Oceanfront 5th-floor condo with balcony, gorgeous views & pool access

Enjoy beautiful sunrises in this luxurious, oceanfront condo, where you'll be treated to unobstructed views of the Atlantic Ocean from the fifth floor.

This complex is located right next door to the Ritz-Carlton of Amelia Island. As you enter the condo, you'll be greeted by an open living and dining area with views of the ocean, a well-equipped kitchen with a breakfast bar, and two sets of sliding glass doors that lead outside to the balcony - one set in the living area and one in the primary bedroom.

The primary bedroom features an open closet and a private bathroom with a walk-in shower and a separate tub. The guest bedrooms also have private bathrooms.

THINGS TO KNOW
There is a large scale state mandated construction project at this association causing noise, loss of pool amenity and workers on property.
Only Saturday-to-Saturday weekly rentals are allowed from June through mid-August.

Great pre holiday trip

Great experience start to finish. The condo is lovely and VERY well appointed with all you could ask for. So many pots and pans and dishes we could have prepared food for a small army (and served them). Had an interesting issue with the cable box that the rental company did their best to address quickly. And the only odd thing was that even though it’s a non-smoking condo the towels that were hung up in the bathroom all smelled vaguely of cigarette smoke. We were able to find some under cabinets that didn’t smell and washed the rest and that solved it. Minor issue and we solved it easily. We would definitely rent this condo again!

Second stay at this property—lovely

Second time staying in 56 Ocean Place! Very nicely appointed kitchen with an absolute abundance of outlets and charging stations. TV is great size and with excellent service. Views are spectacular! Bathrooms all newly appointed and “fresh”. Linens all very clean and fresh. Beds/ mattresses/pillows in excellent condition. Could use a few more towels in master. Needed to adjust ventilation for master to get good air circulation but after we did that it was great. Location is FANTASTIC with a pool right below the unit and the beach just a short walk down the boardwalk. Balcony is enormous and so open feeling! This unit is on a particularly nice stretch of Fernandina beach… parking is no problem. Can walk to Ritz Carlton for a variety of restaurant options. Customer service with Amelia Rentals is OUTSTANDING! Incredibly friendly and attentive to every request— they far exceed the norm in terms of customer service! Thank you!

Great Stay

Great location. Very clean unit. We have stayed at many beach rentals and this one by far has EVERYTHING! There were cleaning supplies, detergents (for dishwashing, dishwasher, and laundry), many hooks for drying wet items and a couple drying racks, charging ports in all the bedrooms, nice set of pots, pans, dishes, and silverware (all organized neatly), not a bunch of mismatched stuff thrown together. THANK YOU!

Lovely & Quiet Beach Escape

The condo was clean and the perfect layout for our vacation. The 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms worked out well for us and allowed everyone their own space. We enjoyed the balcony overlooking the ocean. The sound of the waves was lovely. The beach itself was perfect for walking and shell collecting, but the water during our trip was too cold and mostly choppy for swimming. There were also MANY jellyfish collected on the beach. We didn't really see anyone in the water during our stay; mostly sunbathing, walking and playing. The only thing we would have liked was a BBQ area/built-in grill and/or fire pit. Otherwise, perfect for us.

Fantastic, updated condo in a perfect location

Reviewer Comments: The condo was remarkably well appointed with multiple electronic charging stations in every room, TVs in every room, plus a 50”+ TV in living room, strong wifi, brochures for local tours/ activities, abundant linens/ bedding, comfortable seating for 6 adults, and a nice arrangement of bed options. The kitchen was remarkably well stocked with everything you would need to cook for a family of 6+—pots, pans, appliances, serving ware, intensils, baking pans, carving knife set, etc. A generous starter supply of paper goods and soaps was provided. The kitchen is in excellent condition and fully updated, as are each of the 3 full baths. Unit was extremely clean with no evidence of prior guests. Corner balcony is spacious and provided a panoramic view of the ocean/ coast— quick and easy access to the pool and beach. Beach is pristine and wonderful for the kids, especially at low tide. So nice to be located right next to the Ritz restaurants/bar, too. Rental agency was readily available for questions and there were no difficulties at all with accessing the unit. Master bed is a bit too hard/ unyielding, like a tempurpedic. The common living space/ dining area is a bit tight for 6 adults but the deck and the size of the bedrooms compensates for this. Would be nice if beach gear could be stored in the unit’s storage closet instead of inside the condo to cut down on clutter. Overall one of the nicest all around condos and rental companies we have worked with on Amelia Island. I would stay at any Amelia Rental property in the future!
