Puamana Basecamp is your laid-back home for true West Maui living. Located inside the private, oceanfront community of Puamana, this 2-bedroom, 2.5-bath townhome offers beach access, a nearby beginner-friendly point break, and multiple community pools—including one set right on the ocean.
What makes this home special is the upstairs great room and chef-inspired kitchen. The property was previously owned by the original owner of Mala Ocean Tavern, and the upstairs lanai was enclosed years ago to create a larger, more functional kitchen footprint. We embraced that history and took it further with a newly remodeled chef’s kitchen designed for real cooking—not just vacation basics. As a former chef, I intentionally created a space built for preparing fresh island meals, gathering around the counter, and mixing sunset cocktails after a long day in the water.
Designed for families and friends, the open living and kitchen area naturally pulls everyone together. Slow mornings with coffee, afternoons shaped by surf and sun, and evenings filled with shared meals define the rhythm here. Kids roam the quiet pathways, the ocean sets the schedule, and life moves at an easy, unhurried pace—comfortably removed from the resort crowds.
