. Location to beach was really the only positive. I remained in the home as I arrived around 10p and didn't want to try to find another place or be out of funds. I ended up leaving a day earlier.
