Unfortunately, this stay was very disappointing. The room we were given was not the one shown in the listing photos, which felt misleading. We also weren’t informed that the room did not have a private shower; it was located outside, and there was no hot water anywhere on the property, including the sink in our room.
The room was cold and damp, likely due to poor insulation. Cleanliness was an issue: there was hair in the bed sheets, suggesting they hadn’t been changed, and the towels provided smelled musty. The Roku remote also had dead batteries, so we had to use the Roku app on our phones to operate the TV.
The biggest issue was the bathroom. The toilet was broken, constantly running water even when not in use, and leaked water from underneath every time it was flushed. We contacted the person listed for the property, who was polite and tried to help. We were told someone would come fix it that day and to use a neighboring unit’s toilet in the meantime. That did not happen, and we were later told someone would come the following day while we were away. When we returned two days later, the toilet was still broken and leaking, with the handle harder to flush and needing to be held down.
The neighboring unit’s bathroom also had a strong odor. Overall, the property appears poorly maintained. This place could be nice if properly cared for, but basic necessities like hot water, clean bedding, and a functioning toilet were not provided. I would not recommend this stay.
