Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit was clean and well equipped. 2 issues with the unit; 1) Dryer did not work about half the time. 2) Main tv would not connect to the internet, so we could not use our accounts to watch Netflix etc., bedroom worked fine. Not related to the unit was 1 of the 2 elevators did not work, which made move in and out troublesome alone with the day to day up and down a problem. I would avoid any units in the East building until repairs are made.

This spacious condo is in an older building and the apartment has wear and tear on it. The unit was reasonably clean but was not completely detailed upon arrival. Overall I recommend the location and unit, especially if you want space.

The balcony door didn't lock which was a big safety concern with small children. The shutters in all the rooms are broken. The laundry room door is bent in at the bottom which hinders it from opening and closing easily. The furniture and rugs are very dirty and need cleaned. A little love and deep clean would go a long way. At the property itself, my husband and daughter cut their foot on glass inside the pool. Also, the gate down to the beach did not lock which is a safety concern and the floor in the elevator is soft and rotted

We are from Texas and normally we visit the Texas beaches a few times a year, but my daughter just graduated high school so we wanted to try something different this year. After much research, we decided on the SeaChase Condos in Orange Beach. The facility and condo were awesome. The condo had everything we could want and the view of the gulf was amazing. The stores and restaurants across the street was an added bonus. We were very satisfied with everything.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo we stayed in was beautiful- plenty of space with top of the line appliances, including an ice maker! We have been staying at beach front condos for over 40 years and this was probably the nicest one. However, Sea Chase itself lacks many points of service that are not communicated prior to the stay: want clean towels? Buy your own tide and wash them yourself! And the grills are all charcoal, not propane like at literally other resort. So if you are prepared for some minor inconveniences you will love this place!

Reviewer Comments: We love Sea chase and have been coming here since they were built in the 80s! This condo was beautifully decorated and had cozy furniture. The ice machine is always a must fir me (sone Sea Chase condos do not have). Tips for homeowner: most owners leave a couple of beach chairs in the closet but we had no access. Especially in the winter when lounge rentals aren’t available, this would have been nice. The master bed is SO soft. I’m not usually picky about mattresses but this would preclude me from staying here again. Overall the unit was perfectly clean, had plenty of kitchen essentials to cook meals, and beautifully decorated.

We have our family vacation every year in Orange Beach and wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else. We feel like it’s home. The office employees and security employees are always nice and helpful if we need anything. We’ll definitely be back for more memories to be made and celebrate our daughter’s birthday like we have in the past.

Time for a change

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This unit was ok, but really hurting in amenities and updating. They may have had two wine glasses alike and a few pieces of cutlery alike, but that was all. Mattresses were old and worn and bedding in dire need of updating. Obviously the owners are just using this for rental and want to expend the minimum cost for profit. We have always loved SeaChase and we’re very disappointed in the condition of the facilities. Door frames rusted and the only operable elevator was broken till 3pm one day! Sadly, this will be our last stay here.

Much needed time away!

Reviewer Comments: The condo had many positive features including being able to contact housekeeping to get items that should have been standard items in the condo. Housekeeping provided them quickly. We did have plenty of silverware however like mentioned in other reviews too many items on the furniture surfaces which makes it difficult to find space to place your personal items. The pillows in the primary bedroom were as hard as a rock and the mattress needs to be replaced. A couple of blankets for the beds would be helpful too. There needs to be more towels in the two additional bathrooms. One per person is too minimum especially since it’s advertised to hold 8 guests and we were only 5. It would be nice to have additional seating on the patio too. Not enough stuff to accommodate 8 guests at the property. Overall the facility is what keeps me coming back. Having easy access to the beach and the three swimming pools are an added bonus. We will just keep searching for the best condo option for future stays. When paying over $7k for a week stay I don’t think there is anything wrong with having minimum expectations. Just my two cents but my review may help others.

Reviewer Comments: We love all the things about seachase, location, pool, etc. But E1001 specially was not that enjoyable because the beds were terribly uncomfortable and old. Owners need to invest in new mattresses. Also, the unit had too many decorative items - to the point where there was zero space to put anything. We will not be staying in this unit again.

Our only disappointment for our group of 7 (advertises as sleeping 8) was there were only 6 coffee cups, and enough silverware for one meal, so we were handwashing in between , and let's face it, this was vacation & that wasn't what we wanted to be doing. Also, on balcony there was only a bar height table that seated 4 --- again, we all couldn't go out and hang out on the balcony together. There was also an abundance of decorative pillows everywhere.... they were more of an annoyance than comfort, having to move them to even sit anywhere.

A Very Relaxing Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was the first time we rented this particular unit and can't wait to go back to it. The furniture was extremely comfortable and the unit was furnished beautifully. We were pleased to find the extra blankets in each closet and televisions in each bedroom were nice to have. The views from this unit are amazing. The walk to the pools and beach are so close and accommodating. There is a wal-mart store right across the street and within walking distance. Our only suggestions would be to have more seating available on the balcony (we were a party of 8 and there is only 4 seats outside), a better assortment of cooking utensils and larger skillet, some kid friendly games/puzzles (we did leave a couple), and a beach wagon. We have stayed in other units that had the wagon and sand toys available for use at no charge and that was so appreciated (we do own a beach wagon, but did not have room in the vehicle to take with us).
