The Space:
Located across the street from the beach, this beautifully renovated townhouse-style villa features an inverted floor plan with views of the 11th hole of the neighboring golf course. Guests can enjoy dining on the screened-in porch overlooking the golf course or enjoy the warm rays from one of the other three decks. Gather in the living area and wind down on one of the comfortable sofas while watching TV or planning tomorrow's adventures. Fairway Dunes offers guests amenities such as tennis courts, a swimming pool, and children's pool-there's no way you'll spend a dull moment here!

What's nearby:
This villa is also conveniently located across the street from the beach access path. Several restaurants within the resort of Wild Dunes are just a short bike ride away. Take a swing at the links down the road at the Wild Dunes Links Golf Course or bike down the paths around Wild Dunes. Venture out to downtown Isle of Palms less than five miles away for additional dining and shopping. Don't forget to visit downtown Charleston during your stay too, just 17 miles away.

Great villa

The condo was bigger than it looked like it would be in the pictures. Two of the three bathrooms were updated and spacious. The third bathroom attached to the twin room is small and cramped and better suited for children than adult adults. The kitchen was pretty well appointed however could definitely use a new larger nonstick skillet and some better knives. Overall, the condo was lovely. The location is fantastic right across the street from the beach path. Would definitely rent again.

Great location

Our 4 nights at Fairway Dunes on the Isle of Palms was lovely. The condo was as advertised and had plenty of spare blankets as the weather turned quite cold while we were there over New Year’s. The bathrooms were a little dated but functional and there was plenty of space. The only item missing from the kitchen was a tea kettle, otherwise it was very well stocked!

Unkempt outside yard appearance—infested with flies inside the house, poorly screened porch area, lacked maintenance/repair on screen door.

Wonderful

Had a wonderful stay. Place was great for 5 women. Only complaint is lock code was too long. Never could remember it. It also gave us allot of issues. Some times it took us 4-5 tries. We are looking to stay there again next year on our girls annual trip

Would NOT stay here again

We contacted Vacasa within an hour after arriving and FOUR different times within first 24 hrs of stay to let them know our toilet was missing a part & didn't work. Kitchen sink was backed up w food/water entire stay. Maintenance NEVER came. Couldn't use kitchen sink. Forced to spend hundreds of dollars eating all meals out. Kitchen smelled from backup. Vacasa promised maintenance would arrive within hour. No call, no maintenance. Called back FOUR times. Promised would be fixed in morning. At checkout Vacasa said "we have no maintenance working weekends and your plumbing issues were not considered urgent, so sorry" We spent over a thousand dollars for 3 nights. Never again

Great spot on a great resort. Close to the beach, close to pools, and close to golf. The house was clean and everything worked. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back

Excellent rental property

Very good except for the performance of the dishwasher. Also, when someone is staying for a month, you may want to consider having the cleaners visit at least once. Decor is a little worn and dated.

Great location

Overall a very nice unit located near the beach access. However, there was no indication in the listing that there would be no garage access nor was there 1 ceiling fan in the entire unit. We rent every year and have never experienced a locked garage, this greatly reduced storage. Ceiling fans, or lack there of, should be listed as that impacts the thermostat setting and overall comfort level day and night.

Great villa but amenities not as advertised

The villa location was convenient to the beach and bike path. Our villa was to come with access to tennis courts and swimming pool. We picked the unit to have access to tennis. The tennis courts were unusable and didn't look like they had been maintained in months. When I contacted Vacasa about this, I was told we could call the local rec center off site to use their court. No effort was made to make accommodation at one of the many courts within the resort. Vacasa needs to actively get out of the office and check facilities of the properties they represent.

Good Location

Our family stayed here during Thanksgiving and had a wonderful time. There is a short walk to the beach and plenty of space to walk and ride rental bikes. The townhouse was clean and we discussed returning another time in the future.

We enjoyed the visit. The layout of the unit was a bit unusual but not a big deal.

Can’t wait to come back!

We had the best time!!! The property was perfect for our family. We have 4 children ages 1-11 and the location to the pool & beach couldn’t have been more perfect. We loved riding bikes around the resort, playing board games provided by the property, and we loved the relaxing atmosphere of the townhome & Wild Dunes. We were so sad to leave! We are looking at booking again & having a longer stay. Spent the car ride home planning our next trip! Thank you for making your property available for rent. We had a wonderful family vacation!

Walking distance to beach

We enjoyed our stay and really liked the short walk to the beach and pool. Kitchen could use some things if you are planning on doing a lot of cooking but otherwise great property and stay!

Great location

Loved staying here for almost three weeks. I had visitors in and out all three weeks. Dishwasher needs work and part was ordered I think, but not repaired during my stay. Had to wash dishes each day but not all meals were eaten at condo thank goodness. Love Wild Dunes and surrounding areas on IoP.

Quiet and clean

Although we weren’t on the beach, we were close enough to hear the waves. Especially at night. And you can get a glimpse of the ocean from the kitchen window . It felt very private, there’s a big tree behind the condo. Thank you.

Perfect for a girls getaway!

Three of my friends and I stayed at this property over the weekend for a church virtual conference. There was plenty of room for all of us, and the kitchen was well stocked. The location was also lovely-lots of trails, sidewalks and beach access close by! We were able to easily go into Mt. Pleasant for dinner one night (lots of great options) but also spend a lot of time in the condo. We also enjoyed chatting with your semi-famous neighbor!!

Great property!

We had an amazing time staying in this property. It was very clean and cozy. Steps from the beach and in a great community. Twin bedroom and king bedroom on on the main level when waking in and then 5 steps up to the queen bedroom and about 10 steps up to the kitchen/living room.

A nice value for Wild Dunes

Condo is nice distance from beach. Bathrooms and Kitchen are up to date. Clean. Would like access to garage to store beach chairs and bikes safely.

Beautiful community, close to the beach

The property is in a nice community, ideal location for going to the beach. However you better plan on bringing your own chairs because there is nothing available to take to the beach. The property is clean on the top surface but there is a horrible mold smell outside the door as you walk up the stairs and is extremely strong in the master bedroom/bathroom. I reported it on our arrival after being here 8 days nobody even call or checked on it. The mold is noticeable on the walls and visible in the dishwasher door in great amounts not just a small amount at the bottom. We would definitely return to Wild Dunes Community on the Isle of Palms but would not recommend this property until the mold is repaired which is going to be a deep structural project since it is noticeable where the mold is growing in spots on the drywall.
