There were may little issues - broken lamp, unplugged in (and no plug near by - so seemingly just for show), stains on bedding, stains on furniture, no toilet paper in one of the bathrooms and no paper towels or dish towels in kitchen. Bathrooms had no trash bags in cans and things were just a little cluttered and not clean in places. To use the oven we had to look online to find the manual for the model to sort out the knobs as all wording had worn off. Honestly all of this plus the cheap feeling bedding were not even that huge of a deal, and those paired w responsiveness would have been ok. The real issues lay in a giant empty alcohol bottle falling on me that was left (previous guests?) on top of the fridge and toppled off, the hot tub seemed to have no chemicals in it and was not getting hotter than 50 degrees, and when I reached out I got no reply throughout my entire stay. The lack of responsiveness from the host and VRBO is making it clear they really don’t care. If you rent a place that says hot tub in the name it should have a functioning hot tub.I never leave reviews like this but the complete lack of communication has led me to do this now and quit using VRBO. The few stars I did give this were for the ample areas to gather as a larger group. There was some effort towards creating a nice vibe. Too bad it was paired with the rest of our experience.
