Mini Mökki is a bright and welcoming ground-level studio right in the heart of downtown Grand Marais. There is another rental unit directly above, and you’ll hear normal household sounds like footsteps, voices, and running water through the pipes. If you’re a light sleeper or looking for total quiet, this may not be the right fit.

Many guests love Mini Mökki for its cozy simplicity, affordable price, and unbeatable location. just a 3-minute walk to the lake, cafés, and shops. It’s the perfect spot for travelers who value convenience and charm in the center of it all.

The large windows on three sides allow plenty of natural light while still having privacy in this urban spot.

The interior finish is meant to make you feel immediately comfortable and at home. It's warm, happy and cozy. The large timbers and concrete pilings that support the structure add a raw and natural feel to the place.

The kitchen is fully stocked. Mökki offers a bar fridge, a 2-burner induction stovetop, a kettle, drip coffee maker, a pour-over, a grinder, pots, pans, dishes, and spices. There is also a microwave.

Enjoy a happy hour on the mini patio, or do some quick grilling on the Weber charcoal grill.
