We have been travelimng the first week of August for over 15 years and this property out does a lot of these trips. Perfect home. Perfect community.Property management 10/10Highly recommend! Only comment would be that too many of the rooms have master beds only.

Family vacation

We stayed at this property for a week with a group of 13 for a family reunion, and it was absolutely fantastic. The home is even more beautiful and spacious than the photos suggest—perfect for comfortably accommodating a large group. It’s also conveniently located within Palmas Del Mar, close to grocery stores and a great selection of restaurants, which made everything easy and enjoyable. We did experience a minor issue with flooding in the lower apartment, but the property manager was extremely responsive. A cleanup crew arrived promptly, and a plumber quickly resolved the issue. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and we would gladly return.

This home is beautiful, however there were some serious downsides which appears to have been a problem brought in from another stayer. Firstly, the property manager is very responsive. We had an issue with lighting for the pool at night that we worked through together and someone came to fix the next day. The bigger issue was that part of the house (kitchen, washing machine area, dining, living room and 1 bedroom) had a roach problem in the kitchen. Upon arrival it smelled like they had just fumigated and I thought it was just a maintenance however roaches were clearly seen at night on the kitchen, dishwasher, coming out of the coffee machine and on counter tops. They sent the guys that manage the property grounds and sprayed again however that’s where we learned this was due to a previous stay. The biggest concern at that point was me bringing back roaches to my home or other guest homes. The fact that this was known and not relayed to us until after we were there was the only reason this property got 2 stars. They tried to makeIt right by opening up the apartment usage for us but it’s too small to have guest eat in and resorted to cooking outside by the pool on the grill or eating out. The bunk bed bedroom is more of a hallway converted to a bedroom that goes to the gym. There is no AC in it so you have to rely on the gym door being open and we were unable to lock the door to the balcony which we did not want the kids wondering up there so they slept in the master with us.

Magnificent View

The property was perfect for our family—all adults and one baby. The views were spectacular, and the property was very clean. Rico was great and always attentive, providing several tips for local trips and rentals. I would definitely return to this property.

Beautiful

We had a wonderful stay. The house was beautiful. We had Chef Jeff making our meals and he was The Best!!! The only thing I would suggest is to include a golf cart with the property. It would have been nice to be able to move around the community with a golf cart. Also, the hot tub was not hot. Other than that, great vacation!!

A Vacation to Remember

This place was absolutely fantastic! We stayed with multiple friends and family members and had plenty of space to enjoy each other’s company while also finding moments of solitude. Our morning walks were breathtaking, with a hidden beach just minutes away. The kitchen was fully stocked, and the outdoor kitchen made for unforgettable evenings of grilling. The apartment was ideal for guests who needed to balance work and relaxation. Plus, the house manager greeted us at check-in and was incredibly helpful in answering all our questions. A truly exceptional stay! It was a short golf cart ride to the beach at the Wyndham. Our family and friends will never forget this amazing vacation. We are so grateful this place will be part of our story.

Perfect Family Vacation Home

The property was clean and well-equipped with spectacular views. It was close to restaurants and markets as well as beaches. A golf cart helps to get around - we were a family of 13 and two 6 passenger carts were perfect. I would definitely consider another stay if we travel back to Puerto Rico!

Family reunion

Celebrated grandma‘s 80th birthday by bringing all three children and all grandchildren, all 15 of us together for a week. What a magical experience, she was on cloud nine. Ample Space, and the place is beautiful and well stocked. Gorgeous view off the deck, we spent countless hours there. Great outdoor grilling space, made most of our meals there. Two small beaches within 15 to 30 minute walk, neither ideal for swimming, but both beautiful and tranquil. Main beach is a short driveway with parking nearby, would not waste money on renting golf cart, unless you have non-car drivers who want to get around. Overall strongly recommend this magical spot.

Great outdoor space

High on a hill and surrounded by lush greenery, this house provides a stunning view of the ocean and a fantastic outdoor space with a covered area offering comfortable couches for reading or relaxing and an outdoor kitchen featuring a grill, bar seating, and a large dining table. It was the hub of our family’s stay, allowing us to gather as we watched the kids frolicking in the pool. Note: the pool is unheated, so it can be cold, and the adjoining smaller pool, although configured as a hot tub, is also unheated. Indoors, there are stairs to negotiate between the many levels, which might be a concern for those with mobility issues. Some bedrooms open to an outdoor corridor and the bunk bed room has a loft, so perhaps unsuitable for small children. Renting here does not confer access to the Palmas del Mar community beach club but you will be able to play golf or tennis for a fee.

Gorgeous Villa with Gorgeous Views

My family of 13 just returned from a one week stay, ages 12 to 80 years old and we all had a fantastic time! Rico, the property manager, met us there upon our arrival to hand over the keys, show us around and answer any questions. The villa met all of our expectations and beyond! As we had such a large group we were able to rent the attached apartment, which was a huge benefit. We spent the most time enjoying the beautiful views, while soaking in the sunshine in the pool. The pool is not heated, however, the temps were in the mid 80's and it was humid, so the pool was quite refreshing. Not one of us found the pool to be too cold to enjoy. We loved having access to the pool inflatables and access to beach towels. One suggestion for the pool is to add handles to the stairs for safety purposes. There are also beach chairs available to use if you go to the beach. We also loved having access to an outdoor grill, which we made good use of. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything imaginable for your cooking needs (air fryer, griddle, slow cooker, etc). We loved having use of the washer and dryer. There was only one slight issue early on in that the water temperature in the primary bathroom was lukewarm, however, Rico was there immediately to take care of it and he followed up with a text later in the day to make sure it was working. Excellent customer service on his part!! We would highly recommend this villa to anyone, you will not be disappointed.

Incredible Vacation Home

My group included three families with kids and there was more than enough space for everyone. The pool area was spacious and private, and the views were spectacular. The house was comfortable, clean, and equipped with everything we needed when preparing meals at home. Communication with both the host and onsite property manager was excellent. We would 100% stay here again!

Beautiful home in Palmas Del Mar

The house is large and comfortable. The view is exquisite. Pool is not heated and was pretty cold. Also shampoo is not supplied and a limited supply of soap and toilet paper was in the house. 10am checkout is earlier than we were accustomed to. A request for a later checkout was declined. But overall we had a very good week staying in Palmas Del Mar.

Perfect in every way

The house was everything we hoped for and so much more. The view is beautiful. The pool and outside pavillion is where we spent most of our time. Even in the rain we were able to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful view and peaceful sounds of nature. The house was very spacious, well maintained and was stocked with everything we needed. The bedrooms are positioned to allow everyone privacy and undisturbed rest. Our group had such a great time and would absolutely do it again. As mentioned in other reviews, it is everything you see in the photos and much more. Rico was very nice and responded to every question very promptly. We truely had the best time. Thank you.

Excellent property for large groups.

Celebrated my 40th birthday in Palmas Del Mar with friends. The community itself offers a lot of things to do. Gorgeous golf course, restaurants, various sports, etc. The house itself was large and accommodated our group fairly well. Outdoor area was spacious and had beautiful views. No direct beach access from the property, but you can access via the resort hotel area. The rooms vary in size and amenities. Property advertises sleeps 16 but this includes a bunk room which is mostly suitable for children. Rico was a great host/prop manager. Wifi coverage is inconsistent and slow in most areas. Car or golf cart is recommended.

Wonderful family trip

As others have mentioned, this place is beautiful and I can't say enough about the outdoor space and the views! One thing I didn't realize is that every room led to the outside to go to other rooms so doors had to be kept closed which was hard to do with little kids. Also the beach was much further than we expected and not really walkable when the weather was extremely hot. But overall the property and the location were fantastic and Rico was very responsive to any questions we had!

Outdoor area and pool are tops!!

Lovely home with fabulous views! The outdoor area is great!! Which is really the most important feature in our view! The other areas are all lovely although little used as we had beautiful weather and constant breezes which made it very comfortable. Great communication with manager as he waited patiently for us. Will certainly recommend to friends.

Gorgeous setting with lovely views

A suggestion is that foods be more thoroughly cleared away after each stay. There clearly were items in the kitchen that were over aged. That said, there were fresher items, seasonings etc, which were welcome and helpful. Our group ranging in age from 14 to 87 each found appropriate activities and the setting was extraordinary.

I chose Villa Bellamar because of the hilltop ocean view of the island of Vieques and it's Mediterranean style. It is located on a cul de sac in Ridge Top, the most exclusive area of Palmas del Mar. It has a very large pool and spa area with pavilion overlooking the ocean.
