Our family has spent years making memories here—and now we’re so excited to share this special spot with you. Whether you’re looking for a cozy retreat with friends or a fun-filled getaway with the kids, this cottage is set up to give you everything you need. Our hope is that you make loving memories and feel at home the moment you walk in!

We want you to feel totally at home during your stay—almost everything in the cottage is for your enjoyment! That said, here are a few helpful things to know:

Upstairs Bedroom Closets: These two closets are for family use only and contain personal items. Thanks for leaving them as-is.

Fridge & Freezer: These are all yours! Just please remove any food before you leave.

Condiments & Pantry: Feel free to use what’s there—coffee, tea, spices, oil, etc. We also provide body wash, shampoo, toilet paper, and paper towels to get you started.

Board Games Galore: You’ll find a great selection of board games both upstairs and downstairs—perfect for cozy nights or rainy days!

Basement Fridge: Please keep this one closed—it’s not for guest use.

Under the Deck: Lawn games, kids’ toys, and life jackets live here. Go ahead and use them—just return everything after each use.

Kayaks & Pedal Boats: Have fun on the water! Just remember, it’s at your own risk and life jackets must be worn at all times.

Hot Tub: Clean, maintained, and ready for you to enjoy—year-round!

Winter Guests: The driveway has a slope, so winter tires are a must if it’s snowy. We do our best to keep the upper parking area clear, but due to weather, alternate parking can’t be guaranteed.

Feel free to reach out 24/7 through Air Bnb. The main contact for emergencies is Anna and we will share her phone number the day of check-in. We always do our very best to get back you as quickly as possible!

Please keep in mind that this is our cherished family cottage, filled with years of love and memories. We ask that you treat it with care and respect the house rules—no parties or large gatherings. You’re absolutely welcome to relax, have fun, and enjoy yourself—we just ask that it’s done with kindness and respect for the space, the neighbours, and the peaceful nature of the lake.
- Quiet Hours 11PM-8AM, smoking permitted outside using cigarette disposal.
-Smoking, Vaping, burning candles, burning insence is NOT permitted inside the cottage under any circumstances. Violating will result in the security deposit not being refunded.
People other than the guest party set forth as per booking may not stay overnight in / on property. Any other person in/on the property is the sole responsibility of Guest. Guests are not allowed to exceed the occupancy limit agreed to upon booking.
-Guests should not create excessive noise at a level that disturbs neighbours. Code-Enforced neighbourhood quiet hours are from 11PM - 8AM.
-Please feel free to use the firepit, but use at own risk and responsibility. Please ensure you review the Brancroft fire-burn regulations before starting a fire.
-Please ensure you respect our family cottage and treat it as if it was your own.
-Upon departure, we ask that you leave the cottage just as you found it. Tidy for the next guests.
-We have a septic system that is delicate, so only septic safe toilet paper in the toilets.
-No garbage, plastics, Soaps or Shampoo allowed in the lake. Please ensure you clean-up after spending time outside.
-Upon departure, please return all amenities and water toys to their proper location. ---Lights must be turned off, all windows closed, both basement and upstairs doors locked.
-Please remove all food and personal items brought up during your stay.
