Ready for a chill beach retreat? This classy oceanfront home has plenty of seating on the deck for everyone to enjoy the breeze and gorgeous views! The open layout of the kitchen, dining, and living areas keeps everyone connected.

What’s nearby:
During your stay, take advantage of the many outdoor activities offered on the island including fishing, surfing, biking, kayaking, boating, and much more. Sign up at the local rental shops for surfing or paddle boarding lessons. Shopping, restaurants, and bars are located on Center Street (a little less than one mile away). A short drive (approximately 11 miles) will take you to downtown Charleston, where you can enjoy shopping, fine dining and local historic tours.

Perfect location! We could watch the surf from the porch. The house was roomy with plenty of seating. There was nothing we needed that wasn't provided.

Great location close to Center St and right on the beach. Plenty space for between 6-10 to sleep comfortably. We would definitely stay again.

Awesome location will come back!

Really good location nice property could use a high top table on deck with seating For 5 or 6 so you can sit and view ocean From the deck.

Great ocean view

Deck does need work but the view and access to the ocean are excellent! Was a great and clean place to stay. Enjoyed the access to Charleston without as much traffic.

Great house

This house was perfect for our stay. It was very clean and checking in and out was a breeze. Make sure to bring beach towels and beach chairs. Other than that… perfect stay!

Relaxing, beautiful stay

The location is unbeatable with direct access to the beach! Set up is spacious and well stocked with the essentials. Furniture is dated but nothing that negatively impacted our wonderful stay! Would definitely return!

This location definitely needs some TLC-updates are a must. Furniture was old, deck needs replacing, needed to purchase paper products because we ran out. Nice location, great having the beach out our front door!!!! Over priced for our stay in February but Overall a good stay and enjoyed the Folly Beach area.

80th birthday - girls week!

Comfortable, beachfront home. Well stocked kitchen with pots, pans and assorted bowls for serving up snacks. Only thing missing scissors. Comfortable beds, extra towels.

Great place - needs only a tweak or two

Great place and outstanding location - very clean and simple - we like simple - no grill should have meant at least a broiling pan, and had sleeping for 9 and steak knives for 7, so a few thoughtful tweaks would take what I call a 4.8 really to a full 5 - thanks!

Comfortable oceanfront home

Walking in to that open space does not disappoint! The view is incredible and the access to the beach is perfect. If you like lived-in, comfortable accommodations, then this is the place for you. If you prefer new, pristine places, then you should look elsewhere. The blinds and windows need some maintenance, the rusted vent covers and cabinet hinges need to be replaced and the stained chair needs to go but all very minor things that didn't impact our stay. Lots of room - looked like it used to be a duplex. We loved it and would rent it again. Vacasa was also wonderful - very communicative and attentive during our stay.

Great beach & location! House is ok but needs screens on patio doors & some windows.

Overall loved the location and house was good size and well supplied. House could use a few repairs mainly patio door screens and windows. Furniture in family room could also use a good cleaning.

Great ocean front house

We liked this property very much. The only negative is the lack of blinds on the sliding doors. It is very difficult to keep the living room dark for nesting turtles.

Beautiful home and perfect location

We could not have picked a better house for our girls weekend! The location is unreal...it's right on the beach with a private entrance to the sand :) It's a little far from downtown Charleston, but it was easy to schedule Ubers to get in and out of downtown. We had a minor issue with the stove light constantly being on, and the property manager answered quickly and swiftly, and was able to send us portable burners to cook with to be safe. I would definitely book this house again!

Very relaxing week

This house was perfect for our two families to share. The twin sides made it feel like we each had our own space when it was needed and there was more than enough shared space to enjoy our time. Our only concern is the deck has several nails/screws sticking up, so take caution and don’t walk about in bare feet. Thanks for the great relaxing time!

My Stay at Folly

Loved the view and access to beach. It was perfect for me. Some chairs on deck would have been nice as the built in bench faces away from ocean. Ice maker not working but luckily I got along ok with trays. I would definitely go back.

Lovely stay!

This is a perfect spot for a beachfront vacation. The home is well laid out and feels really spacious. Plenty of towels provided and was very clean. The only complaints are that the driveway is sand and when it's raining it's basically a mud river to the house. And I wish they'd provided a few blankets around the house. But otherwise highly recommend. We'd definitely come back!
