Esta casa se encuentra en el Secret of Saugatuck Suites Resort. Tiene acceso a la piscina y el jacuzzi mientras comparte el mismo aparcamiento. Esta es una casa independiente completamente reconstruido a partir de 06/2013. Todo dentro de está como nuevo. Dispone de 2 terrazas, muebles de patio y una parrilla al aire libre. Esta casa tiene una sala de juegos, xbox, y casi todas las comodidades para su estancia. Douglas Beach es un paseo 0,7 millas a lo largo de la orilla del lago, y Oval Beach es de 1. 5 millas de distancia. El ferry de la cadena es .7 millas, Mt. Baldy es .8 millas, y la zona comercial del centro está al otro lado del puerto. Douglas el centro se encuentra a 3 minutos en coche y el centro de Saugatuck se encuentra a 5 minutos en coche. This house is great! Tons of space for my group, amazing location with easy walks to the beach, Mt Baldy and the Root beer Barrel. Hosts are helpful and respond quickly.House is always clean and well stocked with kitchen needs. This is our third trip here and hope to be back next summer.

The property was super comfortable for our group. It was not too far driving distance from downtown and pretty close to the beach. We had a problem with getting into the property late in the evening but Dino came quickly and changed the batteries on the front door keypad. There is a yummy coffee shop near this property called Woosah. Highly recommend the coffee shop and staying at this Vrbo.

Perfect extended family getaway

We had a fabulous time! The house fit our large group perfectly and was beautifully maintained. The owners were extremely responsive to any questions and the access to the pool and close proximity to Douglas and Saugatuck was excellent.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The home had everything we needed and offered plenty of space for our group. It’s conveniently located near Oval Beach, which was a big plus. There were plenty of linens provided, and we appreciated having access to a grill, pool, and hot tub just across the parking lot behind the suites.The double patio was perfect for enjoying breakfast outside, and both the kitchen table and outdoor patio made dining together as a group easy and enjoyable. Overall, a great place for a relaxing and comfortable getaway!

Perfect place for large group

We love staying here! Perfect accommodations for my group. Beds are comfortable, plenty of towels and amenities for the kitchen. A nice mile walk to chain ferry and Mt. Baldy was great for keeping my group busy. We will definitely be back.

Nice vacation house!

We enjoyed our stay here. The house was clean and we had plenty of room for our family. It was nice having the pool across the street. We had a couple of problems but Dino was there right away to solve them.

Cozy and spacious house with a good location

The house was nicer than it appeared online. Super secluded backyard and a big newly renovated kitchen. The location is really nice too with lots of Saugatuck’s main activities within 5 minutes or less. Me and the group I was with had no problems while staying at the house, and I’d definitely book this property again.

Family Vacation

10 Family members. Grandparents to 4 granddaughters.Wonderful time and lots to do. Never bored. Kids did not want to leave! Adult kids exceeded their expectations! Great areas to explore,shopping,boating,swimming,and fishing.

Saugatuck Home

Perfect for our big family. My elderly parents stayed on the first floor with bathroom-perfect and the rest of us with all the kids were on the second floor-perfect. The master suite was fabulous! It had plenty of room! Kids loved the pool. We loved watching deer each day in the back yard. Would recommend to anyone with a large family. Location was terrific! Down the road from Outdoor Coffee-bonus!

Fun family time….but

Over all, we had a great time. But improvements would be very nice. Host should not advertise “game room” because pool table is damaged (not playable), and there is a strong smell of mildew in the garage area. But if you have a fun family, you’ll have a fun time.

Well done, needs minor finishing touches

Location is very good with easy access to oval beach and saugatuck downtown. The owner is very responsive. Very Well stocked with towels, paper goods, laundry and dishwasher detergent, shampoo, soap, extra towels, coffee and cleaning products. Cleaning could have been better. There were still some dust bunnies on the kitchen and living floors and wasn’t well cleaned on our arrival. Could have been a tips guide in the house showing wifi info, what to do with garbage and recycling, how to find more propane when tank is empty, light the grill, etc. House is nice inside. Many of the blinds were broken and either didn’t raise or wouldn’t lower once raised. Trees and bushes around the house need trimming. They are overgrown and contribute to an unkempt first impression.

Thank your for your stay and input. I am sorry for the dust bunnies. We addressed it with the cleaners. There should have been a white tri-fold sheet with information in the house with the below information you asked about. We will start adding an extra. As of 2 weeks ago, the binds were replaced. We did not know we had a few needing replacement. The vines around the trees in back have been trimmed a few weeks ago. We still need one more good fall trim on those trees. We hate to have tree people come in the summer for extensive tree work. Schedules never line up and they always show at 7am. It is very tough to schedule this when the house is empty for a day. We don't want to disturb the guests. Thank You Cheryl

Great place with a lot of space

The house was perfect for a group of us for my sister’s bachelorette party. I love how we can all sit around the table and there are plenty of couches as well. It was very well equipped to handle a big group of us!

Great location and space for my group of 14!

Spacious bedroom and bathrooms accommodated my group well. Loved the large closet space, games, deck, large kitchen, access to pool and location. We walked to Mt. Baldy and the Chain Ferry for easy access to downtown Saugatuck. We will be back next year!

Excellent spot for a group!

Great location! Very quick (5 minutes or less) drives to everywhere we had planned to go in Saugatuck/Holland for our weekend trip. Plenty of sleeping space. Nice little back yard area. The only thing close to a negative I could say is that I didn’t realize we would be sharing a parking lot with a motel-like building. HOWEVER it worked out great because there was a pool and hot tub with the motel that we were able to use, which everyone loved. Plus there was ample parking and we had our own secluded back yard area for lawn games.

Great place for our family reunion after Covid

All our kids and grandkids met here for a fun vacation after being so long apart. House is nice and comfortable and the back deck was fantastic for family meals with all 13 of us at the same table. The pool was great and the location close to the beach and town. Thanks to our hosts for a smooth and effortless process, check in to check out. JK

Great Stay

We had a great stay. The hosts were responsive and answered all our questions. The house was clean with plenty of space for everyone. It is close to Oval Beach and downtown Saugatuck.

Great Stay All Around

The house was perfect for our big family outing as our end-of-summer trip. Our group of 14 (half were small children) fit just fine with their big kitchen dining table, spacious couches and lounging area, ample outdoor seating, and multiple bedrooms and bathrooms. The kitchen was stocked with anything we needed, house was clean and even better than the pictures. We loved that they had a community pool that never got too crowded. It was a saving grace when we went to Oval Beach and saw it was packed to the max (probably our fault for not getting there til almost 11am on a Saturday) and Douglas Beach was closed due to erosion, so we ended playing at the pool all day. Dino was quick to respond to all of my questions too. The house made it a perfect family retreat for our first time in Saugatuk so we will be back!

Recently renovated and great for entertaining

This house was extremely clean and recently renovated. Dino the owner was wonderful to work with, was flexible with the check in/ check out time. Kitchen was well stocked with pots/pans in order to cook a full meal, as well as serving dishes. Had difficulty with starting the fireplace and the owner came over within the hour to fix, as well with some wiring for the tv which was figured out quite quickly. Great rate for the size/quality of the interior of the home. We had 12-13 people there and everyone had a comfortable place to sleep. Would definitely rent this property again.

Hi, we are Cheryl and Dino, we live on site at the resort year round. We purchased the resort in 2011 and made many improvements, including finishing this house. The entire property is the former estate of Lloyd J Harris (Sara Lee). The property consists of 20 hotel condos and a large house. The entire property had new additions and new units built on site recently. This was owned by Dino's family in the 80's. When the property came up for sale a few years back, we knew we had to buy it. The location between the harbor and Lake Michigan in a residential neighborhood is rare. You can stroll out of the driveway towards Lake Michigan and enjoy the Frank Lloyd Wright inspired homes along the lakeshore. Many were built by his students. Or, you can turn the other way and walk along the harbor watching the boats go by. You can also sit and watch the deer and enjoy the quiet 4.24 acres of serenity. The pool and hot tub are located on the bluff on site. Just across the parking lot.

This property can sleep up to 14 people with living and dining space for all. The master bedroom has a king bed with a futon and large bathroom with it's own deck and LED TV. The guest bedroom has 2 queen beds, and a LED TV. The kids bedroom has a queen bed, 2 upper twins, and a lower twin with an LED TV and an Xbox. The main floor bedroom has a full size bed. The garage was converted to a game room with a pool table. The living room has 2 large leather couches to seat everyone with a large LED TV. The kitchen is granite with all new stainless appliances. There is a wet bar in the dining area with a large table. The pool table also converts to a dining room table for the kids if needed. Dual zone heating and cooling, parking for up to 10 cars, a large deck with furniture, and a mud room. The back yard is private and not shared with the resort.
The resort is also the closest to the Lakeshore Chapel, Saugatuck's favorite place to get married. It is a short walk out of the parking lot.

This summer, our renters loved the size of the home, condition, and location. Many loved the benefit of renting the home for family reunions and letting the grand parents rent one of the separate condos. We have found our niche in the market, family reunions. We have had groups over 100 renting the entire place for weddings and family reunions. Some have even rented our resort because of it's ability to have a large tent for their guests to congregate. Our pool is the largest in the Saugatuck area and our hot tub is great for relaxing. We offer many different units from efficiencies, 1 bedrooms, 2 bedrooms, 3 bedrooms, and the house.
