A week in paradise

We had a wonderful week! Sitting on the balcony having coffee was such a relaxing time. Being on the gulf and able to watch the Sunsets was awesome. This is my second year staying there and I am looking forward to another week next year!

This condo was very nice and comfortable. The beach view was amazing. The elevator did not work, parts were on order for the 3 weeks we were there. Hot tubs not working yet. Still recovering from the hurricanes. Gate attendants were very friendly. Location was excellent.

Great gulf front property

After an easy check in process, we found the condo to be clean and well located. The view is beautiful! The pool was great after time at the beach. The only thing missing was pot holders for use when taking things out of the oven, but the provided dish towels worked well enough!

Overall stay was great! A few hiccups with initial unit.

Arrived and had no problems checking into unit. Entered the unit and found that it hadn’t been cleaned. Apparently the owner of the unit hadn’t communicated with property management that they were going to be staying. We were put into this unit and it was great. Unit needs some upgrades and some maintenance but all in all we were very happy. We will definitely come back!

Beautiful location, Condo needs attention.

Our family of 6 had a good stay at Lands End. The unit we rented had a beautiful view, we loved how close the walk to the beach was. The pool was big, but our children were told to get out of the hot tub as it's 17 and over. Our kids were in tears. We wished we knew this before renting here. However, the staff and people were friendly. The unit itself had mold and mildew due to the water damage (glass door is not sufficient for the ensuite). The floors were very dirty when we arrived. The pullout couch was broken and uncomfortable for our 2 little ones, it needs to be replaced. The condo didn't have any Dish soap, laundry soap, or kleenex. We purchased all of that out of pocket. My husband and I said we would give the place a 3/5. It was a lovely location (close to beach, close to restaurants, close to grocery stores, etc) but this specific unit just needs some updates and care.

Land's End building 7 #305

The Land's End property is very nice. The buildings are a bit dated but are well taken care of as are the gated community grounds, garage, pool area and beach. Unfortunately, each unit is maintained privately as you would expect and that's where my problems began. Overall this unit has high potential. But there were too many things that I just couldn't overlook and it leads me to write this. My main turn off was the 3 inch hole in the wall behind the toilet in the master bath and the black mold that was behind the toilet near the floor that was a few inches high. Both of these were in plain sight with absolutely no attempt to fix or remove it. Upon check-in, it was clear someone had sprayed bleach in the master bath to try to control the mold. The bathroom stunk for days of bleach. I addressed the issue directly with the property managers; Resort Rentals and they said they were sorry and were not aware of it. When I checked again the reviews for this property, I see that I missed the post from someone in Oct. 2020 complaining about the same thing. (My bad) Unfortunately this put me in a critical mindset and so it was easy to find the "other" issues like: - 2 rolls of toilet paper for 4 people for 1 week. - No dish soap in the kitchen. - Dishwasher lower rack was broken and there were broken plastic pieces stuck to the heating element on the bottom of the dishwasher. - Nice washer and dryer but no detergent anywhere. - Unit came with only 1 kitchen garbage bag. - Crown molding was falling off the ceilings. As I said the property is great, unfortunately, this unit's owner and property managers did NOT make many attempts to satisfy their guests. I recommend Land's End property, but not this unit.

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Unit was in terrible condition, HVAC not serviced, crown molding separating from ceiling in living area and master bdrm, DW not secured and hard to load due to door hitting oven door, hole about 24 x 24 in hall shower from repair, mold and rust along shower in mast. bath from previous leak, cabinets in mast bath were original from 1986, mastresses in all bedrooms were not good, very worn, baseboards need painting, list could go on and on. The owner or mgmt company needs to maintenance and update unit extremely bad, brought attention to rep. from rental companay and he just kind of blew it off due to the heavy rental of unit, not going to mention the activity of the beach, not family friendly, but we have been coming here for over 30 years and loved it, but the last two years it has changed, the parking fee of $60.00 on top of the high rent is a bit much. We won't be back

Reviewer Comments: beautiful view of the ocean right on the beach. but the unit needs serious updates. bathrooms and kitchen are very old and outdated, old caulking worn and removed in many places around floor and sinks leaving growth for mold and mildew. floors and countertops were dirty from insufficient cleaning before we arrived. mattress were lumpy and very old. daughter had some sort of bed bug bites the first night. we had to take the time to wash sheets and mattress pads on all beds. Called the rental place about issue and never got a call back or any solution.

Treasure Island-Sunset Beach Fall 2021

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at Landsend Condos prior to this but on the inlet side. We loved the gulf view of this unit and enjoying coffee in the morning and wine at night watching the sunset. The unit was clean but needed some updating on kitchen items especially a coffee pot. A 4 cup coffee maker is inconvenient for 4 adults. We had our own chairs and umbrella for the beach but the unit did have some chairs and beach items in the closet. Overall we were very pleased with the unit and the area. Would recommend this unit to others and definitely will be back for a future visit.

We won’t wait 4 years to come back again!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: With two cancelled return trips we were SO happy to return to Lands End. Our first stay in 2017 was magical and we loved everything about it. It was heartbreaking to wait so long to get back, but health problems and then covid getting in our way last year. Our first stay in 2017 the unit was absolutely perfect. Renovated gorgeously and excellent location in building 10. This year we stayed in building 7, still beach side but the unit lacked comforts of the original stay. The bathrooms were a little icky, slow working toiletin the hall bathroom across from the kitchen. Two broken umbrellas for the beach and a little dirty in places. Overall, we were there to relax at the beautiful beach and the bedrooms and kitchen were comfortable for us. We would have stayed two weeks is we could afford it and our son wasn’t headed back to school. We will come back again, more likely we will try very hard to stay in the unit we loved in building 10.

Love Treasure Island!

The property is smaller, therefore not having a huge crowd of people, the condo had wonderful updates, and the beach is perfect! We had a great stay and hope to come back soon.

Condo with amazing views of the gulf

We booked this condo after reading reviews of the complex it resides in. The balcony view of the Gulf of Mexico and sunset was absolutely beautiful. So much so, we are already looking to book for next summer. The location was so close to everything we needed……shops, restaurants, and activities.

Oct 2020 Lands End 7-305 Vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a very enjoyable stay at Lands End, Treasure Is. The weather was perfect! However, the accommodations were not as expected. We found mold in the masterbath shower, shower drained very slow, and a hole in the wall near the toliet. I replaced six lightbulbs in kitchen and living area. Floors were dirty and sandy. Living area crown molding was dropping paint chips. Furniture was in disrepair and dirty. We have stayed at Lands End several times in the past and were always impressed with the high quality of accommodations. This time was a disappointment. The property appeared to not been taken care of for quite a while. Definitely needs some TLC. On the positive side: Trips to Gulf Port were amazing and couldn't go wrong eating at the Boulevard, and Conchs!
