Ton of fun and perfect location!

My buddies and I came and stayed for lobster mini season and this was the perfect stay! Great amenities, awesome patio, right next to duval, and plenty of sleeping arrangements. Would definitely stay again!

Family getaway

This condo was the perfect size for our family if 5. The location was amazing, as we were able to walk to everything we wanted to do. We had an amazing vacation! Colorful Cocktail and Key West did not disappoint!!

Excellent Location & amenities

This condo is perfectly situated in the Truman District enabling 5-10 walks to all popular tourist destinations and dining in Old Town. Air conditioned and private back porch and well stocked kitchen. Well maintained although some updates were incongruous in theme. Comfortable for 4 people. Would absolutely stay here again.

Awesome Location

The property we booked was gorgeous but there was unplanned roof work occurring. Due to that, we were offered the chance to move from Shipyard to Foundry, which was equally beautiful but with a smaller pool. We were allowed access to the original pool area however. Overalla beautiful community in an amazing location! i.

Reviewer Comments: I very much liked both the location and the apartment. My one complaint is that the bedroom with twin beds is very, very small. A chair to put on shoes would be good. The TV isn't necessary in such a small space. The two beds were very hard and uncomfortable.

Colorful Cocktail

Property was still being cleaned when we arrived at the airport so Compass Realty let us store our luggage until our 4:00 check in time. The condo unit was well stocked, clean and spacious for a family of five. Parking directly in front of the unit was a big plus compared to their units we’ve stayed in at the Truman Annex. Just one block from the Green Parrot, our favorite bar, and two blocks from Duval. Very close to the Waterfront Park is excellent for sunset view. We liked it so much, we already booked the same unit for two trips next year.

The four of us(some non related), had plenty of room, utilizing the bedrooms and the den futon. Beautifully accented with artwork and all necessary appliances, beach towels, etc. Perfectly located, only a block and a half from our favorite nightspot (Green Parrot). We would definitely stay here again. Only caveat is that management property not open on Saturday, the most popular rental day

Good Place to Stay

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Colorful Cocktail is a delightful place to stay. The place has enough room for four people to stay there comfortably. The condo has a lot of character with the artwork, deck and balcony just off of the smaller upstairs bedroom. The deck in the back was my father's favorite part of the house. The location is perfect too. If you want to hit Duval Street, it's two blocks away. If you want to hit a great bar that's off Duval, the Green Parrot is just a short block away. Maybe Mallory Square is too rowdy for your sunset watching needs? That's cool, the water front park scratches that itch with a more mellow mood.While I enjoyed my stay, I do have a couple of criticisms about the place. We had an ant problem in the kitchen upon arrival. I noticed it the night we got in. You may ask: Why would you use the kitchen? You're in Key West! My father has a medical condition and he requires a special diet, so we used the kitchen a little more than the average person. I did report it Compass Realty, they said exterminator services would be stopping by. Unfortunately we didn't see any evidence of it. We just kept the kitchen area meticulous and it seemed to mitigate the issue. The other problem was the air conditioning for the unit. It wasn't working properly and the Keys were having heat advisory warnings the week we stayed. The heating and cooling techs had to come out 3 different times before the air was fixed. Compass Realty did ensure it was fixed, however, so I'm grateful for their help.Overall I would recommend this, the location is great and the condo is very comfortable. I gotta knock it down a star because of the maintenance issues we had. A little preventative maintenance would have made this perfect place to stay instead of just a great place to stay.

Rental had everything we needed even lots of beach towels. It was a good size for the 4 of us and so nice to have 2.5 bathrooms!! Do wish they was a better way to access the keys after hours. Very inconvenient.

Great location-needs some up dating

We loved our experience down there. Over all the stay was wonderful but townhome needs a few things looked after. We did come after the season was up so maybe they had a lot of traffic through and are going to maintain during summer?! We loved how close this place was to everything and was grateful for that. For the price we spent we were expecting a bit more.
