Family Vacation

Everything about Cinnamon Shores was awesome. This is definitely Resort quality. The property was very clean and well kept.and provided all the amenities we needed. I do have to say the disadvantage of staying in this townhouse on level 1 is the sound of a heard of elephants above us every night that didn’t stop until around midnight.

A Fantastic Vacation Rental

The condo is beautifully decorated and conveniently located near one of the pools, the dog park and a large green space where they had movies for kids and live music. The condo was clean and even though it’s “pet friendly” it does NOT have a dog smell. We would definitely recommend this condo to other guests!

Kitchen appliances were very well stocked with everything we could need plus some. The condo was more than enough space for our family even with 3 boys, 7, 4, and almost 1. We enjoyed sitting on the patio at night being able to watch the kids play in the green space. You will not regret staying here!

Great time, questionable construction

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved our time in cinnamon shore. We had a blast and will definitely be back. That being said, the particular condo we stayed in had some questionable construction. Shower door wasn’t installed properly, main handle to the condo consistently came off, the dishwasher wasn’t installed properly (at an angle so any time opened it would all slide out). The dresser in the kids room wasn’t anchored to the wall so it fell over on my son twice. However, we had such a fun time in the neighborhood despite these kinda whacky house things, we were too busy to even text the main line to tell them. The customer service at the front desk is great and the activities in the neighborhood ... it was just very clearly a rental property.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our 6th time to stay at a condo at Cinnamon Shore. Six different condos over the past three years. This condo was fine - comfortable, spacious, nicely decorated. But was my least favorite that we've stayed in for several reasons: (1) the wifi connection was bad and we had bad reception on our phone, (2) the patio was dirty / not cleaned-up upon arrival, (3) window coverings were not sufficient to keep light out, (4) the bunk bed had some issues (top rail was loose and also, if you wanted to sleep on the top bunk, you would bonk your head on the ceiling - not comfortable for an adult), (5) sometimes these condos have extras in the kitchen - i.e., salt & pepper, PAM spray, coffee filters. This one did not.Overall, this property was good... but not great (like the other condos we've stayed in at Cinnamon Shore).

A lot of walking, and my husband heard an alarm go off in the morning. So unfortunately if we stay here again it will not be in a condo. We did mention it to management.

One call to maintenance and the rapidly replaced batteries that were causing a repeated beeping on the AC unit, professional and courteous technician. The master bed mattress needs to be replaced. This is a great unit across from the main social area in CS North.

We ended up needing a last-minute getaway and loved that they had pet-friendly stays so we could bring our dogs. The condo where we stayed was clean and had a lovely beach decor. We ended up going here off-season, which we love because it's less crowded and there are no lines for the restaurants that are within the complex. We also checked out the pool which was gorgeous. We loved that the beach was just a short walk away and that there were always Cinnamon Shores cars around monitoring the complex. The only drawback to our vacation were all the jellyfish that were washing up onshore, but that's just nature and not the fault of this complex. But we really enjoyed our stay and we will be back soon!

Fun Winter Getaway

We rented a golf cart for a couple of days to explore the beach and to use the heated pool at Cinnamon Shore South. We basically had the place to ourself. It was the perfect way to end our holidays.

Stay at TC 10102

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: TC 10102 was a cute condo and spacious enough for two adults and two children. However, when we started using the condo, there were several things that needed to be addressed. The top bunk bed’s top railing was loose, so it was not used. The coffee maker did not work. The water pressure in the kitchen was non existent. The master toilet was loose from both the wall as well as the floor. The ice maker did not work, and while there was a counter ice maker, it was not sufficient for four people. The last three days, the front door handle would come off every time we would exit the premises. We also had to get help with the main TV in the living room for it could not connect to the internet. The golf cart would get stuck in neutral for it would not switch over to reverse and would take several attempts for that to kick in. I put two calls in, and after I left the second message, I received a text about maintenance coming out, but never received a call from the front desk to address the issues over the phone. When maintenance arrived, they verified that the ice maker wasn’t working. They said they would have two bags of ice sent over which never arrived. They had housekeeping bring another coffee maker. They verified that their was virtually no water coming from the kitchen sink. Issue was never found while we were there but they suspected hot water tank maybe going out after a second maintenance man showed up. Toilet was not fixed, but we asked for them not to while we were there. Front handle wasn’t addressed while we were there. They were able to get the main TV connected to the internet.The staff at the front could have been more interactive with the issues. Their people skills fell short and they seemed not interested in reaching out in person which would have been nice since there were multiple problems. Addressing issues via text was far from professional.

Pros: Really enjoyed the location at town center and walking distance to the Dune Pool! Very convenient for bringing our dog and easily taking her out. Home is very well decorated, though quite a bit of furniture is different than pictured in the listing, it is still comparable. Kitchen is thoughtfully well stocked with all of the dishes, appliances and utensils we needed. Cons: Smelled like smoke upon entry into the home. Maintenance came by and tried to say it was probably just the cleaning girl smelling like smoke while in the unit. We had a 4-month-old with us so very disappointed to smell smoke. We washed all of our clothes before leaving and were excited to get home with clean laundry only to then get home to all of our “clean” clothes reeking of cigarette smoke. Without this, I would recommend this property to a friend, however I'm torn with the smoke smell issue. I'm not sure if it was a one time thing due to the people who stayed there before us or what.Very noisy hearing 2nd floor guests walking on ceiling. Not the owner’s fault and nothing that can be done about this but just something to be aware of! Overall we still preferred being on the first floor as it was convenient to take our dog out to potty.Kitchen sink water pressure was a trickle (bathrooms were OK). General Feedback: I think it would be appropriate for property management to provide a laundry pod and dishwasher pod for each day of your stay. We had a 5 night stay and ran the dishwasher every night. We did not have enough dishwasher pods to run the dishwasher upon checking out as requested. Same with the laundry pods but I had brought extra of those.A “nice to have” would be black out curtains in the two bedrooms as it is VERY bright from the town center lights that stay on all night. That made it difficult to sleep

Great location and the outdoor showers were convenient coming back from the beach. Our 5.5 year old loved the bunked beds. The dual entry off the master bath was a huge plus considering we had a 1 year old that we’d put to sleep in our room and didn’t have to tiptoe back through the room to access the bathroom while both kids were asleep. Being on the first floor really helped too with small children. Only con was poor cell phone service in the unit. Can’t wait to return to CS!
