The pictures of this house looked stunning and my family was so excited to stay here. Unfortunately, we were less than impressed. The stress of not being able to check until 2 hours prior to our stay with poor communication were unacceptable, especially since we were told we could check in 24 hours in advance. At booking, they asked for my phone number and photo ID which I sent. I was told to "text" a copy of my photo ID to a different number in order for them to send me check in details, which seemed sketchy to me. I sent it through the VRBO app again and then was sent check in info. Not enough towels, ants in the kitchen, the hot tub was broken, the pool was green upon arrival. We did get a call on day 2 which they did bring more towels and the pool was shocked 4 days into our 5 day stay at noon and then we were told we couldn't use it for 2 hours...right during prime time! Broken dishwasher, broken pools sticks and no cornhole boards as advertised. There was one sponge with a tiny soap for dishes but no kitchen towels, no hot pads and limited pans with cheap utensils. The upstairs didn't have air conditioning and there was no screen in the window so I felt uncomfortable leaving it open! Broken fans in 2 bedrooms. The beds/pillows were comfortable. The best part of this house was the location to the ocean. Easy/safe walk to the boardwalk with plenty of shops/restaurants. The pool is in a great location if you are looking for full sun from about 11am until 3:30pm.
