"Beach Please!!" is a tranquil 2,094 square foot cul-de-sac situated Family Home managed by Dale and Salt Water Real Estate and is the perfect beach location to bring the ENTIRE family of surfers, sun-seekers and MORE! This secluded 3 bed and 3 bath is just seven blocks from our sandy shores, Downtown CB, CB Lake and MORE... with all the sea sights, sounds and experiences you are looking for!
Your property
Pleasure Island (Carolina Beach, Kure Beach, and Fort Fisher) has become a RAPIDLY increasing vacation (and full-time!) destination for the East coast and beyond for many reasons. It’s a family-oriented beach with a touch of everything one might be looking for!
The home is in the heart of CB and a short walking distance to downtown and everything that is has to offer. In CB you’ve got the boardwalk, restaurants, and local shops of all kinds. If you like adventures, the marina is also there where you can take an offshore fishing trip, diving excursion, or party boat out for a sunset sail. Camping more your thing? Bring the 4X4 and drive (and camp) on the beach at Freeman Park, located on the North End of the island. You can also head down to KB and fish directly off their fishing pier complete with bait, tackles, and more! The CB Lake is nearby, hosting a weekly Farmer’s Market every Saturday and FIREWORKS every Thursday.
This home is a mixture of the original “period” construction and old-world charm, a kiss of shabby-chic modernity, and today’s technology because hey, there’s got to be something for everyone! Everything the owner has done, FUN and guest enjoyment is at the heart of the owners mission for "Beach Please"! Above all else, it should feel like your “home away from home” while vacationing with us on our Island!
The entry to this 3 bedroom/3 bath home opens into a furnished family room, private dining area (with a Piano tuned a ready to riff some "Pirates of the Carribean")and fully equipped kitchen (stove oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, and more). The kitchen is stocked will all the basic cooking and dining utensils one can expect (plates, bowls, cups, silverware, etc.). In addition, there is a microwave, toaster, and coffer maker ready to help make yourself at home.
1 courtesy soap, shampoo and conditioner are left in the bathroom of each home as well as 2 rolls of TP per bath, 1 makeup wipe and one backup toothbrush. 1 roll of paper towel, a sponge, dish soap, 2 trash bags per receptacle and (*as applicable) 3 dishwasher and laundry pods will be available to use if needed!
As you pass the living room and dining room on your left, towards the right awaits a game room complete with foosball and a Pac-Man arcade console because "Beach Please", there's never a dull moment here! You'll find your private patio the perfect backdrop to entertain from your bounty of boardgames, puzzles and misc. goodies are strewn throughout the home! The half bath can be located walking distance from all the action!
Back inside as you continue through the homes central hallway sits the linen closet with a stacked washer and dryer to stay beachy clean! As you continue through the hallway, you first encounter Bedroom #1 with 1 Twin over Full bunk bed. As you continue down the hallway, you'll encounter both bedroom #2 (with a Queen bed) and Full bathroom #1 (with a shower/tub combo) nestled amongst bedrooms #1 and #2. At the end of the hallway rests bedroom #3 (the Master bedroom) with a King size bed, ensuite Full bathroom #2 (with a stand up shower, double vanity and MORE!) and a nice modern juxtaposition!
Out into your private/fully fenced backyard, you're treated to a number of exterior amenities including (but not limited to...) a charcoal BBQ, multiple dining and seating that will surely bring ample smiles and sea memories for all!
The home's ONE QUEEN, ONE KING and ONE TWIN + FULL bunk bed consist of either a plush luxury mattress or a new encased 8” memory foam/cooling gel composition mattress because we want all of our guests to be comfortable when it comes time to recharge.
1 set of the following will be made on a per bed/per person basis to help you be comfortable on your adventure! Bed sheets (fitted/flat set), bath towels, wash cloths, cleaning rags, pillowcases, bathmats and kitchen towels. Laundering or extra sets are not an available service regrettably. Please make sure all used linens are placed in one location in the home at departure. Please let all BED LINENS remain on the beds for our TEAM to take care of! Neighborhood description
Pleasure Island is a coastal barrier island in Southeastern North Carolina, USA just south of the City of Wilmington. Pleasure Island is located within Federal Point Township, in New Hanover County. The coastal resort towns of CB and KB, as well as the annexed communities of Wilmington Beach and Hanby Beach are located on the island. The home itself is 7 blocks away from the ocean, from CB Lake as well as a short walk from Downtown CB with its shops, activities, and dining.
CB is a mix of friendly locals, snowbirds, and vacationers all looking to escape the inland and enjoy the sand, surf, and sun. We truly have an amazing community! CB and the surrounding neighborhoods offer an array of sights and activities to enjoy while here. Some of these examples are (but not limited to) a subtle beach hike through CB State Park, Fishing on the KB Pier, kayaking to one of the many islands surrounding the ICWW, watching canons blast during a historical reenactment at the Fort Fisher State Historic Site, or petting some Sting Rays at the NC Aquarium at Fort Fisher.
Getting around
There isn’t anywhere or anything on our Island that isn’t accessible with foot power. Downtown CB has a number of vendors (such as Pleasure Island Rentals @ 2 N Lake Park Blvd CB NC 28428 (golf carts) and Tony Silvagni’s Surf School @ 107 Charlotte ave CB NC 28428 (bicycles, paddleboards, surfboards, kayaks) for rent as an alternative to walking or driving. Taxi’s (local golf cart taxi’s) and Uber’s are also generally available for an assist when needed as well throughout the island! You can catch a Ferry to Southport in KB @ 2422 Fort Fisher Blvd S KB which leads to another ferry to Bald Head Island where NO CARS are allowed at all!
After all, you won’t catch many locals going OTB! (Over The Bridge). Everything you need is right here!
Guest access
The YARD: The backyard is intended to congregate, BBQ, play, and have a blast.
The HOME: Guests have full access to their own private HOME (never shared) along with a private deck/patio/yard.
PARKING: Each reservation will have access to (2-3) TWO to three assigned parking spaces (depending on vehicle size)!
•Closest BEACH access: Harper Public Beach Access (Harper Ave).
Interaction with guests
I will be available for check-in and general assistance until 8PM EST. Anything with the exception of an emergency (ie. flood, fire, or another *safety* related risk sent to Maintenance) will be responded to ASAP the following day :)

•Salt Water Real Estate has partnered with the absolute best vendors our Island has to offer to help ensure guests can spend more time enjoying themselves and less time researching! Our partners include the Tony Silvagni Surf School for professional surf lessons, bicycle, umbrella and chair rentals, Hot Ticket Fishing Charters, Salty Dog and Dust Busters Cleaning & Linens. Our partners support guests of Salt Water Real Estate with the highest caliber of local services for extremely competitive and oft discounted pricing. They all contribute to the “Salt Water” experience and we <3 them for it!
GOLF CARTS
•To the county, golf carts are considered automobiles. Generally speaking, golf carts are NOT allowed on premises of ANY condo, condotel, or apartment. The same goes for trailers, motorcycles, etc. For SFR’s or properties supporting multiple vehicles, carts should be OK. However, be conscious that few homes have external outlets WITHOUT GFCI’S (which are code by today’s standards). Charging a cart on a GFCI will immediately trip the breaker, resulting in the inability to charge a cart amongst other repercussions. Gas carts will generally be the ideal rental option if in a home whose parking supports such.
•ALL suites are non-smoking (including vaping) and a heavy cleaning/repair charge can result if not adhered to. This includes porches, decks, balconies, and walkways. Please smoke well away from any SWRE property unless willing to risk the potential loss of deposit or more.
•There is a $150 non-refundable pet fee for up to 2 pups.
•April 1st through September 30th, dogs are allowed on the Carolina Beach during restricted hours of BEFORE 9:00 am and AFTER 5:00 pm. On the extreme North End of Carolina Beach, dogs are allowed on leash 24/7 on leash. In Kure Beach, dogs are NOT allowed at any juncture. Fort Fisher allows dogs on leash on the beach 24/7. Please be responsible to follow all town pet ordinances and have an awareness as to which beach you are on at all times!
Pup rules for Pet Friendly homes
Please be a responsible pup owner and protect yourselves and others as may be necessary!
•Pups are NEVER allowed on any furniture.
•Do NOT let your pup bark excessively in any multi-unit environment.
•ALWAYS pick up after your pup IMMEDIATELY after the potty sesh.
