¡Escápese a lo que nuestra familia conoce desde hace 50 años como el lugar más mágico del mundo! El Cocal es una comunidad cerrada de casas de playa escondidas entre las hermosas montañas y el océano caribeño en la costa este de Puerto Rico. Aquí su mente, cuerpo y alma no pueden evitar relajarse y convertirse en uno con la naturaleza.
Villa Luna tiene 4 dormitorios y 3 baños completos. El primer dormitorio tiene dos camas matrimoniales, el segundo dormitorio tiene una cama queen size, el tercer dormitorio una litera con dos camas individuales en la parte superior y completa en la parte inferior y un botón y el dormitorio principal con una cama king size y baño completo ... Cocina completa, sala de estar, cine en casa, televisión, dvd, estación de ipod, juegos, películas, comedor, 2 balcones con vista al mar y a la montaña, porche con vista al mar, hammacs y muebles de exterior, ducha exterior, lavadora y secadora, ropa de cama y toallas siempre, estacionamiento, casa club con cancha de baloncesto, sillas de playa, baloncesto, etc. Cerca de Snorkeling, Restaurantes, Golf, Selva, Viejo San Juan.

We had a wonderful stay at this property in Yabucoa! The location was perfect-easy to navigate (driveway is a bit steep but workable), close to restaurants, grocery stores, etc. and just about an hour from the airport. The pool was very relaxing, and the home had all of the basic amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The highlight was definitely the sunrise view from the primary bedroom- absolutely beautiful and such a peaceful way to start each morning. Overall a great spot for anyone looking for convenience. comfort, and a lovely setting. Host was very accommodating and helpful.

Beautiful Villa in a great location!

It was a wonderful visit and Elizabeth is an incredible host! The villa was just as pictured and was well appointed! The beach was so close and given the location, seemed very private and quiet! Shopping and other amenities were just a short 10 minute drive for the most part!! Loved our time there!!

Wonderful Vacation

The house was awesome! Clean with amazing views. Short walk to the beach and not busy like the touristy parts of the island. The host is easy to communicate with.

A slice of paradise!

Everything about this house was just as described. It was light and airy and the views were breathtaking! The pool was great for the times we wanted to relax but the kids wanted to swim. The beach was amazing and we loved swimming and hunting for shells.

Beautiful House

We recently returned from this beautiful home. Communication with the owner was amazing and the check-in process was very easy. We didn't realize that the house only had air-conditioning in the bedrooms, but that was our fault for missing it in the details. We also heard that this is common in Puerto Rico. It does get very warm in the common areas, so recommend opening up all the doors to get a breeze. Otherwise, everything was beautiful and there was everything you could have possibly wanted or needed. She even had available beach towels, sunscreen, first aid kit, board games, beach chairs and cards. If you are visiting Puerto Rico, I would recommend this house and Elizabeth!

Beautiful home!

We had a group of 10 and greatly enjoyed our stay - plenty of room for everyone, it was a friendly and quiet neighborhood, close to the beach and we spent a lot of time enjoying the pool and exploring other local towns. We would definitely recommend and come back in a heartbeat!

This home fit our party of 11 great (Elizabeth was kind to let us add one more unexpected child to our trip last minute). Clean home! We had 4 kids with us and they absolutely LOVED the pool facing the gorgeous hillside area. We even saw an iguana, caught frogs, and tried a couple of star fruits! We spent many mornings sitting out and watching the ocean. The waves were rough (maybe something to do with the hurricane going towards Jamaica) but we still managed to let the kids swim in the area surrounded by rocks to block some waves a couple of days and traveled to Luquillo for another calmer beach day. The house was very easy to get to and from all the places we wanted to visit while there. We appreciated the well stocked home, even with condiments/spices etc. The ACs in the bedrooms worked really well and kept us all cool at night while sleeping. Coming from Colorado with no humidity, it took us a couple of nights to get used to no AC in the living areas, but once we added some fans (also provided) we all were able to sit and visit very comfortably with a warm breeze! The driveway is steep, so as stated having a higher clearance vehicle works best, but overall it wasn’t a hurdle at all. A couple of “constructive criticisms” for this home would be to maybe have a long handled squeegee to swipe over the outdoor tiles after getting wet to dry quicker and outdoor hanging hooks to hang wet towels/swimsuits and shaper knives or sharpener. We would definitely return! Thank you!
Four generations were able to come together for a first time visit in Puerto Rico!

Beautiful Home

This place is as pictured and fit our needs well! Pros: nearby beach, open concept and spacious, excellent breeze throughout home and great pool with beach chairs and umbrella!! The only con is the upstairs family room lacks comfortable seating. We love watching movies as a family in the evening and found this to be the only downfall to the place. I highly recommend as the pros definitely make it an excellent choice!!

Awesome place

We really enjoyed our stay. We had some initial difficulty to find it but Elisabeth was very helpful to get us properly oriented when we called her. This is a great house with great views of ocean and rain forest behind the house. We were much appreciative that the house was well-stocked and things like beach chairs were provided. We highly recommend!

Beautiful property

Villa Luna was so beautiful. The house was exceptional. The views, fabulous. the beautiful beach just across the road......the lovely pool, looking at the rain forest! All of that made for a fabulous week with our daughters and their husbands! Thank you so much for sharing your home!

I would like to start with how accurate the online listing is to reality. The home was completely breath taking from the inside to the outside. I couldn’t help but to notice how clean and organized everything was. This home had everything we needed from material things, space for our big family, sense of security, and beautiful views. The view from the master bedroom was undeniably one of my favorite things. Even the construction across the way didn’t take away from anything. The pool was a main attraction for our family. The view of the rainforest while we swam and listened to music was amazing. This was the first time we traveled to Puerto Rico and our experience was so positive that I’m sure it won’t be the last. Family getaway

This was our first trip to Puerto Rico and our stay was perfectly relaxing. The property was amazing with ocean in front and the rainforest in the back. The home had plenty of space for the family to stretch out, the pool was refreshing and the beach was right across the street. Elizabeth was wonderful and a very attentive host.

Beautiful Home

The home was beautiful, and Elizabeth was very accommodating! The home is just a short walk from the beach. There aren't any good restaurants very close. We had to drive at least 20 minutes to get a good meal. There is a nice grocery store and Walgreens in town but no boutiques.

Dream Vacation

This was our first trip to PR and we could not have selected a better place to stay! We wanted a home with an ocean view out of the normal touristy areas and this was just that! The home was clean, roomy for two families and was an easy walk to the beach. Many local restaurants were within 10 minutes and all other amenities also within 15-20 minutes. Elizabeth’s home is easy to get to and within an hour drive to the rain forest and other excursions. Would highly recommend and we hope to return again!! Thank you for an amazing vacation!

EL Cocal is a very special place for me and my family. My grandparents bought a beach house when El Cocal was created 50 years ago. As a Kid my family used to spend weekends at the Beach House. This was and is my happy and safe place, lots of Great memories!!!!!
My family loved this place so much that my parents retired at the Beach house and I recently built two villas to keep coming every year with my husband and two beautiful boys. I want for them to experience what I experience as a child, tranquility, family time and quality of life.
If you are looking for your happy place this might be the one!!!

Beautiful views of the ocean and mountains!!!! Marine turtles lay their eggs on our beach between March and June!!!
