A lovely vacation house
Our family of three (including a 2.5 year old daughter) thoroughly enjoyed Bea's Hamptons house for a week this summer. The house is well appointed, very comfortable, and conveniently located. My wife enjoys cooking and she loved being in the kitchen, which features a pro-grade Viking stove and ventilation hood. We shared many meals at the large dining table in the kitchen and on the sizable deck immediately outside (that has a traditional charcoal BBQ).
The private backyard setting, with tall green trees and lush flower bushes, is sure to provide solitude that transports you far away. The unheated pool is large and has abundant lounge chairs and tables around its perimeter. There are ample pool toys, rafts, "river tubes" etc. The house is set up for outdoor entertaining as well under a pergola by the pool that has a large dining table, a separate seating area for drinks or lounging, and a gas powered grill.
The house has Sonos speakers in the living room and bedroom, which is a very cool feature. Using my iPhone, I was able to select and play music from my phone or via Internet services (i.e. Pandora) in those rooms.
Also the house has some excellent childproof features for travelers like us with toddlers, including a plexiglass shield preventing child access to the indoor entrance staircase and a safety gate that keeps little ones from leaving the deck area outside (i.e. to the pool). We highly recommend staying at Bea's house and look forward to visiting again soon.
P.S. for your information, the house's VRBO listing description is accurate, the listing photos accurately reflect the rental’s appearance & amenities, we found the property to be clean and well-maintained, and the Owner was helpful in answering our questions/concerns.
