Located within waking distance of the beach and the sound, this fun, family-friendly vacation rental is a fantastic option for your next getaway to Hatteras Island! Inside this cozy and colorful home, you'll find a top-floor, open great room with a well-equipped, full kitchen with a breakfast bar, an adjacent dining table for eight, and a sunlit living area with comfortable seating and a wall-mounted TV for streaming your favorite channels. The middle and lower floor are home to all five bedrooms including two kid-friendly bunk rooms.

Step out onto the upper deck and catch glimpses of the ocean while you dine alfresco at the table with bench seating. Head downstairs one level and take advantage of your private hot tub located on the covered middle deck. And on the ground level, cool off in your seasonal, private pool, or shoot some hoops out in the driveway.

Two kayaks with paddles and PFDs provided.
TV streaming services require guest accounts to access.

Enjoyed our stay

The pool and hot tub were a huge hit with our whole crew for our stay. Very spacious home with plenty of bathrooms, showers, beds, pantry space, and fun. Short walk to beach access and beautiful views.

Short walk to beach or sound, amazing layout of the house for families and privacy. Love that our pup could join us. Spent most of our time at the private pool. Enjoyed the picnic table at the grill area at the car port. Plenty of shops for necessities near by.

Great spot

Awesome pool, great space for a large family and conveniently located to the 4WD beaches. Also a plus for instacart deliveries, but be prepared to get your exercise in going up the 3 flights of stairs to get to the kitchen/living area.

Got the job done for the week, but could use improvements.

The house was the perfect size for our group and a huge plus for being dog friendly! The location from the beach was another plus, about a 5 min walk! As mentioned in the title the house got the job done for us for the week but needs improvements. The house is clearly dated and some aspects need to be updated for a better experience as there were certain aspects of our trip that shouldn’t have been a concern or issue for us to figure out as far as overall cleanliness and quality of amenities.

Best views in town!

Actual ocean and sound views from the top deck and the middle deck as well as many of the windows. Having the pool was an absolute life saver with a little one in the family this year. Having linens, towels and toilet paper was also wonderful! Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone and enough seating at the dining room table for the number of people the the house accommodated (can’t tell you how many times we have had to figure out alternate seating in other places so big bonus)

Lovely home needs improved cleaning

Lovely home. Gorgeous views. And, a pool! Unfortunately carpet in LR was grossly stained & remnants of prev guest were present. The pool area could use swept& weeds/overgrowth killed/trimmed back. Dryer vent also needs cleaned out. Minor, but needs addressed.

Decent for what we paid

We had enough space for everyone who came with us. It was also nice to have some much outdoor space. We enjoyed having the private pool. We also appreciated our short walk to the beach. We did have several issues including mold in the home, a mildew smell that was consistent during our entire stay. The dryer door would not open completely because of the door frame where it was located. There were several active wasp nests on the property which concerned us because we had a 6 year old child with us. I did notice that the prices increased greatly for next year around the same time we stayed…..I personally would not pay these higher prices for this house.

Okay not great

The house was good as far as space and rooms go. It was plenty big but could be cleaned better it’s clear there is no deep cleaning - found medicine in the couch cushions dust on the fans, carpet in living room had debris stuck all over. We also found a cockroach crawling on the wall. The biggest thing for me was the landscaping around the pool and safety in regards to the pool. Needs cleaned up. Bottom of the pool was pretty gross. The fence and gate around the pool needs to be fixed up loose boards along with missing boards. The gate didn’t latch which was very unsafe when traveling with two young children.

Sadly disappointed

The photos don’t fully show the location as between 2 large campgrounds- while that’s not BAD it does distract from paying so much for a private house. Also the beach time is impacted since you have many more folks sharing the beach than in other OBX rentals we have used in the past. Also somewhat louder than expected Also : Maid service did an ok job before we arrived- but obvious real deep cleaning had not been done - heavy dust on fans, pots still had food residue, dirty underwear 😳 in couch cushions upstairs. Some blinds were damaged and let light in after being closed , outside door windows were dirty, pool slats damaged and looked cheap Said had 2 bikes - did not have 2 bikes ☹️ Just a disappointment- we will not rent again Shared concerns afterwards and got a ‘pleasant/ we will look into it response.’ Not really satisfactory after a huge expense on our part

Almost perfect... SO. MANY. PEOPLE!

The house was beautiful! It was very clean, kitchen was well stocked, beds were comfortable. We brought our very large family and there was plenty of room to spread out or hang together. The pool was a wonderful bonus and upgrade from our past beach houses. BUT... This house is situated between two large camp grounds. I feel like that should have been disclosed prior to booking. The noise level from the children's play area (a huge water blob, that is right outside the living room window) was insane! Starting early in the morning tons of kids kids were SCREAMIMG outside your window! There was no peaceful mornings sipping coffee on the porch and watching the ocean. There was no peaceful anything! Also the beach was extremely crowded, not at all what you would have if you stayed anywhere else at OBX. OBX is known for its expansive beaches with lots of room to spread out, you do not get this luxury here. However, there were a lot of cafes and shops nearby. My teens fell in love with Mirro's Cafe, which was within walking distance. Overall it was almost the perfect house. If I could relocate it to a different part of the beach it would be PERFECT!
