Escape to this house in picturesque Winter Haven. This phenomenal property features 2 queen bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with a jetted bathtub. Additionally, there is a sunroom with a futon for extra comfort. This house is situated between two lakes that are excellent for kayaking. There is a fenced in back yard and this is in a quiet neighborhood. This is my home. When you aren't here, I live here. This is not an empty house just for renting. There are many personal items and furnishings. We'll be available to answer any questions while you stay at our place.

Large classic older home with arches & hardwood floors. Nice walkable neighborhood. Lovely view of the lake. It was nice to take morning walks around the lake. Close to downtown shops. Owner answers questions immediately. Be aware that the owner still has all her belongings in the home so if this bothers you don’t rent it. We would rent it again.

Very pleasant and cozy accommodation. The property owner was very timely with communication. The porch light was burnt out when we arrived at dark, but other than that, our stay was great!

This property requires maintenance.I'm leaving this review with hopes that things change before the next person books this property. This place needs some TLC (tender love and care). Otherwise, it would have been a great stay at this house. I fell in love with the Harry Potter theme of the residence, but this property needs attention.a. backed up kitchen and bathroom sinksb. toilets unclean (wiped off urine) *c. dog hair all over the floorboard's edgesd. dog fecal matter all over the backyard e. clogged kitchen ice dispenser *f. heavy dust everywhere * (allergies triggered from the bed)g. fridge water filter requires replacement & tray needs cleaning (mold)The items marked with an asterisk couldn't wait, so I took it upon myself to fix some of these as best I could to address the immediate impact it had on our stay. Again, amazing location and beautiful neighborhood, but the inside needs work.

This home had the same guests for three months. They left the day you made a last minute reservation the week of Thanksgiving. I did not know the sink was clogged, but did make every effort to send someone to fix it during the stay. You chose for him not to come. The icemaker does freeze in the door. Every day. I have done everything possible to make it not do that. It freezes in the door and drips in the tray. I have made my cleaner aware to keep an eye on this now. It is not something I think about because I just open the door and get ice. Water is provided in a water machine in the dining room. Seeing as how the sheets were changed the day before, I seriously doubt the claim of the bed being full of dust and setting off allergies. As stated in the description and in a personal message, this is my house and is not just a furnished rental.
