INTRODUCTION
Coastal Serenity a spacious former model home is one of our most popular rentals and features 5 bedrooms and 3.5 baths, comfortably accommodating up to 12 people, with an additional office/den that has a futon. There is a full kitchen, a first floor ensuite primary bedroom w/TV, a laundry room with a full-size washer & dryer, a loft-style lounging area w/a video game arcade, a basketball arcade in the garage, an enclosed back porch, and a patio with a grill. All bedrooms have ceiling fans. You're also located just up the street from the Beach Shuttle stop #12, which takes you right from the community to Bethany Beach. Instead of spending time fighting traffic and looking for parking near the beach, you can enjoy that extra time with your toes in the sand thanks to the shuttle! The shuttle runs Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday from 10AM to 10PM beginning the 2nd week of June through Labor Day weekend. There's even an app to track the shuttle's location!

This property has (3) TV's total. They are not equipped with a cable package, but all are Smart TV's with built-in streaming; you will need to sign in to your own streaming accounts/subscriptions.

General note: While many of our rental properties do not have cable packages on some or all TV's, they are usually equipped with HDMI ports for plug-in streaming devices (such as Amazon FireSticks or Roku sticks). While some TVs have built-in streaming services that do not require a plug-in device, we cannot guarantee this feature on all televisions and therefore we recommend if streaming content is important to you, that you bring your own streaming devices/sticks to be safe.

Millville by the Sea charges a fee per week for your stay. 1st Choice Properties will collect this fee at the prevailing rate with your final payment and submit it to the community prior to arrival so we're able to obtain your parking permits and amenity bracelets in advance - one less stop you have to make!

DELAWARE SHORT-TERM RENTAL TAX
Delaware has imposed a short-term rental lodging tax at the rate of 4.5% of the rent upon every occupancy of a short-term rental within the State. This new tax went into effect on January 1, 2025. The tax applies to all short-term rentals in Delaware, including those listed on platforms like Airbnb and Vrbo.

MISCELLANEOUS
1st Choice Properties provides bed and bath linens for you. Your linen package includes: fitted sheets, top sheets, and pillowcases for all beds; bath towels, hand towels, and wash cloths in a set and you get as many as the property sleeps; and bathmats for all full bathrooms. Your linens will be delivered to the home prior to your arrival; you are responsible for putting the linens on the beds. You are also responsible for bagging the linens at the end of your stay and leaving them outside the residence for pick-up after your departure.

1st Choice Properties also provides a Starter Kit with all rentals. Your Starter Kit includes (1) roll of paper towels, (2) rolls of toilet paper, (1) 3oz bottle of dish soap, (1) dish sponge, (1) 13gal kitchen trash bags. You are responsible for providing any additional toiletries, soap, and paper products as needed.

The maximum occupancy is 12 people.

Occupants must utilize all available private parking (garage, driveway) before using any available street parking.

No pets, smoking, vaping, or events are allowed at the property.

Delaware regulations require all guests to sign a lease agreement within 10 days of booking. A lease agreement will be sent within 24 hours of booking and an electronic signature is required before final check-in information is made available.


Check-in is 4PM and check-out is 10AM. This is non-negotiable. Your access codes for the property will activate and deactivate precisely at these times; occupancy outside these timeframes without express permission from 1st Choice Properties is considered unlawful trespassing. 1st Choice Properties will contact you directly the day of your arrival if your property is available for an early check-in at no additional cost to you; this is our standard practice and you do not need to contact us to opt-in to it.

The property owners we represent do not permit reservations for groups under the age of 25.
