Nice location; short walk to the beach

Ocean village is convenient as it is a short walk to the beach and a few nice restaurants and cafes nearby. The condo is in need of some updating, but overall is worth the price.

Great condo!

This was a beautiful condo within walking distance to the beach. The 2 pools were excellent, our 3 year old really enjoyed them.

Clean condo, supplied well. Pool on site closed at 8:30, not great for an active family. Pool security would not let you throw a ball in the pool, even if it was just your family there, unused tennis courts could not be used for pickleball.Cond itself I recommend, condo facility I would reconsider if you have teenagers

Terrible! I chose a budget rental for a quick getaway. It was filthy! It’s an old building (another mistake of my choosing), but it is possible to be old and CLEAN. In the first 30 mins, I found fake fingernails, hair galore, and trash on the floor. My child’s feet were black just in that short time. We had to pack up and leave for a hotel because we couldn’t get another condo same-day so our entire trip was adversely affected. I had already picked up groceries for cooking during our stay and we lost a lot of perishables having only a mini fridge and the cooler we had to buy. We had to eat out every meal. Never again will I trust a booking through Vacasa.

2nd stay here

We were here a year ago for our daughter's wedding. We returned for an early family holiday. This is on the 3rd floor, it gets tiring after awhile, and we are in our 50's and fit. We bring the dog, tiring for her too. We love this place for the view and the close proximity to the beach. It is very quiet here. Don't bring a rowdy bunch. Lots of dogs. Heated pool is open. Slower pace around the condo complex and close to lots of restaurants and shopping. We saw the Christmas lights in town-fun! Distilleries give free tasting tours. Things to bring; salt/pepper, sugar, extra toilet paper, pump hand soap, towels, beach chairs and beach towels.

Wonderful location

We loved the location of this condo and having our dog on vacation was wonderful. This location is south of st Augustine and we loved the low key feel but enjoyed being close enough to down town to easily get there too. We found the locals to be so kind and quick to give recommendations. This property does have a few issues that need attention and we shared them with vacasa so hopefully they will be addressed before the next renters. Check-in instructions included 6 different codes for the front gate. None of them worked and the rental office on site opened the gate for us. If you are arriving after hours confirm you have the correct access code bc this was a frustration for us (and the cars waiting behind us at the gate). After initial entry you use the key card with no problems. The pool that is near the tennis courts (not the beach) was heated during our stay and a lovely temperature. The beach is wide and beautiful with a short walk from the condo. You can also park a bit closer which we did a few times because we were carrying surfboards and fishing rods. You need the key card to get on/off the beach and the pool. We had a wonderful vacation…everything will be 5 for the next guests if the issues vacasa has been made aware of are addressed. Thank you so much for sharing your property!

Great Vacation

This property was awesome! The room was very clean and tidy. I received a message upon arrival asking about the cleanliness of the condo. It was VERY clean. The Condo looked exactly like the pictures. We had a view of one of the available pools, shuffle boards, and tennis court. The condo had all the necessities for cooking, towels, wash clothes, trial size toiletries, and starters for dishwasher and washing machine. They provided beach chairs, umbrella, and boogie boards in case you didn't bring them. The unit is on the 3rd floor so of course at first you are out of breath but then you get used to it. A downfall but not a deal breaker was that it was a good little hike to the beach. If you are a pool lover, its perfect. We do prefer the beach, but we made it happen. They do have a pool monitor the entire time the pool is open. Make note, they do close the pool at dusk! The gate is locked. The entire place shuts down at dark. Its a good thing to keep the rift-raft under control since there are those that live there full time. For those families that have kids that like to swim after dinner to get a few extra minutes in the pool, its disappointing. The grounds are very well kept! We will definitely stay at this complex again. We will probably try a unit closer to the beach. You will not be disappointed with this unit!
