Stayed 3 nights before our cruise

This place was amazing. Clean, perfect location, host got back to me right away with questions. My kids loved swimming at the roof top pool and being close to the beach.

Excellent stay

I stayed here with my friends over our spring break. The area was beautiful with lots to do close by, including the beach. Property was exactly as listed and the property manager was very responsive and overall a great communicator. Would definitely recommend!

Good and bad

Great location, clean and comfortable bed. Maybe I missed something in the fine details but there were additional fees (parking and resort). As mentioned in other reviews it can be loud at night. The shower faucet, ice machine and living room blind needs repairs. Having beach chairs available was a bonus. I would recommend this unit to anyone if repairs were completed and not bothered by noise. The bakery across the street is a win/win.

Great location

Host was responsive before & during our trip. Very grateful for that. :) Apartment was clean, we enjoyed the balcony in the evenings. Kitchen is well supplied. Right down from elevator and great proximity to the rooftop pool. Hot tub good, pool comfortable temp. Easy walk to beach, bars and restaurants.

Take the good with the bad!

It was a great property close to a lot of bars & restaurants & the ocean. The free hour on the bikes was a fun deal. The rooftop pool & hot-tub & bar were great. The unit itself was missing a few items that would’ve been helpful to have. Pizza cutter & can opener to name 2. Both of our blinds broke right away & the host was a little slow in acting on this. We did get them fixed a couple days later only to have the living room blind break again. She knew they were not in working order when we got there so that particular unit should not have been rented out IMO. We had trouble with her messages back to us as they did not make sense. The weather was fantastic!

Great location but property staff lack attention to customer service

The unit host, Janice, was accommodaing to our need for late checkout due to a late departure flight. All communication is via the VRBO app so there can be delays in communication. This unit is the first past the elevator so you do get the unintentional noisy guests coming and going. There are few items needing maintenence, (blinds, shower handle) of which I informed our host. Make note that requests for extra towels have to be made by the host, not the renter. Overall, the hotel location is easy access to the beach and boardwalk. Some of the hotel staff (front desk and valet are terribly slow) are not customer friendly. The rooftop bar staff is great.

HOLLYWOOD

We stayed one week. Couple of things to know, great location but it's a Holel also. When we got there we couldn't open the bedroom blinds, very dark, hotel said contact owner, we did, three days later it was fixed, worked one day, still broken when we left. If you are a hotel guest they clean your room daily if you are a VRBO they said they would stop in five days and change bedding and linens. On the fourth day I went to the front desk and asked about the linen change and was told they would be there tomorrow, I asked if we should strip the bed and was told no, they would do it for us. The next day came and went and no one showed up. I went to the front desk and asked and they said they were sorry and someone would come. A few hours later a man came to the door with a bag of linens and said here you go. No big deal. Room was nice, some stains on furniture but still nice, also you have to take your garbage to a dump station, the fifth day A/C quit, they did send a repair man right up and was fixed but service man spoke no english so it was a little challenging. The roof top pool and bar is great but check your bill because they add a 20% gratuity so the first time we went they got a extra 30% tip. I don't know if this helps but we would stay there again.

Great location and property!!!

The condo was clean and stocked with fun extras (boogie boards, sand toys, color books etc). Property is clean and maintained. Staff is very friendly. Location is perfect for the Hollywood Beach area. Walking distance to shops, beach, & restaurants. Pool area is excellent but service for bar could be better. Only bummer was the lack of water pressure in shower. Host was very prompt with all inquiries prior to arrival. No issues to report so didn't need to contact during stay. Highly recommend.

Excellent location, accommodations not the best

First to say I was very pleased with the location and the building staff were all professional and friendly. The bed was very comfortable The room/suite was dirty when we arrived, we spent a few hours cleaning to make it somewhat livable. The place in need of some repairs, the shower was the worst part of the stay. Just a trickle of water out of the shower head. It is obvious that this is just a revenue generating venture for the owner. I was also disappointed by the buildings rooftop pool area. Not like the pictures show. Most of the poolside lounges are broken and there are very few of them. I would stay in the building again but I would be smart and bring some tools.

Great place, great location

The apartment is very nice, clean and roomy. The location is very convenient to the beach, plenty of bars and restaurants within a few minutes walk. The pool area is really nice, we will definitely be coming back.

Rude and poor communication

Let me start off by saying that the apartment itself was beautiful. The issues that we had couldve been completely avoided. CONS: We arrived on a wednesday late afternoon. When we got there we went to plug our phones in to charge in the living room, and it tripped the breaker- shutting off the lights in the bedroom. We flipped it, lights came back on- no big deal. Then it happened again. But the lights in the bedroom didnt come back on. At this point it was 9pm when we texted the owner to let her know the breaker was blown, sending a a video showing her what was happening. She told us she would have someone fix it the following day- again, no big deal. The next day I texted her when we woke up, said she was trying to get something scheduled and she would let me know. 4pm Thursday, nothing. 9:30pm again, nothing. Two nights without lights/tv in the bedroom. There had not been any sense of urgency or care to let us know the situation was being resolved. Friday morning she says someone will be there after 3 and asked if we would be there to let them in. So from 3-5:30 we waited in our room for no one to show. NOT ONLY did no one show, but she never communicated with me that no one was coming. 3 nights without lights/tv. By saturday morning, Im aggitated. I had asked her for some sort of compensation for the trouble we had because the bedroom was essentially useless. And her reply was (and this verbatim) *I am very sorry for what you have been through but it bothers me that from the beginning you are asking compensation, knowing everything worked in the department because I checked it myself that everything will work well. I dont really know what happened from the morning I was there until you arrived. I very sorry for the inconvenience that you cant use a plug.* It wasnt a plug that was broken. NOTHING in the bedroom worked. Any business owner should offer SOMETHING in return for their customers poor experience. 3/5 nights the bedroom was useless. Not only that, shes insinuating that we did something. Saturday evening at 4pm someone finally came and told us this was an issue in the past. He could tell that someone had been there to fix it previously. We never received an apology or anything from the owner. PROS; the property itself is great. the rooftop pool/lounge was where we spent most of our time. The coffee store and gelato store attached to the building are phenomenal. Its a great location and the room came with a lot of extras.

Great location for beach wedding guest

Wanted to stay close to Margaritaville (without the prices). Loved the kitchenette and got basic groceries at Joe's Market for breakfasts. Enjoyed the beach chairs and boogie boards included. SPACIOUS bathroom and bedroom. Would definitely stay again!

Very Spacious.

The check in was easy, just don't like the Valet parking. I almost missed my flight waiting on my car. The host meet us near the parking area to show us to our room. I guess to make sure we are the same people booking. The front desk gave us the wrong room key, so I was happy she was there but at the same time, was asked for my ID picture before check in. I like my privacy, so this was a little strange to me. Also it's a camera facing the front door when you walk in. At 1st I don't like it, but it was OK for safety. The bathroom door knob was broken, also a few other things, but the host responded right away. Than an endless list of problems, that I did not care to keep texting the host. The extra blanket was sour, so we left it out for the host to wash. The shower also smelled sour. The apartment had everything you need to clean it. Everything for cooking. I don't like the sheer curtains, due to I like to sleep in and you can jump over the balcony to the next room. This was a little scary, due to it was just my daughter and I. The place needs an overall check and touch up, closet need repair and the bedroom door did not close properly. The outlet in bathroom had a shortage and we had to keep resetting it. They need to go through and throw away things other visitors left that is broken, like the beach umbrella and opened dry food.. The sleep was decent until the AM sun woke me up. I wish they had a washer. I do like that they had coolers, and a place on the balcony to hang your wet clothes. The properly do not provide extra beach or pool towels. I am really not sure of the $25 resort fee. Other than free beach chairs. The wifi was spotty. We had to go near the balcony or outside to get cellphone service. The hot tub was cold. This place is beautiful and I do recommend staying, but it's just not for me.

Great place for couples near beach

We arrived very early in the day and host drove to get our bags for us- very nice! Place was clean and super close to beach. Very convenient to Broadwalk and great restaurants and bars. Bed was comfortable and lots of extras like coffee and creamer and chairs and umbrella. It was a great place.
