Thank you for your kind words about the Studio. Regarding the thermostat...the operation of the thermostat was detailed in your welcome letter (email). The thermostat is touch screen, the buttons on the side control Mode (Heat/Cool/Auto). (In the letter we advise guests to just use the touch screen, and not adjust the Mode button.) We noticed you had selected Auto--which holds the temperature around the last temperature you had selected. As for the bodega...probably 85 percent of the buildings in Savannah, built in that era, have bars on the windows. These things could have been cleared up quickly with a call, text or email (that's why we provide all of our guests with our direct number). We hope it did not affect your overall visit. We would love to have you Come Visit Us In Savannah...Again!

Thank you for taking such good care of our house. I'm sorry that your stay was less than perfect. The studio is only for one or two guests. Usually couples. Based on feedback we have had in the past, we added the 2nd chair because some people don't like to sit on the bed to watch TV or read. The sheets are Egyptian cotton with high sheen, so they are slick, almost like silk...point taken about sliding. The towels with Clorox spots and stains are the (clean) utility towels I mentioned in your Welcome Letter. Since we have the outdoor spaces (the back deck, and front porch), and sometimes have afternoon showers...We leave those utility towels for drying the outdoor furniture and for spills (if needed). We have had good-hearted guests that have tried to "help" by doing laundry. The rolled towels on the shelf, are a bit heavier and meant for showering. The shower curtain will raise and lower...I raise it to Clorox the tile shower so as not to bleach it. I must have forgotten to lower it. I knew you were in town early and I was trying to get the Studio ready so that you could check in early. I wanted you to know things would be better for your next visit. And again, I'll be next door if you have any questions or want me to remove any furniture, I'd be happy to. Sorry I missed you on your 2nd day when I hung the balloons on your door for Valentine's Day...I could have addressed your concerns. Regarding our location, we are in the Historic Thomas Square District. The whole Savannah Historic District is 2 square miles...we are 39 blocks from River Street, and about 10 blocks from Forsyth Park. Our guests consider our location close enough to be convenient, but not so close that you have to fight for parking or feed parking meters. Please keep us in mind for future travel.
