Welcome to Who Cares!

This second-row, reverse floor plan home is located in the beautiful seaside community of Sandcastles in the heart of Surf City. Although considered second row, there is no street to cross — just a courtyard between the oceanfront and street-side duplexes — making the beach access at the end of Dolphin Street only steps away. Conveniently located within walking distance to local shops, restaurants, and Surf City attractions, this home offers the perfect blend of location and coastal convenience.

Two floors of covered decks offer beautiful ocean views and plenty of space to relax and enjoy the coastal breeze. The nicely landscaped property features palm trees, lush grass, and stone pathways that add to the inviting beachside atmosphere.

On the first level, guests will find three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and the laundry area. The second level features the main living space with an oceanside deck, along with a fourth bedroom. The home also includes two bedroom suites with private ensuite bathrooms, making it ideal for families or groups traveling together.

The spacious kitchen opens into the dining and living areas, creating a comfortable gathering space for meals, conversation, and relaxing after a day at the beach. Large windows throughout the main living area bring in natural light and showcase the ocean views.

Step outside onto the covered deck to enjoy your morning coffee while watching the pelicans fly overhead, or unwind in the evenings listening to the sounds of the surf after a fun-filled day on the shore.

Nice vacation getaway with a couple caveats

We did love this home that has a great ocean view, perfect location for public beach access, and a lot of amenities that made our stay easier. We really enjoyed the 2 porches facing the ocean, and the amazing views. The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed to make meals (though some of the utensils and plates needed a good wash before use). Beds were super comfortable, and the provided towels, soap, paper towels, toilet paper, etc were a very nice touch. Would definitely recommend this space to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway at Surf City.

Great house and location

We had 2 couples with 2 kids each stay here. I was worried about it feeling too small with 2 families like that, but it was plenty spacious, the beds and couches were all comfortable. The beach access is within view from the decks, so we had maybe a 1 min walk to the beach which was perfect. The storage shed had TONS of toys for kids, the boogie boards were mostly broken and an umbrella too, but the toys were nice to have. The property could use a hardwood sweeper rather than a big carpet one that has a conversion for hardwood. The sand was just a little hard to get picked up with this kind of sweeper. The large coffee pot also did not work, but there was a small one that did, so that’s what we used. Overall we were extremely pleased with the beach house.
