A Seaside Gem

Great house with beautiful views and excellent location for the beach and many other activities. Very clean, well stocked and comfortable. Professional, friendly, helpful and honest property owners. I highly recommend this as a spring, summer or fall rental.

A Great Place to Stay Down the Shore

We had the pleasure of staying here for Memorial Day week. We were back in NJ for a wedding and decided to rent a house on the beach for the week. When we found this gem we knew it would be perfect. Since the water is rather cold in early June we wanted access to Jenkinson's. At 9 houses from the boardwalk, this was a perfect fit for both ourselves and our teens. You can tell the family who owns it takes great pride in the property. It was super clean, meticulously maintained inside and out, and well stocked with everything you would want in a rental. There was no shortage of dishes and glassware and the cabinets had all the cookware and utensils you need. Outdoor furniture was plentiful and the clean grill with a full tank of gas was definitely put to good use during our stay. From the moment we booked it Candice was a fantastic communicator and when we arrived Paul was right there to make sure we had everything we needed. If you find this house with an open week, DO NOT hesitate to pull the trigger; you will not be disappointed. It is everything you think a great beach house should be!

Perfect Beach House 2023

Had an amazing time staying at Candace’s beach house on the boardwalk. Check in was super easy and Candace even let us know we can check in a few hours early. The house was clean and stocked with everything you would need for a week getaway. (Except sheets and towels but Candace recommended a place to rent linens from). Candace and her brother, Paul were responsive and there for us in the event we needed anything. The house was in a great location about 8 houses down from the boardwalk. It came with two parking spots which was great. The house is also right next to a few restaurants including a great breakfast/sub place and an amazing local coffee shop that you can just walk to. The Thursday fireworks were right outside the house so we were able to watch them right on the balcony. The house also had a little sand area which we set up a mini pool for my 5 year old son. The mini sand area came in handy for when the beach was closed. Unfortunately it rained a little Sunday morning so the Township closed the beach for the whole day. Also the beach hours are 9-530ish and you can’t walk the beach in the morning or evening. There is no washer/dryer in the unit , but there’s a laundry mat in walking distance. There are two bedrooms with queen beds down so takes and one upstairs with a queen bed. There are also two full bathrooms on each level each with a bathtub. My only complaint which is a personal preference was that the pillows were big and firm and hurt my neck a bit.

Great property and wonderful hosts!

We just got back today from our trip. We had a blast and absolutely loved staying at this house. The location was amazing - especially with kids. Easy access to the boardwalk and the views of ocean could not be beat. Loved having a little sandy area in the yard. We spent a lot of time there. The family who own the property were wonderful and easy to communicate with. We enjoyed seeing Paul, one of the siblings, at check in, check out and a few times during the week. It was nice to ask him questions about the area and just know that he's near by if anything were to go wrong. Thankfully, we had a terrific week with no issues. The house was clean when we arrived and I really have no complaints about it. It was actually a bit more spacious than I envisioned from the photos online. It was the perfect size for my family (3 adults and 2 kids). One downside - no laundry at the house. BUT there was a laundry mat right outside the unit. Surprisingly we didn't have to use it, however it was nice to know it was there. I appreciated the little bagel/coffee shop next to It as well. We met some really nice people during our stay in the neighborhood! With all of this said, the house and hosts were amazing and we were very happy with our stay. Point pleasant has changed a bit from what I remember and I was bummed we could not access the beach early in the morning and later in the evening. I really like to take early/late walks on the sand and unfortunately they lock up the beach gates, making it very hard to find a way on. We made the most of it but it was a little disappointing. Other than that, great property and we feel beyond blessed to have made such precious memories here! Thank you!!

Perfect house

I rented this house with my husband and three small children. The location is perfect. Very short walk down the boardwalk to the beach which made lunches, naps, and bathroom trips so easy. No need to hop in your car and go anywhere as many restaurants, rides, games, etc are a short walk away. The house itself was very clean upon arrival. Cadence was quick to respond to any and all inquiries prior to arrival. This house was perfect for our family vacation and I would definitely recommend this house to anyone else, especially with young children.

Great place to stay with family

We had a wonderful stay at this gem of a shorehouse! Check in was a cinch, and the place was immaculate. The location is ideal for going to the beach or walking on the boardwalk, and our kids loved the proximity to the aquarium. Our first night was a little noisy due to it being a Saturday night and the house being close to Tiki Bar, but with the bedrooms being in the rear, our kids had no issues sleeping through. We sat out front and listened to the music and watched the boardwalk walkers, all in all a very relaxing way to spend our vacation. Candace was highly responsive, and a pleasure to work with. We were so sad to leave and our kids already want to go back!

Absolutely Perfect!!!!

I cannot say enough about our wonderful stay at this beautiful house. From the start the owner was delightful to work with. She was easily accessible and very informative. She made everything very easy from directions, check-in, explanations for appliances, air-conditioning, etc. The house is absolutely beautiful and immaculate, the location perfect; right on the boardwalk and easily accessible to the attractions but far enough away that we felt that our privacy was protected. There are two balconies, one facing the ocean and the other on the opposite side of the building. It worked out perfectly for alternating between sun and shade. The patio has an area beyond it with sand; it's a nice touch for people with young ones who want to play in the sand without actually going to the beach. The house is beautifully decorated with comfortable furniture and some lovely art pieces. The kitchen is well stocked with small appliances and dishes, glasses, etc. The bedrooms were a good size and there are 2 full baths, both with tubs and showers. We had a great time and definitely look forward to going back again and again!

Amazing week

What a wonderful week. I can’t recommend this place enough. First the house was impeccable. We felt comfortable from the first moment. The weather wasn’t the best but boy oh boy did the week turnout to be amazing. If you are looking for an oceanfront place to stay don’t look any further. We felt so comfortable and at home.

Perfect beach vacation

Everything was great! The house was clean, cozy and comfortable. Everything was exactly as described. The location is perfect, as close to the beach as you can get and the views are amazing. Candace was easy to communicate with and very prompt and professional.

Great place and great week!

Great experience overall, Candace was prompt and easy to get a hold of. The house was perfect for us; just close enough to walk easily to the beach and boardwalk, but far enough that you don’t have all the noise and foot traffic. Definitely planning to stay here again!

Outstanding Property, Location and Property Owner

This was, simply the best rental property experience I have had. The home itself is very nice and the location is fantastic. But the best aspect of this rental was Candace’s communication, updates and preparation approaching the rental time. We were very well-taken care of. I highly recommend Candace and this property.

Bad Beach Weather!!

We chose this property because it has a view of the ocean and beach. It is walking distance to restaurants, amusements, and boat watching. Unfortunately, the weather was very bad for the week and we did not enjoy our stay, but the home was very cozy and a great location.

Easy Breezy Lovely Ocean Front Stay
