Great location

Right on the beach. Close to several restaurants in the area. Condo was just as described and we would stay again. I suggest that the owners get a new washer/dryer set. They worked but strings got stuck in the door of the dryer. Not a big deal for us. The Atomic Claw down the street is a must with kids. We were down for the 4th of July week and the beaches weren't crowded at all.

Nice quiet property close to the beach

Great Beach Location!

The view from our balcony was beautiful- right on the ocean! The beach was private. The condo community is lush and clean. The pool is large with plenty of tables, chairs and umbrellas. Also a very quiet community. The condo itself was dated. The kitchen a little tight. The condo was not as clean as we would have liked. We would stay here again- although the condo wasn't the cleanest- the view and the property were great!

School Vacation Getaway

The location is exceptional. Private Beach, boardwalk, quiet, fantastic sunsets. This condo was nicely decorated with leather sofas, tile flooring and the beds were comfortable. It had most everything we needed, however, surprisingly, we couldn't find a hair dryer. I will make a point to pack one next time. The beach chairs are in bad shape and do need replacing. The one disappointment was the location of the condo. The second floor doesn't offer nearly as nice a view as the fourth floor, which is where I've always stayed before. Also, building 11 is right next to The Mansions, and so we got some street and building worker noise. Next time I will stay on the 3rd or 4th floor toward the middle of this complex. This is no fault to the owner or Resort Rentals, just a personal preference of mine.

Our Stay at Land's End, Again!!!

We have been going there for four years and each year we look forward to returning. However, each year we have stayed in a different unit because we were not happy with the condition of the uniit or the cleanliness of the condo. Each condo is ready for some TLC--updating, redecorating, painting, but most of all a good cleaning. This year we met the same conditions as in the past. But we love the location of Land's End, so we return each year.

Reviewer Comments: The condo was in a great location and was very well stocked with linens, kitchen appliances and utensils, beach umbrellas, chairs and toys. My only negatives are that there was a large spot of paint coming off the wall in the 2nd bedroom, the rug in the living room could be cleaned or replaced, and the hot tub being off limits to anyone under 17 years of age. The beach, boardwalk, and the property was beautiful. We will be back and will most likely request the same condo.

Perfect Gulf Front Location

Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at Lands End four or five times, and love the location directly on the beach, heated pool and hot tub, convenient parking, friendly guests. Each condo unit is separately owned, so most have been remodeled and cared for. This year we spent a month in Unit 207-11, and discovered that it has been neglected. Some (not all) of our disappointments: uncomfortable sofas and chairs; kitchen appliances undependable; second bedroom has no bedside table or lamp, lumpy pillows, ill-fitting blinds with no privacy, ill-fitting sheets don't stay on beds. Property manager responds quickly to calls, but our list was so long that instead of waiting for repair people on a daily basis, we preferred spending our time enjoying the outdoors and local activities.

We'd definitely recommend Land's End to friends and have talked about going back next year.This unit was pretty diasspointing, though, it needs a lot of maintenance. From peeling paint, walking in to unmade beds(with clean sheets laid out for us) and missing slats in the blinds which you could easily overlook to windows in the guest room that didn't lock and the only bathtub that didn't hold water. At one point, he kitchen sink wouldn't shut off -- of course the water was going full blast. It's a good thing my husband is handy, the twins adapted easily to taking showers and we were able to rig the guest room window so their room was secure. Certainly nothing that ruined our vacation, but this is not a unit we would consider renting again our recommending to anyone.

Paint was peeling off the walls in one of the bedrooms and in the kitchen. The hurricane blind on the balcony is broken; we called to have it fixed and were told it has been that way for years. The furniture is old; metal parts have holes rusting through. The vertical blinds on the windows had several slats missing. And there were ants everywhere. The mattress in the master bedroom is worn out; the mirrored closet is broken. I could go on about how awful the place was - for $2000.00 I expected a MUCH NICER place. This was my dying mother's last trip to the beach - how sad that I couldn't afford to move to a nicer spot for her. The view of the sunset and the water is good - the only plus in this miserable place.

Spring Break 2014

Reviewer Comments: Our rental experience at Land's End in Treasure Island was a perfect destination for family time with our daughter, son-in-law, and our 3 year old grandson. The heated pool was ideal since the weather was cooler than normal during our stay. Our only problem was connecting to the WiFi in the unit. Even using the code provided we could not get a connection. But in the end it was a vacation from technology which really wasn't that big of a deal. We hope to return for another family vacation. Our grandson loved looking for the dolphins!

Won’t rent again

The resort is located in a secluded area, with a great pool, hot tub and two great tennis courts. The apartment was on a second floor overlooking the beach to enjoy the sunsets. Our kids loved the area, and we all enjoyed the beach. On site personnel was nice as well as the office personnel. However, I would be hesitant about staying at this apartment. The unit was advertised for 5 persons with a fully equipped kitchen and enhanced cleaning practices. However, the kitchen was far from being fully equipped and cleaning was almost absent. Silverware, dishware and drinkware was of low quality and not enough for a group of 5 to have a meal without the need to dishwash. Kitchen utensils were dirty and of low quality. There was no broom or anything similar to sweep the floor. The unit was very dirty, the cleaning was far from being enhanced. We found empty bottles and paper dish under one of the beds, paper and hair under the master bed, closets untidy and with sand (more than what could be expected in a beach area), laundry extremely dirty, kitchen drawers with dust and dirt, beds outdated and without mattress cover, bed sheets and covers stained. My wife spent almost the entire first day cleaning the apartment and doing laundry as we did not want anyone entering the apartment to clean due to COVID-19. Also, don ́t expect to be received with any kitchen goodies like salt, pepper, vinegar, coffee, etc. as had been the case in other apartments in which we stayed.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We liked the resort, the pool, the closeness to the beach, it's nice. The condo is outdated, small kitchen, bathrooms really need updates as they were a little dingy/old. They did have some beach chairs, cart, umbrellas, etc. and that was appreciated. Our other condo was much nicer and updated. View of beach is nice and close to access. Bed was very comfortable.

Disappointed!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Getting through the gate experience set the tone for the stay. Very rude and " poer hungry " Prime example of the " Barney Fife type". Unit had a nasty bowl of gray water from the defective plumbing" underneath the kitchen sink. Poor man's fix, I guess. Go elsewhere, unit was overpriced.

Unclean, in need of upgrades, and repairs

We arrived in our condo to find the floor filthy. If you walked barefoot anywhere in the rooms you could feel and see the dirt on the bottoms of your feet. Light fixtures in the ceilings were falling out and the towel racks and toilet paper holders would come completely off the walls. The couches need to be replaced. All of the dishes we used had to be washed before use. The refrigerator is rusted all down the outside and the ice maker container is stuck in place and cannot be removed for easy access to the ice. The outside of the building is beautiful and the pool is fantastic. The beach is beautiful and we had a great time. The grill location is ok but covered areas there would be nice. We won’t rent this particular condo again but may stay at this property.
