Bowden House is the perfect spacious retreat for large families and groups seeking a relaxing getaway. This beautifully furnished, thoughtfully equipped holiday home resides on an expansive one-level property in the heart of Glenorchy. Featuring open-plan living and exceptionally generous facilities, the home offers an inviting blend of comfort and airy elegance. Every detail in the house has been carefully curated to elevate your holiday experience. Your hosting team, Mark, Miriam and Ellie, seamlessly combine the warmth of home with the luxury of an unforgettable escape.
This substantial home of over 500m2 includes 8 bedrooms, 5 living rooms, 6 bathrooms and 3 designated outdoor areas. Central to this spacious house is a modern kitchen, fully equipped with everything needed for your stay. A large fridge/freezer with an ice/water dispenser, oven with induction hotplates, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle, blender, rice cooker, Nespresso machine, etc. The kitchen has a stone-top island bench with seating for 6 guests. Adjacent to the kitchen is a large stone-top dining table with seating for 10 guests and a beautiful lounge room with comfortable leather couches and a large smart TV.
- All bedrooms include a large smart TV, wardrobe with hangers, electric blanket, and bedside tables with lamps. Four queen bedrooms have their own ensuite.
- There is a kitchenette in the northern wing of the house with a fridge/freezer, sink and microwave.
- The second living room has 2 leather couches and a large smart TV, two pinball machines and a sit down arcade cocktail machine with 60 games.
- Down 5 stairs is the enclosed 120m2 entertainment / living zone which has high ceilings and carpeted floors, making it cosy but bright. The space is equipped with a queen bed, bathroom / toilet, 5 leather lounges, a pool table, a table tennis table, 2 large smart TVs, PlayStation 3, Wii and another sit-down cocktail arcade machine with 60 games.
- The backyard of the property has an extremely private landscaped garden. The space is fully enclosed and very safe for young children.
- The laundry nook has a washer, dryer, and cabinet with a stone top.
- Air conditioning and heating in all rooms with individual controls to ensure optimal comfort for all guests.
- The entry/exit driveway has ample parking for 5-6 vehicles.
- All bedding and towels supplied.
