Esta casa se encuentra en 2 ½ acres en el suroeste de Michigan, justo detrás del noveno green de lo que será el nuevo campo de golf Spruce Ridge. El primer tee está a 40 yardas de nuestra puerta principal. Hay varios lagos dentro de 5-20 minutos en coche.

Tenemos paquetes de golf y enoturismo que incluyen transporte.

La casa sería ideal para fiestas de solteras de chicas.

Realmente no hay nada como esto. La casa está configurada en un ambiente tipo cabaña. Tiene capacidad para más de 30 personas. Para menos de 15 personas, ocupación doble por habitación.

Tiene 8 habitaciones (también otra área abierta con 4 camas proporcionadas) y 6 baños completos. También cuenta con una cocina totalmente equipada junto a un gran comedor. Hay una gran sala de estar y una sala de cartas. El acristalado 1,160 pies cuadrados. Florida Room tiene vista a la piscina cubierta de 1,200 pies cuadrados y es el lugar de reunión perfecto para grupos. La sala de la piscina abarca 3.600 pies cuadrados e incluye una bañera de hidromasaje. En la planta baja hay un área de recreación de 2,500 pies cuadrados con un bar y mesa de billar.

We stayed with a big group of golfers and this place was great!! The pool is a huge plus and the house is right on a golf course. Plenty of rooms and beds to sleep a large group.

Great Stay Right On The Golf Course

This place was huge!! The pool was a great addition and there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out. Our group golfed on the course and the clubhouse was a 1 minute walk from the front door.

Annual staycation

The property is nice and spacious. There were plenty of beds and seating that accommodated our large group. The property manager was respectful, helpful, and prompt in his reply the our every concern and query. It was a really fun stay.

Family vacation

This was our second stay at this property. Kids and grandkids enjoy it Alot. Is great when weather is not good (our experience), can keep kids entertained with pool and games. Plenty of room for everyone, we had over 20. Close enough to Warren Dunes and St. Joseph for daytrips. We had no issues and a great time.

The resort fit our need for lots of room for my family of 27. It is dated and needs upgrading.

The resort had lots of play room and sleeping rooms. The kitchen is small and dated and the bathrooms need updating. The pool was large and clean. Security is a concern with no way to lock off the pool. Overall we enjoyed the resort.

We appreciated the business for this stay. We admit the place is older and try to keep it up as much as possible. However as traveler noted the place is very functional and suits many people staying there.

The property was overall great for family and space. The basement was very cold and had to bring heaters to hell heat it up, there was a lot of stink bugs, chlorine was so strong it burned the kids skin and gave them rashes.

Less than 48 hours before our stay, the property manager let us know (on a holiday) that the pool had turned green because it was overdue for a new pump, and would not be usable. The pool was the only reason we were interested in this property, so this was extremely disappointing to our large group. The hosts offered us a 500 refund. This was only about a 13% discount off our bottom line, and they were unwilling to offer more than that. The hot tub looked visually clear, but smelled of mold. The house is very large with lots of bed options and a unique layout, but it needs a deep clean. It is dusty, has a lot of cobwebs and stink bugs. We will not return to this property.

Family vacation

We had 20 people and had a great time. The house is in need of updating (which is noted in listing). In talking to new owners, I am anxious to see improvements. Will be checking back in the future.

August 2019 Stay

We rented this property for a large group for a weekend of yard games, swimming and hanging out. The house is dated which matched the honest assessment of the property Rob provided and was the perfect size for our group. There was plenty of space (inside and out), the pool was heated and enjoyed by all and Rob was very helpful upon arrival and responsive to any questions we had throughout our stay. Our group had an amazing time and I was asked to organize a repeat trip next year.

Family reunion

Thete were 40 in our group age ranging from 1 to 66 yrs. Each person had a bed with a couple spares. The pool and hot tub were a big hit. The young adults and teens made use of the basement as their gaming room. We found the place to have plenty of room for everyone. We would like to make a return visit. If you want a good catering service or good food look up Soke Pork Catering at Porkys in canopollis. Great food!

Plenty of space and great location

We stayed at the retreat house for a family vacation with 24 people including children, teens and adults. The rental is not fancy, but there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and enjoy the week. This rental is HUGE! The pool/hot tub area was a big hit with everyone. The location in Dowagiac was also great. We were within a few minutes of restaurants, shops, golf courses and other activities. We did have a couple of maintenance needs during our stay, but Beth and Steve were accessible and sent help quickly. We have already booked again for next year.

Family Vacation

We had a couple of hiccups during our stay but the property manager was very responsive when contacted and remedied the problems very quickly. Overall we had a good stay. We had 18 people, 4 generations. The kids really enjoyed the pool and playing in the recreation room that overlooks the pool. The adults enjoyed evenings in the basement. There was plenty of room for all to spread out. We were able to all enjoy dinners together at the large dining room table. The property was close enough to enjoy a day at St. Joseph and another at Warren Dunes as well as a nice cookout on our first evening. Overall a good stay and great family time. I would recommend the property for any large gathering.

Mice

There where mice throughout the house. The owner scheduled a bug exterminator for the exterior on Saturday which was halfway through our trip. It was dusty and outdated.

We have never had guests mention mice before or after your group, but thank you for bringing that to our attention. We also thank you for paying to replace the multiple pieces of furniture your bachelor party broke. pool house

We loved the pool and the size of the house.We have stayed there 2 times and both times had to call manager for plumbing problems multiple times. They were quick to respond but only fixed the current problem. The house needs to have the plumbing totally redone. The doors need to be planed so that they don't stick. We had trouble opening the door to the bathroom in our area if we closed it all the way. Several doors in the house do this. The large room by the pool was great for our family to gather and eat and play games. The yard is great for games.

OK Time

Property is quite old and hasn't been updated in years. There is a lot of space and the pool is quite large but over chlorinated. The rooms on the pool level had a strong chlorine smell. No heat in the basement except for a space heater. Kitchen is very small with only one refrigerator in the house. Bathrooms not in the best of shapes, rust on some faucets and bathtubs.

Thanks Curtis for taking the time to review our property. We are continually working to update the expansive property, in fact most flooring and paint is brand new and we've made many upgrades including new water softener, appliances, and roofing. Regarding the chlorine, our pool is cleaned and tested before every stay. We do provide that space heater in the basement level because while there is heat down there, it is cooler than the rest of the house, especially during cold weather. We always appreciate feedback and hope that your group enjoyed their stay at the house!

My extended family and I stayed at "Resort on the Course" over the Fourth of July holiday and had a great time. I found the house to be a little dirty although the toilets and sinks where clean - there were socks etc under the my bedand some of the sheets had not been cleaned. Many of the light switches didn't work. The pool was old but clean and in great working order...and all of the kids in our group liked the video game! As a group we had concerns regarding safety (smoke detectors, exposed wiring etc, sewage odor in portable area) which we mentioned to owner after our visit. He was responsive and refunded a small part of our payment. I was not happy that he asked us NOT to review the property.

Family vacation

We rented this house to have time with our kids and grandkids and my mother-in-law. When we were all there, we had 25 total and there was plenty of room for everyone! During our stay, we didn't have to make plans to go anywhere -- or have to worry about the weather -- because the pool was the entertainment! The hot tub had good jets, and it was actually hot. :) Yes, there were some odd parts to the house, but it made it interesting. The "guest house" is attached to the main house, but you have to walk outside or through the pool area to get to it. Our families with young children stayed in the main house, and we DID have enough people who could stay in the guest house. But that may be helpful for others to know. We loved the dining room on nights when there were only 13 of us. When we had more people, we put extra folding tables (that we brought) in the Florida room. There was plenty of room for us to all eat together. The owners were very easy to get ahold of, and they were very helpful. Thank you for helping us make memories!

Amazing weekend at an amazing house

We stayed for a long weekend with about 13 friends. The house had everything we needed. kitchen had every utensil you could think of and the extra large coffee maker was a hit. The beds were comfortable and this place is massive and Beth and Steve have made it super easy on you as a guest to keep in clean. I would definitely go back.
