WHO WE ARE AS HOSTS;
We fully understand that booking a new rental with few or no reviews makes some guests uneasy. We just added this latest rental offering in December of 2025. You can book with confidence knowing have been VRBO Premier Hosts since 2016 with many thousands of reviews online for our 20+ properties in multiple locations and countries. Our average review rating for all properties is 4.9 stars average out of 5.0 stars.
PERKS YOU ONLY GET WITH US;
When booking with us our guests, (and only our guests), receive access to our captain for the swimming pigs, adventure tours, fishing charters and snorkel trips. You will also get a access to our car rental guy. We also have an incredible and extensive Trip Planner Document that provides each guest awesome tips on everything from; where to eat and drink, the best beaches, blue holes, cave systems, and all the best stuff to do all over the island. Most guests find that document to be invaluable for a great trip.
COTTAGE LOCATION;
The cottage is in a great location close to Governor's Harbor Airport and at the mid point of the island which is great for exploring all the island's best attractions to the north and south. There are many world class beaches, bars and restaurants within minutes of the cottage. Our cottage is located just one minute from Airport Beach one of the island's best beaches. Here is a short list of our proximity to notable tourist spots;

COTTAGE DESCRIPTION;
Our cottage is an affordable alternative to the ever increasing prices of short term rentals on the island. However the affordable price does not lack and upscale rental experience. The unit is modern and chic, clean and bright in mostly white color tones, It is a brand new duplex completed in December 2025 with an upper and a lower unit. Note you are renting the LOWER UNIT. Eleuthera is a sleepy island, less traveled than other islands, so most likely there will be no one staying below you. It is a local Bahamian road with only two other friendly families. It is just off the Queen's Highway so it is very easy to get in and out. Some rentals are 15 - 20 minutes on horrible roads and that is not the case with us. The upper unit is open and airy with fun Caribbean colors and lots of windows to let the natural outside light come into the interior. It had beautiful tile floors and an open floor plan. It has free StarLink Satellite Wi-Fi with a very strong signal for your laptop or cell phone so you can work from the cottage and because it is Starlink you are not offline when the local provider goes down. There is a nice 50" flat screen Smart TV with built in 3000 channels in the MBR. The king size bed is very comfy with a high quality 12" memory foam mattress. There is a lovely fully functional kitchen to cook and is stocked with everything you need for full meals at home. Note there is a 4 burner cook top, but not an oven. In place of the oven is a combo counter top unit of microwave / air fryer / toaster oven for all your baking needs. There is a NutriBullet for smoothies or frozen Margaritas. There is a separate living area with a couch off the kitchen and there is exterior deck space with two chairs and a small table for morning coffee and breakfast. You can see the ocean from the second floor in the distance. As an added bonus you will have two full sets or snorkel gear and a charcoal grill is provided. We have both city water and a water cistern so you always have a back up water source if the city water goes out which at times it does on the island. We offer free trash pick up twice per week for all guests. The unit is furnished with some unique items like an Air Diffuser and a foot massager, etc. We provide roughly lots of photos with captions so you can really visualize the entire rental property.
SUPPORT THE LOCAL ECONOMY;
Unlike the 95% of rental properties that are owned by foreigners, this property is owned by the Rolle family who are local Bahamians. So the funds you are spending goes right back into the local economy versus being wired to some foreign bank account which we think is pretty darn awesome top help the economic state of an island in need.
PETS AND SUPPORT ANIMALS:
Please note we do not accept any pets, emotional, support or therapy animals due to extreme allergies/health related issues in our family.
ELEUTHERA IS NOT FOR EVERYONE;
If Miami Beach or Vegas is your thing we respectfully suggest you pick a different destination. Eleuthera is a sleepy island with some flaws; bad roads, dated infrastructure, there can be power / water / internet outages and the occasional gecko on the wall. The trade off is going back in time 75 years to an unspoiled gorgeous island where you will explore the most stunning beaches you have ever seen and have them usually all to yourself. The seafood is fantastically good. The people are warm and genuine, crime is very low and the vibe is super chill. We love it and so do 95% of our guests since 2004 when we began renting on the island.

Such a great location that checks off all the boxes; Central location for exploring north and south. Right near Governor's Harbor Airport and just a short drive to the capital. Near lots of bars and restaurants, beaches and other island attractions. Our location is just off the main road - The Queen's Highway so you do not have a lot of driving on bad roads like some other rentals. Lastly our neighborhood has only one other house of a nice local Bahamian family.
