Great location!

The location was excellent for the range of activities we wanted to do. The unit was clean and well presented, though the state of the vertical blinds at night made it more difficult to sleep. However, the bed was great and amenities were more than enough for our needs.

Great location

We wanted a walkable location with easy access to downtown Vancouver. This was it! The property was clean, close to so many things, and had a really comfortable bed. The kitchen was a bit basic but fine as we didn’t plan to cook a lot, and it had all the necessary items. We appreciated keeping our mornings easy, and the grocery store was just two blocks away. Easy access to False Creek Ferries, the sea wall, Stanley Park, Granville Island and a lot more. The property management team was very helpful. The unit tends to be a bit stuffy, but there was a fan in the bedroom. This was a perfect “in city” rental.

Charming West End Apt

Overall, the property is immaculate. Clean, modern, with all the amenities available for your stay. 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms is enough space for 2 people. However, the second bedroom is only a mattress on the floor. Property is close to beaches, restaurants, grocery stores, and the aqua bus to take you to Granville. The assigned parking space is awkward, so don't rent a large vehicle if you plan on doing so. There are quiet hours (10pm to 8am), but apparently, that doesn't apply to the permanent residence as the neighbor to the left plays LOAD music early in the morning and pass 10pm. That was the only dowmfall about this property. Checkin and communication with property management is all done via email or text.

Pleasant Stay

The property was very clean and lived up to expectations in most ways. It's convenient to a lot of locations. A couple of coffee mugs were broken/chipped. There were no non-perishable kitchen condiments (e.g. salt, pepper), but we appreciated finding coffee there, and replaced it with a new bag when we left. The sofa was slightly broken when we arrived and the attempt to fix it (initiated by the manager) didn't do much, but it was still okay, just squeaky to sit in. We were careful not to make it worse. Bed was very comfortable. Slightly noisy due to street and bike path proximity, but since the bedrooms are at the back, it wasn't much of an issue. No soap in the shower/bath, so we left some.

beautiful apartment, great location

i had made attempts to contact the person who initially sent me the rental agreement, but after getting no response, i texted the property contact listed on the agreement, and everything went very smoothly from that point forward. the street-level apartment was spacious (better for 2-3 people instead of just 1), spotless, and in a great location near the seawall, Sunset Beach Park, and a stop on the 23 bus line. master bath furnishings are beautiful, but not a lot of counter space for toiletries, nor a soap tray in the shower. everything else was excellent - great kitchen and appliances, comfy bed, and having a washer/dryer in the unit was a huge plus!

Great place to stay!

Our host was so friendly and helpful from the very beginning! It was clean and easy to get around. The only issue we had was the air conditioning. There was a small unit in the living room but we couldn’t leave it running at night because we weren’t comfortable leaving the window open with the amount of people walking/biking in the front of the apartment and the sliding glass door was also an issue with using the unit in the bedroom. It was very warm and it wasn’t a comfortable temperature to sleep. And one more thing that’s just a suggestion would be new pillows. The ones there are very old and flat.

The condo was very nice, very clean, but VERY basic. I was disappointed that there was no regular cable just to check the news etc, had to go online to find anything. the furnishings were functional but minimal. Some side tables and a comfy chair would have gone a long way. the bed was very comfortable. A few spices i.e. salt and pepper pouches would have been appreciated. I did not appreciate having to take out the refuse, I paid a decent amount and don't expect to be required to clean. Also, a couple of lawn chairs out on the patio in the back would have been nice. Overall a nice place but very basic.

Great stay

We really loved the bike lane right outside the place, the water is directly behind the condo; water bus and beaches within a couple minute walk, we even loved the aquatic center a few minutes away. Market was also walkable which was nice. Place was super clean and modern with everything we needed.

August Long Weekend

Slight miscommunication with the check in process but Rich addressed it promptly. Rental unit was very clean and had exactly what we needed. Location was close to transit spots and the nearby grocery store was very handy. Neighborhood felt safe in the evening and had many walking paths. We would highly recommend this site and would rent it again. Thank you!

A Sightseers Best Choice

This condo is in the perfect location for being a walking tourist in greater Vancouver. From the sea wall walk, to Stanley Park, Kits, Science World and more. The market is only two blocks away and the neighbourhood is very safe. We will definitely bring our bikes or rent bikes for the bike lane is just outside our doorstep. My only wish is that there was a dresser so we could unpack a bit more. We will definitely book this condo again.

Great property and location

The property was great and you can’t beat the location. Close to Granville island, Stanley park etc. I would recommend a couple of chairs and perhaps a small table for the patio to enjoy the outdoors in the evening. The property manager made checkin a breeze and is available if you have questions. Very helpful. Thanks

VRBO and the property owner let us down

I would give zero stars if I could. We booked this property on November 4th, 2021. The week before we were to take possession of the property, I contacted one of the property contacts, Joy. I advised Joy of the dates were had the property booked and she advised everything was good to go. Joy advised us to call her or Ritchie when we are about to get into our UBER or taxi and one of them would meet us at the property. On the day we were to take possession of our property I did what Joy asked us to do. There was no answer on Joy's phone. I phoned Richie and I advised him that we had booked this property and would be arriving in about 15 minutes. There was a long pause on the phone and Richie said he would call me right back and hung up. 5 minutes later Richie called me back and advised the property had been double booked and there were persons now staying in the property. Richie stated he could put us up in a condo down the street from this property for one night, then we could move into the same building of the property we had booked and stay for 2 nights in a different condo. We were then told we could move into the condo we had rented for the rest of our stay or we could have our money refunded. I advised Richie this was not acceptable and to meet me at the property. We met with Richie who did apologize for the mix up, but could only give us the same offer he had stated before. Richie had contacted VRBO and explained the situation to them. VRBO called me and confirmed the best offer we could get is the one Richie had given to us. Needless to say I was some upset. We decided to to take the refund and found other accommodations. My wife and I have rented accommodations a number of times in Kauai through VRBO and never had an issue. I have recommended VRBO to friends, relatives and strangers. From now on there will always be that question mark when asked about VRBO. VRBO should have found us accommodations in the same area where we did not have to move. VRBO's inaction has tarnished any reputation they have or had. Mert and Jan Malkoske

Location, location, location

This property was as described. Clean and well outfitted (having 2 full bathrooms is a huge bonus). Being able to walk out the front door onto the street is a definite advantage. The location is enviable....if I win the lottery this is the neighbourhood where I want to live! Walks on the sea wall, ferries to all that False Creek has to offer (read Granville Island & more), waterfront restaurants, grocery & drug stores at your fingertips. This will become my Vancouver go to rental! p.s. The management of this place are 5 star.

The property was just as advertised and suited the purpose of my stay which was to explore downtown Vancouver. Located one block from the waterfront, it provided easy access to the water taxi (aquabus) for excursions to the Public Market at Granville Island, the shopping and dining area of Yaletown and BC Place. Highly recommended.

Boutique Suite & Great Location

A beautiful, modern, very clean, well appointed suite! It had everything we needed while visiting our son in Kitsilano. The location was perfect for us! An easy walk to Kits, Granville Island and even Stanley Park. The check-in and check-out process was easy and communication with our hosts was always prompt. Have already recommended this property to friends!

Fantastic place!

Stayed 10 days. Lovely rental. Clean and had all we needed. Communication with the property manager was quick and easy. The location is perfect for being in downtown Vancouver. Close to the aqua bus water ferry. Close to bus stops. Or just walk to places. Close walk to sunset beach! Fantastic baker cafe really close and lots of other great restaurants and a grocery close by. The bed is very comfortable with a nice selection of pillows. We slept very well. Quiet area too. We would stay again if visiting. I highly recommend!

Semaine fantastique entre amies

Nous avons séjourné une semaine dans cet appartement idéalement situé, très propre et bien équipé. Richie nous a accueilli malgré notre vol tardif (22h00) et a même organisé le divan-lit pour que tout soit prêt à notre arrivée. Merci Richie ! Nous louerons assurément cet appartement lors de notre prochain séjour à Vancouver.

920 Beach Ave

GREAT LOCATION! Walking distance to most downtown places and the beach. Zipped across on the ferries to Granville Island. Close!! Two bathrooms was a plus with 3 women! No AC. Was ok as it was only hot one night. No screens on window and patio doors...felt a bit weird. Pull out couch. Very hard. Had a broken leg so kept tipping over. And there was no extra blankets. No paper towel. And no extra toilet paper. So we had to go buy some. But we got $ reimbursed. Little convenience store just down the block. Overall would recommend!!!

prime location very convenient

We enjoyed our 2 weeks stay in Vancouver. The location is very convenient and close to attractions and beaches. I would suggest the owner to put a couple of chairs in the backyard, so renters can enjoy their morning coffee. This area is nice but empty, so you can't take full advantage of it.
