We're sorry that some aspects of the home and check-in experience did not meet your expectations. Patricia, we're sorry to hear your stay fell short of your expectations. However, the homeowner went to very generous measures to make things right. Upon your hearing of your concern regarding the fridge, the owner promptly purchased a new one and had it delivered for your convenience. There are now multiple refrigerators for guest to use as we can confirm that both refrigerators are operating correctly. The grill is in great working condition. There is a grill brush located next to the grill if additional cleaning is needed, but we apologize for the inconvenience. The firepit had papers left in it to help ignite a fire, but it was not filled with leftover garbage. We do include the location of the cabin in our listing so that future guests know what to expect, however, we're sorry if you felt the lake was farther than advertised. The owners strive to provide excellent guest experiences, and we're confident this cabin will continue to host many satisfied guests! Best, the Evolve Team

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We're sorry to hear the outdoor furniture and cleanliness didn't meet expectations on arrival. It has been an unusually wet summer, which made the furniture damp, and as a cabin nestled in a wooded setting, spiders can occasionally find their way in despite our best efforts. The dirty dishes left in the dishwasher were an oversight by our cleaning team and not typical of how the home is normally prepared. We appreciate you letting us know about the master bedroom lights and the noisy fan, and we'll take a look at both on our next visit. We want every stay to feel comfortable and well cared for, and we're using this feedback to keep improving the property going forward.

Coming from South Carolina to the cold winter in northern Michigan can be a challenge as certain weather aspects are out of anyone's control, however, we understand the owner did everything possible to ensure you had a comfortable stay.
