Wonderful Experience

We arrived a little late but the guards at the entrance verified our ID and proceeded to register us without any problems. The condo was very clean. All appliances worked as expected. The sofas and bed were confortable. I would highly recommend this unit for a get-a-way.

Only issue was the construction going on early every morning. They were working on the condo next door but the walls connect. Impossible to sleep in. That’s obviously not going to be a permanent issue though.

Oh my back!

I’ve stayed at Sandpiper several times before. This was my least fav unit due to 2 reasons & 1 is just a personal preference. The main thing is this unit needs a new mattress desperately! Two of us slept in the bed and both were miserable each morning. I did let the mgmt know. Hopefully they will invest in 1. The second is I prefer location not so close to Main Street. Otherwise cute & clean value friendly unit. The owner should provide a few more thins like a blow dryer for instance. Every place has one of those but not here. The ac worked great .

Cute Little Condo

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was very clean and nicely decorated. The unit, however, is the furthest from the beach as you can get (double check your condo's location) so if you have more than a tote, you'll definitely have to drive around the property and across the street to the beach access. However, there was plenty of parking (included) so that was not an issue. While the condo had plenty of furniture and 2 TVs, the bed was horrible. It is sunken in the middle and has metal springs in the top mattress that you could feel when you lay on it (I'm 150 lbs)!! I'm certain it is from the 80s!! They have a cute private bar on the beach with bar food, drinks, music and chair/umbrella rentals. Must be a people person as the chairs/umbrellas are placed back to back so no personal space (and there are hundreds). The beach was lovely with beautiful white sand and a clear view as far as the eye can see! There are multiple pools on the property and mini golf. The community is gated with 24/hr guards and everyone we met was super friendly! The local restaurants are outstanding - highly recommend Louisiana Lagniappe (upscale dining) that is walkable within the community and McGuire's Irish Pub across the street from Harborwalk (drivable/water taxi). Overall it was a pleasant visit!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: There were some things that were a little irritating. The coffee pot didn't work right. It wouldn't fill up all the way. We would put in 12 cups of water and it would only do 8, no biggie but the coffee was stronger than we wanted. Also, the TV in the living room didn't have the channels we watch, so we had to watch TV in the bedroom. Very inconvenient. Maybe instructions on how to use the TV in the living room would help. Couldn't sit in living room and relax and watch TV.

Safe and clean place

The property is safe and clean, good internet, don't worry about what time you arrive there are security guards waiting for you with all your information, swimming pools, golf course it you like it, 10 minutes walking to a private beach, supermarkets 10 minutes away, The Boardwalk close by and you can bring your pets with you.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was not what I expected in a condo rental. No napkins or paper towels for use. The bed was too soft for my liking. No coffee filters for the Mr coffee pot. I left some as others hoping the property management doesn’t remove them. The sliding glass door needs replaced badly. The love seat was placed over the air intake even tho there is a sign asking management/guests not to do that. The place just needs some TLC for the price. The gate at our end of the resort was closed so we had to walk all the way around main entrance to get in and out. That was exhausting.

The condo was very clean and the size was perfect for our family of four and our dogs. The resort was beautiful and we enjoyed all of the amenities. We had an amazing vacation and will definitely visit again in the future.

Cozy, Clean, and Close

The property was welcoming and friendly. The condo was clean and well stocked with most everything we needed. The kitchen had enough utensils and cookware for food preparation. There is a charcoal grill by the pool for residents to use, but the lack of grilling tools made utilization a bit challenging, but not impossible. There was enough bedding, and linens for all four of us. We appreciated the beach chairs and patio chairs as well. The property was close to everything we wanted to do, easy to walk the property, and plenty of pools to choose from for relaxation. It would have been nice to have a towel rack for hanging beach things since there is a "no hanging anything on the railing" policy. We would recommend the property for a relaxing stay with excellent value.
