Bright & sunny oceanfront getaway with central AC & pool

This is an oceanfront flat with combined living and dining areas, plus an oceanfront patio and a fully equipped kitchen, with views all around. The primary bedroom has sliding doors that lead to your oceanfront patio and your primary bath has a walk-in shower. The queen guest room shares a bath (tub/shower combo) with the twin guest bedroom. Sailmaker is a quiet family and group-friendly development with a beautiful lawn area for playing or relaxing with a pretty pool area. The owners of this condo are members of the private Golf Club and Beach Club of Amelia Island. Not all property owners are members of this exclusive resort and club. Guests of this home can enjoy access to these resort amenities which include the private and gated Beach Club of Amelia Island, the oceanfront pool, the Beach Club bar and grill, lighted tennis courts, and access to the beautiful oceanfront golf course at the Ritz Carlton (at significant discounts to standard greens fees).

THINGS TO KNOW
The owners of this condo are members of the private Golf Club & Beach Club. Guests can enjoy the resort amenities which include:
• Private Pool - Non Heated note: no fitness club access
• Tennis & Pickle Ball Courts - MUST call the club to schedule court time
• Private Beach Area-5000 Summer Beach Blvd complimentary towels, chairs/umbrellas small fee. Food & Beverage concession. (Memorial Day - Labor Day)
• Access to the Ritz Carlton's beautiful oceanfront golf course: Must call to schedule tee time.
• The Amenity card fee is $125 + tax and applicable fees.
• Amenity Cards must be purchased, activated and obtained through the local Amelia Office.

Great location! We love Summer Beach and have stayed in this complex many times. We didn’t mind that the unit was outdated but the cracked & loose tiles in the kitchen should be replaced. Not safe for crawling little ones.

Great stay

Condo comfortable and well stocked. Great beach and deck. Nice pool. Very enjoyable stay, only problem while at beach entry code changed with no heads up. Lady on phone very helpful getting us in.

Old fashioned comfort

We absolutely loved the location and ground floor layout right on the beautiful green lawn! My only recommendation would be maybe updating the kitchen and living room. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay regardless!❤️❤️

Great location for the beach, needs some maintenance

Had maintenance issues which should have been uncovered with an inspection prior to our entering Saturday. Quick response by Mgr. on Monday. Quiet and relaxing, beach & outdoor property well maintained. Easy access to downtown Fernandina. 10-15 minute ride to Publix and restaurants.

Condo needs to update their appliances and mattresses

This condo was clean but outdated compared to other places we have stayed for the price. The location was fine; however, there is no privacy when sitting outside on the patio. Everyone going to the beach, pool, or walking their dog passes within 15 feet of the patio. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained.

And the restaurants, both downtown and on the beach were terrific! We were as busy as we wanted to be, one afternoon, we sat on the lawn while the grandkids napped. People in the area are so friendly. We all had a fabulous time! I fell in love with this unit and the island, we will return.

Gorgeous view of the beach!

Before check-in, we were moved to Ocean Place condo #81 due to a broken washer at the original booking. Amelia Rentals quickly and effectively resolved every concern. The condo was well equipped ~ the owners thought of everything! The view was spectacular and the sound of the ocean was soothing. We were just steps away from the beach, and could enjoy the ocean from the shade provided by the covered, comfortable and roomy balcony. We notified the rental company about a water leak under the carpet in front of the Master closet. We kept putting down towels thinking it was a spill of some sort. Overall, we were very pleased!

The location could not have been better, a walk directly out our door over dunes to beach. The pool was directly out our door in opposite direction. The condo was spotless. The kitchen had everything and I mean everything one needs. There are some tired issues however I cannot complain. The beds and linens were excellent. And that means a lot to me. Love Sailmaker complex.

It’s a first floor unit with a large grassy area leading to the boardwalk. Our boys enjoyed playing ball and we enjoyed the ocean view. As advertised, it’s not a premier property, but it is a very spacious unit. It doesn’t have all the new updates in finishings but it has very comfortable beds. That’s a major plus. Also, the patio is very long with a full size table, a couple wicker settees and a small table and chairs. You can easily entertain outside. We enjoyed the amenities card we purchased as well. I’d definitely rent this unit again.
