High above the charming village of Stonington, West Cottage is a tiny home with a huge vista. This bright and clean efficiency cottage enjoys grand views of the Deer Island Thoroughfare and beyond to the many islands speckling the harbor. Sip your morning coffee in a lawn chair on the edge of a flourishing organic cut flower garden. Enjoy being in the village and around many galleries, restaurants and novelty shops at this sweet, in-town retreat. West Cottage is just a short stroll or drive to the Isle au Haut Boat Company or Stonington's Sand Beach, the prettiest swimming beach on the island. West Cottage is the perfect place for a person or couple to enjoy bird watching, reading, and relaxing in an affordable fashion. West Cottage has a ¾ bathroom with a shower stall and updated fixtures. There is a full size bed in the common area of the cottage as well as a dining table, a couple of comfortable chairs and a kitchenette to save you from having to eat out every night. Rustic West Cottage is a sister cottage to East Cottage just across the garden, ideal for friends or family members vacationing together. West Cottage is the perfect place to spend some time while in Stonington village. If you are looking for a clean, small, affordable in-town getaway then book some time in this in-town cabin today.

CANCELLATION POLICY
All cancellations must be in writing and received by Agent. Cancellations may only be made between the date that a reservation deposit is received and a date determined to be 45 days prior to the tenants scheduled arrival date. Cancelations within 45 days of arrival will not result in a refund in whole or part of rental monies received. If a cancellation is made prior to 45 days of arrival, the Agent shall, as an accommodation to the Tenant, make an effort to re-rent the property at the published rate for the rental term reserved. No refund of rents paid will be made until the canceled period is re-rented and confirmed. If the canceled period is re-rented, any rent and taxes paid will be refunded less a $100 administrative fee. If the re-rental amount is less than the published rate, any difference in rental rate remains the sole obligation of the tenant. If the unit is not re-rented, all rents paid, processing fees and taxes shall be forfeited as damages. This cancellation policy is strictly followed. Tenants are encouraged to purchase travel insurance for all vacations to cover many situations that may arise that might cause one to cancel vacation plans. There are many independent insurance providers available to tenants.
I understand that the insurance company holds this policy and that The Island Agency does not determine eligibly of claims.
