It is in an excellent spot. The beach is semi-private. There is a park nearby and that beach gets very crowded, so it is nice to have only 10 or 12 people at the beach when we went.The place was built in 1983. It probably has not been updated in 20 or 30 years, but who cares?! The people in the building were quiet.We some minor issues with dirty dishes, broken glass inside the garbage disposal, a broken sliding glass door handle. The maintenance team was very responsive and very quick to help fix things.One issue I had to overcome was the internet quality. The router kept getting overwhelmed and it caused several outages a day. I was working remotely during the stay so I bought a new router myself and then it worked perfectly. I offered to leave it there, but the owners declined and kept their old one.Overall, I would definitely go back. The minor issues we had aren't anything too much to complain about.

Beautiful beach!

We found out about Construction on the building the week before check in . We were assured with a phone call from the managing group that our balcony would not be involved. The view is everything! It was closed the entire month. The managing company did pay an inconvenience fee for the balcony, pool, and jacuzzi all closed . They did change their web page on VRBO after several emails from me. The condo does need updating. Including painting and some additional cleaning.The condo is very spacious and the furniture is sturdy and very comfortable. The beach is absolutely the best!

Second stay

Love this unit, it has all you need for a beach holiday. The balcony furniture was new and is lovely for ocean watching! The unit needs a little TLC in places, patio doors, broken blinds, unstitched curtains, etc but other than that another great stay. A shout out to Dan the maintenance guy who visited the unit to fix the patio - very helpful.

We love the location of this building, however the unit we stayed in was disappointing…many updates needed! Mold on blinds, and on frig water dispenser, panel on drier detached, dishes put away dirty. No working locks on sliding doors…sliding living room door did not close …Diane the contact lady was wonderful she did all she could to make our stay pleasant!! No refund for damage deposit…we did no damage …. Lots of work to be done here for the price being charged…

Beautiful unit, home from home...

Whilst we have stayed at this property many time befor this was the first time renting thus unit, and I sincerely hope it won't be the last! The unit is beautiful, comfortably furnished with extra linens, towels etc. The kitchen is well supplied and there were even books, games and jigsaws to use. The views are stunning from all windows and the balcony well furnished for sitting out with a glass of wibpne at sunset, We had an issue on arrival as the guard had no paperwork for us, we had to wait a while for this to be sorted even though we produced our own proof of renting. My only suggestion for improvement would be that beach chairs are provided for use at the beach. Overseas visitors would appreciate this as the only option is to buy chairs which you then have to leave. I highly recommend this unit, it was indeed like home from home and we will be returning.

Great location and communication

We rented this property for two weeks. It is a beautiful condo with outstanding views in all directions. We happened to be there during July 4th and there were fireworks going off all across the intercostal waterway at the front of the condo and on the beach behind us. A nice thing about the condo is the pool is partly shaded till almost noon every morning so you can swim without having to worry about getting too much sun. Also, the rental company was easy to work with and returned calls, texts and emails promptly. The only downside to the condo is the long walk to the water behind the condo. The beach is very wide there however, the sand is very hard packed so pulling a wagon full of beach stuff would not be as difficult as it would be in soft sand. There are some good restaurants in he area. The Columbian has good Cuban food and is practically across the street. Just down the road is Guppies, Caddy’s Pub and PJ’s with good seafood. We will definitely keep this condo in mind if we go back to the area.

Needs updates

Condo is very spacious. Looks exactly like the pictures. The beach is fantastic. Location of bldg is excellent. Location of condo within the bldg is also excellent-end unit-lots of windows. That being said, we have rented this condo for about 5 years and nothing has changed or improved. The window blinds are awful...broken & falling apart. The guest bathroom shower curtain liner is about half the size it should be - resulting in water on the floor. It was the same last year. Beds are very uncomfortable. Furniture is definitely showing its age. We have loved coming to this condo in the past, but the rates keep increasing each year with no improvements.

Family vacation

Location is away from the action, which is across the bridge. Only 10 minutes away from all the tourist activities. Checkin was very easy. They texted the code for door and we arrived at 4pm. They give you a copy of the rules for the building when you checkin. The unit was clean. Every shade was open and air was set on 76. It took all night to get it to cool down. Asked that you do it slowly 2 degrees at a time so as not to overload the unit. Once it got cool, it stayed cool with keeping the shades pulled on the sunny side during the day. Ceiling fans in the bedrooms. Everything worked as it should. Nice pots/pans and dishes. Enough towels. Walk in closet in each bedroom, good place to stay organized. Nice big end unit with beautiful views on the front big balcony and on the smaller back balcony. Nice comfy furniture on the big deck. Bring water shoes for walk to the beach. It is a bit of a walk over crushed shells before you get to the sand on the beach. Short walk to the state park down the beach. Covered parking in garage. VERY STRICT RULES when using the pool. ABSOLUTLY no drinks anywhere near the pool ONLY at your table. Even “Yeti style” cup with a lid and straw not allowed near the pool. Nothing on the edge. No swim diapers. No balls, of any kind. We had noodles and that was the extent of things allowed. The normal rules, no jumping, diving, running. No children under 14 in hot tub. If you were to forget a RULE, security will come to the pool and let you know. They watch closely. There are only 3 tables at the pool and you usually had to ask for an umbrella. Lots of chairs and loungers. You need a key for the bathrooms. Key is in your unit. The pool is not the place for children. Best bet is to stay at the beach.

Lovely stay at Lighthouse

We love the building, the location is fab and the condo in general is great, comfy beds, plenty of sheets, towels, kitchen goods, etc. Sitting on the balcony on the couches and chairs in the morning and at sunset is amazing. However, as noted in other reviews (but obviously not addressed), the condo is a little tired. The balcony fan, doors from the bedroom are broken, and it needs a spruce up in general. This didn’t have any impact on our enjoyment at all, and we will be back for sure.

Didn’t want our time here

After looking at dozens of properties in this price range we settled on this property. We couldn’t have been happier with our choice. We stayed almost two months and everything about the property was great. Check in was super easy and the condo was perfect. Floor to ceiling windows provide great views of the whole area. Front balcony has views of clearwater bay, saw dolphins about everyday. We also were able to watch two early evening Kennedy space launches. The views of the launch from the front balcony were very clear. Rear balcony had great front row seats to beautiful sunsets over the ocean. We were not sure how the sand would be on the beach, but it was soft. The walk to the beach was not far, but you will walk over shells in that area. Still went barefoot with no problems. Bed was comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked. We had an issue with a broken toilet seat in guest bath, I called and they had it repaired within 4 hours. VRBO/Itrip was on top of things and respond immediately. The beach has quite a variety of shells and we also collected dozens of sand dollars. Great restaurants within a few minute drive, as well as a couple across the street at the shops of sand key. People at the property were very friendly. We would definitely stay here again. Really didn’t want to have to leave.

Beautiful views from every window.

The condo was very comfortable, quiet and yet close to restaurants, shops and entertainment. Condo was spacious and equipped with everything convenience to make one feel at home. Large balcony overlooking the Gulf offered another living space. At night you could hear the waves crashing onshore...lulled you to sleep. We did have a few maintenance issues. The door screen leading to kitchen balcony fell off..this was early in our stay. It couldn’t be repaired right away so we really couldn’t use that balcony or leave door open for fresh air. The door handle on one of the sliding doors of large balcony came off early in stage and it was a struggle to use that door. Also, the balcony door in bedroom came off the track the last day of our visit. I think all of these things could and should be addressed before renters take up occupancy. It’s a lovely home and just needs a little tender loving care. Looking to come again next year.

Best place ever

That place is so beautiful. Windows everywhere. The view was amazing. We had a great time. Very relaxing, and quiet. The furniture was very comfortable. Again the view was beautiful. We didn’t want to leave. My daughter even looked into buying one. The pool area was very clean and the pool very warm.

** Great location, filthy condo **

My wife and I stayed here for 15 days in June/July 2020. We were told about "special Covid-19 cleaning processes, blah blah blah....." and were shocked at the condition of the place! There were dirty dishes and silverware, glasses that were not clean, crumbs and "crap" in the drawers, a live silverfish in a pan, tables that had not been wiped clean, long hair in several places, and a clothes washer that had years of grime and gunk built up on the inside. Oh yeah, the place could use a good dusting, too. Not long after arrival on our first day, I washed all the silverware and a select number of dishes and glasses, as I wanted to make sure we had clean items for our meals and beverages. On the good side, the location is fantastic, along with the views. We enjoyed the pool and cooked at the grill several times. The security guys were very pleasant as well, and covered parking is awesome in the heat and during storms. Ironically, I received my damage deposit back in its entirety. I should have received two times that amount as a credit for all the cleaning that took place!

Best vacation

We had an amazing vacation at this property. The condo is very spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was large, lots of storage, very well equipped and clean. There were games, tennis rackets, beach chairs and plenty of towels (beach and bath towels). The views were beyond amazing. My family enjoyed having our meals on the balcony and I enjoyed the ocean view from the master bath. My only complaints would be the master bed was very firm and my back hurt a lot during my stay. Also it was hard for my children to have fun at the pool because there were many rules. While we have no problem being respectful to others I don’t think these condos are the best suited for families in my opinion. Other than that I would highly recommend this property. It’s the best vacation we’ve ever had!

Great Family Vacation

We enjoyed the spacious condo and the property. The beach access was convenient and added to our overall experience. The view, windows everywhere and balconies were awesome because we had a breathtaking view of the ocean from any point in the condo. The pool was clean and we loved the seating areas and grills. Loved this condo and experience, didn’t want to leave! Made a perfect COVID vacation because of the beach seclusion and no crowds.

One disappointment was the storm shutters on the ocean facing balcony didn’t open fully, so a full View was obstructed. The refridgerator is rusting on the exterior.
