Updated Townhome near the Ocean w/Private Patio, Shared Pool, Central A/C

Summerwoods is a gated community with each guest having their own driveway to park one car. This ground-floor townhouse has all new furniture and stainless steel appliances in the kitchen. The fully-equipped kitchen also boasts a Keurig coffee maker and a toaster oven/convection oven. The back screened-in concrete porch has a bistro table with two chairs. The guest bedroom is towards the front of the townhome and has one full over full bunk bed and twin trundle. There is a bathroom with a walk-in shower next door to the guest bedroom, not connected. The primary bedroom is towards the back of the townhome (off of the living room) and has one queen size bed with a large primary bathroom attached. The main bath has a step-down walk-in shower.

Things to Know
There is a short 0.4-mile walk on pathway to get to the beach.
There are two beach chairs and one beach umbrella with a sand base screw available
There is an active surveillance camera on site.
There is a Blu-Ray/DVD player in the living room (and Amazon Prime movies)

Awesome Place

We loved the unit and the quietness of the development. It’s in a great location on the island. The only thing we would have preferred is to have a king bed in the master. Everything worked great and was in absolute perfect condition. We would love to stay here again.

Lovely Stay On Lovely Amelia Island

The property management is amazing and very helpful! They were always quick to reply. The owners of this property also have a nice condo and have stocked it well. This is the perfect place to stay if you're looking for a family vacation or romantic getaway. My husband and I stayed here for a business trip and we could come back to the rental at night and pretend we were really on vacation instead 🌞❤

Everything as advertised! Enjoyed our stay at Summerwoods 1503. Beautiful condo with plenty of space and all the necessities that could be needed. Perfect for our family with two teenage children. Love the peace and quite of the complex and being able to have the great pool to yourselves is awesome. Highly recommend!

great place

The condo was beautiful the property was very nice and very quite, location was great the only problem that we had was when we got ready for bed we found that the sheets had not been changed on two of the beds so we were washing and drying sheets at 11:00 pm. This was not the owners fault and there home was very very nice, i would stay there again.

The apartment was very good and appeared to be new. The check in came with all manner of helpful information but there was one small but critical omission - guess what? The address. It was described as 1503 Summerwoods. This is nothing close to being the address and wasted a lot of time

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This home is in a beautiful, quiet, private community that is a short walk to the beach! Everything you need for a pleasant stay awaits in this beautiful home! We walked everyday on the many paths surrounding the location and on the beach, went kayaking and took a boat tour of Fernandina and Cumberland Island. Downtown Fernandina is a short drive and has fun shops and great restaurants - Ciao and Peppers Restaurants have the best food! The management company are responsive and professional. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning to Amelia Island and Fernandina Beach very soon!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The rental is clean and pretty. However, there are a few things that will prevent us from staying there again. The master bed was more uncomfortable than any place we have ever stayed and the pillows were paper thin. The water smelled so badly of sulfur our first couple days that we could not drink the water or brush our teeth with it either. Also, while the place and furnishings are beautiful, the kitchen ware is extremely limited and not decent quality.

Wonderful townhouse

When entering the house we were more or less blown away. Amazing view of the livingroom and kitchen, Master perfect. Second bedroom OK, we did not really use it, except for the desk as working station. Both bath good. And the fullyt equipped kitchen!! We have never stayed in a better equipped kitchen, everything ws there and in perfect order. We only found one wineglass, text the agent and two hours later, we had a six pack delivered at our doorstep! Fantastic! Ir we must find something to complain about, it is the fryeing pans, but never mind, it worked. If or when we go back to Amelia Island, this is the place to stay! No doubt! Also a star to the owners who had decorated the house with a certain personly touch. Impressing!

Enjoyable stay on Amelia Island

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This beautiful new condo, is tastefully decorated and has everything you need for a relaxing stay. The condo is a short walk to the beach, and within a bike ride to Harris Teeters. It offers a great layout and is quite roomy. The beds are very comfortable. Cute outdoor space, along with easy access to an outdoor pool if you like more sun. The condo is perfectly clean and very well maintained. All the furnishings are new, as well as everything in the kitchen. We would love to return, and would recommend to friends and family. We have been wintering on Amelia Island for 6 years, and some of our favorites are visiting downtown and the Farmers Market for fresh shrimp, biking the island pathways, walking the beach, a walk at Egans Greenway, looking for shark teeth at the Fort Clinch, walking at Little Talbot Island. We enjoyed riding our bikes to Sand Dollar for lunch on the patio, and a great meal at The Marina.

Beautiful condo with great access to pool & beach

This condo is beautiful! It is close to the pool, pathway to the beach access & front gate. It was outfitted with just enough “starter items” to get us through a long weekend. The only suggestion I have for the property owner is to add a tv in the other bedrooms. I gave 4 stars for cleanliness bc I do not believe it was mopped before we arrived. After showering and walking around inside for a couple hours, our feet were quite dirty and had to be washed. I will message the management group about this so they can address it with the cleaning staff. I gave 4 stars for the check-in process because we had to go to the management property’s office, which isn’t in the complex with the condo, to pick up entry instructions. The instructions could have been emailed, texted, messaged through the app or phoned to me. There wasn’t any need to pick up a single piece of paper. Had there been a key, I would understand, but this was a sheet of paper with instructions. This condo overall was wonderful. We couldn’t have asked for more. We loved it and I hope to return soon! I definitely recommend staying here.
