Santos Villa is clearly a home and you can feel like that as soon you arrive. From the décor to the layout to the furnishings to the smallest of touches.
One of the greatest joys of owning a vacation rental is hearing about all the wonderful memories families have created within our home.
The space

Our happy place is a independent house, features 4 bedrooms (sleeps 8 comfortably), 2.5 baths, stainless steel appliances, a fully equipped kitchen, private and screened Pool & Spa, pool deck with loungers, dining table and chairs.

Game room: pool table, foosball table, air hockey table

Kitchen – stainless steel appliances, kitchenware, tableware, coffee maker, toaster, sandwich grill, rice maker, pressure cooker pan, blender, double wall oven, pressure cooker over, etc.

Parking on the drive way and one side of the street. Please make sure you don’t park on the grass.
Parking space: 2 cars max. If you have a third car you should park on the other side of the street.


We provide a highchair, a crib and 2 strollers.

Gas Grill: No BBQ grill is provided at our house. You can rent one from a reliable 3rd party to be delivered to the house prior to your arrival. The grill will be clean and will have a full tank of propane gas. The fee for a grill is $80 for the stay.
* NO CHARCOAL grill allowed on property.* High risk of fire due to low screen enclosure. $100 fee will be applied.

*POOL
The pool is cleaned once a week usually on Friday and it need to rest for a hour. Pool cleaning time may vary according to the pool technician schedule for the day.
Please note: Kids might be very sensitive to chlorine. If you are not sure wait a little longer to swim.
Pool and Spa are always the same temperature. It is NOT a hot tub.
Pool heat ($45 per night) is optional and available between November – April. If you would like to purchase pool heat, please let us know in advance as it can take up to 24 hours to be fully heated. Minimum 4 days purchase.
Please note the pool heater works thru HEAT EXCHANGE and might not function with weather near freezing temperatures.
The pump have a safety system that prevents overheating of the element when the pump is working overtime in cold weather conditions. This way causes a temporary shut off of services automatically until the pump can regain its functionality efficiently.

Cocoa Beach is just one hour away, Clearwater beach 80 minutes away.

Other things to note
This is a self-catered home; however, we do provide the following items for you to start with: 1 roll of toilet paper in each bathroom, 1 soap bar in each bathroom, 1 dishwasher tablet and 1 small bottle (1 load) of laundry detergent. For all your personal items and meal preparation needs, a Publix Supermarket is 7 minutes away and 24hr Walmart Super Center is 15 minutes away

THIS HOUSE IS SELF-CATERING. Please stop by your nearest supermarket to purchase personal toiletries and desired meals.

HOUSEKEEPING: There is no daily housekeeping service provided in the rental rate. Before check-in, the unit will be thoroughly cleaned and inspected by a professional cleaning company. Clean sheets, shower and pool towels will be available in the house. We don’t provide washcloths. Mid-stay cleaning services during your stay can be requested for an additional fee.

For reservations longer than 30 days, a monthly cleaning service is required and must be paid in advance. The cleaning crew will schedule the cleaning dates prior to your arrival.

FOOD: As per Florida law, we are not allowed to leave open food in the refrigerators or kitchen closets, hence, all food items will be removed after the guest checks out and no supply of items such as condiments, coffee powder will be provided prior to check in.

NEST THERMOSTATS:
Nest Thermostats don't have a touch screen. Use the touch bar on the right side to control your thermostat. Swipe up to raise the temperature, swipe down to lower it, and tap to confirm. The display will show you how many minutes until your desired temperature is reached.
If you have issue with the thermostat please let us know we will be happy to help you adjust it to the desired temperature.


PACKAGES AND DELIVERIES:
We don’t take responsibility for any delivery to the house and we’ll not bother other guests as well.
USPS does NOT deliver at the property.
If you need Prime, fedex or ups, they will deliver but it needs to be done during your stay dates.

*TRASH DISPOSAL: Please observe trash collection days and place trash in barrel daily to keep a clean home.

RV Campers, enclosed trailers/tents are not allowed on or near the property, as set forth by the individual community guidelines

STORM / HURRICANE/TORNADOES

Evacuation Policy
Polk County does not have a mandatory evacuation policy. It is the policy of Polk Count’s Emergency Management to recommend in-place shelter as the primary option during a disaster. For those unable to remain in place, especially those in mobile homes, the remaining choices should be considered in order of preference. Whichever of the following options is selected, it is advised that a seven-day survival kit be assembled and ready, a course of action be planned, and that the plans be executed as soon as practicable before the disaster hits. The recommended options are:
In-place Shelter: Plan to remain in your residence during the emergency, if possible.
Evacuate to friend’s or relative’s residence: If forced to evacuate, it is less traumatic for all concerned to be sheltered with familiar people, in more comfortable surroundings.
Evacuate the area: Other people leaving coastal counties in the projected path of the storm will also be on the road. Leave at least 48-72 hours before the storm is expected to strike.
Evacuate to the hotel/motel: Make arrangements early as rooms will fill quickly with other evacuees.
Evacuate to a public shelter: Please see the county’s public shelter policy. To obtain a Polk County Public Shelter Map, visit a Publix Super Market store near you. This can help with finding storm and special shelters.
Emergency Public Shelters
Not all public shelters are automatically activated for each emergency. They are opened as needed and are not pre-assigned by geographic area. During an emergency please monitor Polk County Government Television (PGTV), this website, social media and other local television and radio stations for open shelter information. Have your seven-day survival kit ready to take with you.

Weapons and alcoholic beverages are not allowed at any public shelter.
