Escape to the Indian River! Mullett lake, Burt lake or both with a dock and boat launch right next door you are fully ready to enjoy the water at this riverside cottage. This quaint three bedrooms, one and a half bath are rustically decorated. Sleeps 4 (1 king, 1 queen and 1 full) The cottage has a boat dock available for use during your stay, there is a public boat launch next door and minutes to The Landings Marina to stop for gas. Enjoy basking in the sun on the porch or grilling by the dock as you watch the boats. The kitchen is fully outfitted and ready for use. The cottage is best suited for single families rather than groups. Enjoy unplugging from technology during your stay or be prepared to bring your own hotspot as there is no wifi.

Exactly what we needed. Beautiful place

Nice little cabin

It was a great place to stay especially if you have a boat. Has a nice dock and marine next door. Very quiet and peaceful. Would highly recommend this cottage.

Wonderful get away

This is the third year we have rented this home for our yearly trip to Indian River, it's a great home with lots of room inside and out. There enough dock space for your boat plus to throw out a fishing line. There's a launch right beside the cabin plus a little store if you need anything. The firepit faces west giving you a beautiful view of the sunset while sitting by the fire and watch the boats go by.

Very Nice

Our family of 6 rented this house and had a wonderful stay. Plenty of room for all of us. Great views and great boat dock for our boat. Marina right next door was also a plus. Games and movies that are in the house were also an added bonus for keeping 2 tweens entertained. We especially liked the baby swan that met us at our car and hung around for our stay. Would highly recommend this rental. Owners were great. House was clean. 5 stars from this happy family!!

Had a good time. Cabin worked great for us. Clean and well stocked with household supplies so we didnt have to bring our own. Boat dock out front and launch near the house made boating very easy.

Color Tour

Had an amazing and comfortable fall weekend on Indian River. Home was clean, access to the water was great. Enjoyed bonfires, the fall color change and bird watching all weekend long. Would recommend this comfortable home to any traveler looking for a great place in Northern Michigan!!!!!

Our 3 yr old daughter even named the place the Boathouse.

We travelled with our 3 yr old and 10 month old. This place was fantastic! The owners were great to work with and so accommodating. Because of the boat landing right by the house and all the birds nearby even the rain couldn't prevent us from enjoying the area. Our 3yr old loved it so much all we heard when we weren't there, and all the way home too, was, "When are we going back to the Boathouse?"

We found this adorable home for our annual pontoon trip and absolutely loved it. The home accommodated our group and we loved the location, especially having the boat launch and dock right in our back yard! We have found our new spot and can't wait to come back next year!

We had a wonderful stay at this river front home, right on the Indian River. We could access both Burt and Mullett Lake easily so the location was perfect. The house is an older one but very clean and comfortable. The owners could not be nicer to work with.

Great Place

This is the second year our family has stayed at this cabin, with the boat launching area right beside the cabin it's easy to get put you boat in and out of the water. There's plenty of parking for trucks and trailers. You can watch boats go by, fish off the dock or just relax and watch the sun set. Nice big kitchen, eatting area and living room, plus the half is nice. We have and would recommend this cabin to friends.

Clean and updated interior, nice backyard/dock

Very nice and updated interior. Very comfortable and enjoyable stay. Was only there for 3 nights but entire family wanted to stay longer. On water edge of river with launch 50 ft away; would of been awesome to bring a boat and launch there. We will likely use the home again in the future. Thanks
