family reunion

Loved the property and the whole general Wimberly experience. Only complaint was the wi-fi & mobile service. We had no mobil service at all- don't know what we would have done in an emergency. The internet & direct tv service was all but useless. I realize I rented mostly to get away from that stuff but it would have been nice to at least know it wasn't available before I arrived. Every thing else was as advertized and wonderful.

Wonderful !!

My family Had a wonderful Easter weekend at the farmhouse !! The house is beautiful 🤩 much much nicer than the pictures ! The kitchen is equipped , rooms are nicely decorated and most important all rooms and bathrooms were very clean !! We has a wonderful time , enjoyed the outdoors and had s’mores in the fire pit outside ,, great place to enjoy some quiet time with my husband and my boys ,,, close to downtown wimberely,, ,, Would love to be back again 🤩thank you sooo much for sharing with us your beautiful home 👌🏼

Beautiful modern home

We enjoyed staying at this wonderful property for 3 nights. It was clean, quiet, comfortable, and spacious with plenty of room to gather and relax inside and/or out. The king sized bed upstairs was extremely comfortable. The deck out back provided a peaceful night sitting around a firepit among the wooded area and by the creek. The location is close to Wimberley, shops, parks, and eateries. We saw a family of deer almost daily in the mornings and a young turkey running around. The dining table was a great place to eat and play dominoes/games and all the facilities were very modern. I would love to stay here again. However, I only gave this home 4 stars for lack of thorough and timely communication responses we experienced from the management company. I hope and expect they will improve in this area in the future. Thank you, Jeff and Leanne

Very pleasant

The creek is lovely; however, no real access. You are either up on a cliff looking or your in the water to swim, no lazy walk/wading along.

Photos don't do it justice

I was slightly concerned from the photos- it seemed dark and kind of folksy with the carriage bench - but it is gorgeous inside. So well appointed, beautiful furnishings. The creek is also beautiful - I couldn't tell from photos if we could get down to creek, but there is a staircase (steep). The setting is so pretty - we saw deer, lot's of turkey and grandson caught perch in creek. We will come again. Thanks.

Excellent place to unwind, relax, and do whatever.

If you have a larger group, this is your place! My wife and I were hosting a family gathering to celebrate the life of someone we had lost. The property had so much to offer. There’s a sizeable creek behind the house with the sound of water running. One of my favorites was the hammock by the creek, to relax and listen to the water. The fire pit is also a nice add, which has recently been moved and built into the deck making it so easy to use. Inside there are several bedrooms and bathrooms, all have been updated with a classy farm feel. The home is well equipped to cook also. We were able to cook all our meals and the charcoal grill on the back porch was perfect for the fillets we made. The house is very close to Wimberley square, maybe 10-12 mins away, but it’s also far enough to feel secluded. There are other houses around this accommodation but are hidden by trees or other vegetation. All in all we had an excellent time to come together and remember someone who meant so much to us. Thanks again for letting us stay, we had a great time.
