Bienvenido a The Governor's Collection - Anchor Point Apartments; un desarrollo económico de estilo condominio ubicado en el corazón de Governor's Harbour, Eleuthera. El complejo consta de dos edificios: uno contiene 2 apartamentos de una habitación y dos apartamentos estándar de dos habitaciones, mientras que el otro contiene 2 suites de apartamentos de dos habitaciones más grandes. Todas las unidades están construidas con balcones exteriores cubiertos que ofrecen fantásticas vistas de Anchor Bay.

Nuestros apartamentos están ubicados en el vibrante corazón de Governor's Harbour, una ubicación privilegiada para explorar Central Eleuthera. Estamos a una cuadra de la histórica Biblioteca Haynes, y a menos de 1/4 de milla de Cupid's Cay, hogar de los Aventureros Eleutheran, y el sitio del primer Parlamento de las Bahamas en 1746.

Todos los viernes por la noche hay una excelente vida nocturna de las Bahamas en la fritura de pescado Anchor Bay, a pocos pasos de los apartamentos. Aquí puede probar comida bahameña preparada localmente, incluida la ensalada de concha, pescado frito, pollo a la parrilla, macarrones con queso y guisantes y arroz. Nuestro lugar está a poca distancia de las tiendas de alimentos locales, bancos (2 con cajeros automáticos), cafeterías, tiendas de regalos y más. Pero, si realmente desea explorar la isla, lo mejor es alquilar un automóvil. ¡Hay infinitas playas solitarias a lo largo de la isla, esperando ser exploradas!

A wonderful and beautifully decorated apartment, well maintained with lovely sea views in town of Governors Harbor. Well located and a just a short drive to the towns restaurants, shops and amenities. Dom and Joy the property managers were amazing and super responsive and even went above and beyond when I left something behind in the property to ensure the item was returned to me.

The Heart of Governor's Harbour

We had an absolutely beautiful time. We had everything we needed with us, but it was nice they stocked the fridge with some extra Kaliks and provided all the information we needed to get around to all the sites. The hosts are very helpful so make sure you ask for whatever you need. We only wished we had another week there!

Little slice of paradise!

Amazing and spacious apartment. Even better than the pictures. Had everything you needed for the kitchen and beach and more. Stores nearby. Great restaurants - Buccaneers, Tippy’s and Bougainvillea were our favorites. Several beaches a short drive away. Joy and Dom were great hosts and had great suggestions. Would stay here again.

Overall, I enjoyed the layout of the house. I do not think it should an expectation to replace toilet paper and paper towels. This is a first for me. The location was convenient but a bit noisy.

Convenient location - lovely apartment

My cousin sailed in and anchored in the bay within full view of the large covered porch. Great location for walking Governor's Harbour for groceries and meals of all sorts. Apartment is very comfortable, with great soundproofing that silenced the music from the Friday Fish Fry that was too blocks away when we decided to retire early. Kitchen was well equipped to transform our leftovers from a local restaurant into another lovely dinner. Convenient location for day trips to several beaches, the native plant gardens, and other must-see sights on the island. And, most importantly, very nice bathrooms and bedding to ensure that we could clean up and recharge for our days of exploring the island. We never used the TV, but the internet worked well and the ample generator kept us comfortable when the rest of the community lost power.

Nice inside but…

Located in very noisy neighborhood, roosters at daybreak, local hangout across the street, so screeching tires, loud music etc. The apartment is spacious and bright so the noise nuisance is a shame. IKEA mattress, bed pillows etc are pretty beat up and need replacing as well as the noisy vibrating AC in the master. Dom and Joy did their best to accommodate and though we wouldn’t settle in this one again they do have other nice properties.

The property itself is beautiful. Very clean, modern and it gives you a island feel. It’s also close to many restaurants, bars and other things within walking distance to do. My only issue is that in front of the bay view mentioned there is a cemetery, yes a graveyard right in the back of the property. So this property overlooks a graveyard and the bay. Also, it’s location isn’t in the best looking neighborhood. I hated the actual location of the property. The pictures don’t disclose these things. Nevertheless, the property was beautiful.

Best stay in Governors Harbour!

We had a great stay! The condo itself is absolutely beautiful and right close to everything you could need. It also has all the amenities you could possible need, including lounge chairs! Joy was so helpful and friendly even when we arrived two hours earlier than we should have. We recommend the Friday Night Fish Fry, but no more than two rum bubbas! We loved walking the town each morning, picking up our groceries from the local store and our Sands beer. Also, check out the snack truck located by burrows - best smoothies & food! The island is friendly and beautiful!

Fantastic property in a great location

We loved staying at the Governor’s Harbour Apartment. It was very tastefully decorated, very clean and has everything you could need on a holiday. They gave great directions for nice beaches and restaurants in the area. We really enjoyed going to the Friday night Fish Fry which is only a few minutes walk from the property, which is great after a few Rum Bubas! Fantastic views to sit and watch when relaxing at the apartment. Lots of entertainment on TV and Netflix etc when you’re exhausted from a day at the beach. Dom and Joy are great hosts who would do anything to make our stay easy. Highly recommend staying here and would stay again.

Unbelievable stay in Eleuthera

My daughter and I traveled to Eleuthera for spring break. Dom met us at the apartment and showed us around the property. Joy stopped in the next day to see how we were getting along and brought us a sweet treat. Joy made some great suggestions for places to dine. The apartment is just as pictured, it is bright, spacious, clean, and would work well for our entire family of five. It was nice to sit on the deck and enjoy my mimosa in the morning and look out over the water. The showers and entire bathrooms were nice and big too. The layout of the apartment was perfect! Some places we enjoyed eating were: Buccaneer Club, ‘da Perk, Frigates Bar and Grill and Tippy’s were some of our favorites. Lighthouse beach was worth the road trip, it was gorgeous! We can’t wait to bring our whole family down to Eleuthera next visit.

Ideal!

Our first time to the Bahamas and Eleuthra set the bar, and more specifically Governors Harbour. The apartment is well designed, refreshing, and clean. The view is breath taking. The town is charming and the locals are kind (including the animals!). We loved walking around and catching the sunset on Cupids Cay. The fish fry was a blast! Joy and Dom are knowledgeable and the customer service is top notch. We hated to leave, but know we will be back.

Beautiful Condo

The place was lovely, with beautiful views. We loved sitting on the porch overlooking the "boneyard" and Caribbean Sea. The condo was well furnished, very clean and comfortable. It exceeded our expectations. We will definitely stay here on our return to the island. Very impressed!! We were greeted upon arrival by Dominic and Joy who were there to answer any questions and were very friendly. We'll be back!!!

Great condo, almost new.

Joy and Dom were wonderful hosts, helpful not only with the lodgings, but with whatever else we needed. The place is almost new and most items have never been used. It feels larger than the photos lead you to expect, probably due to a good design. Parking is at the door, very quiet for sleeping, even the local roosters are respectful and don' t start until 8:00. It is in town and you can walk to two grocery stores, a coffee shop, a bakery, and with just a bit more effort to the Buccaneer, which is a must for lunch or dinner. I would choose it again.
