The Space:

Imagine relaxing at this beautiful, remodeled waterfront studio, located in the peaceful Pirates Bay Resort in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. This condo has spectacular views of the Intercoastal Waterway on the Santa Rosa Sound, the resort marina, and the Gulf of Mexico, offering wonderful sunsets from the balcony. Whether you're a small family or a couple, you can enjoy sitting on your balcony admiring the views of the water and the well-kept community pool. The kitchenette has two mini-fridges, a freezer, a two-burner cooktop, a microwave, and a coffee maker. A picnic and grilling area and a private beach are also available.



With the water and dock just steps from your front door, you can stroll along the marina or take a fishing pole down to the docks and catch some fish (there are grouper, mullet, sea trout, sting ray, and flounder year-round, especially during the summer months). Enjoy a number of local restaurants close by, or head over to Okaloosa Island for beachfront dining.

Clean, cute and a perfect location.

We loved the set up of the room, it was clean and comfortable. Pool was nice if you wanted to skip the beach for the day. Location is central to everything. Will stay there again!

Great budget friendly room

Room is a little dated but still a great place to stay. They put new chairs on the balcony while we were there. They were very comfy. We had a problem with one of the bathroom fixtures and the problem was remedied by the management company in under an hour. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend to host company.

Perfect stay

Loved this studio. Perfect for a couple for a quick trip. Had the essentials needed like shampoo, conditioner, body wash. Coffee pot provided. Also had a small fridge and place to cook food if needed. Beautiful Quiet pool to spend the afternoon. Did not have “beach access”.

Nice, but..

Stove burners need help...probably new catch basins under burners. Had a fast response to our need for a new coffee pot. As others have said, the bed and pillows were very comfy. All in all a nice place.

Our vacation

My husband and I have stayed at Pirates Bay multiple times. We enjoy the area, pool, and loved watching the boats going through the bay. However, we had trouble using the push button key entrance at the door. There were several times we were stranded outside as the pad just continually blinked red. I believe the batteries are almost dead. Also, the thermostat would not hold below 72. I really cannot sleep comfortably at that temperature. We did purchase a standing fan for the stay.

Go else where

This property should not have been rented. The shower was broken and a make shift fix was done that did not work. The sliding glass door handle was ready to fall off and that was because it took lots of muscle to get the door to open. Using the balcony was one of the reasons I booked this condo. The door was so rusted it was very hard to open without the use of the handle. This property needs some attention before renting again. Beware

The worst vacation rental I have ever stayed in, DIRTY!!

Once I arrived to the room, I checked the sheets and bedding as usual and I found someone’s freaking false eyelash glued to the sheets and to top it off the pillows had lipstick stains and makeup residue on them. I called the property manager asking for new sheets since I arrived and NEVER got any. I was so upset, I called numerous times asking for new pillows, sheets and covers and the property manger was careless. Don’t stay here if cleanliness is your top priority!! Because you will not get it. My stay was gross and disgusting.

Overall - its fine

Over all it was fine . It is small , I would say it is more of an efficiency . It does not look like a condo building , more just like an older apartment building . the first evening the pool was dirty , the loungers looked like they had black mold on them , however , the next morning I did see someone cleaning the pool and checking the Ph levels. It's a good pool size , and it's 6.5 feet deep. The description say four adults but it would be really crowded with four adults . The space its self was very clean and the decor was nice - great beach vibe decor. Limited towels no in house washer dryer you have to pay to wash and one day the elevated seemed to be broken - I didn't really mind walking the 3 flights of stairs especially in the morning . I never found the beach access other than driving To the beach . Over all the only real complaint that I have is the head board . There is a gap between the headboard and the wall so if you're on the bed watching tv or doing your zoom class , any movement you make the headboard slams into the wall. The bathroom was clean and a good size , and had hot water .

Not what I was expecting. But you get what you pay for

Received two texts about free early check in, responded to the text letting them know we accept and we’re headed up to the room only to be told 20 minutes later we couldn’t access it yet because it wasn’t ready even though we were already standing in the room with our luggage on the floor because we were told twice before 1:00 we could check in early. Had to pack up everything we brought up back to the car and didn’t receive a text for check in until 4:15, which check in was originally 4:30 before we was offered early check in. They Blamed cooperate so obviously they lack communication with one another. The room looked the same as it did when we arrived for the “early” check in so it obviously wasn’t “cleaned” as they claimed it needed to be. Hair was in the sheets , everywhere. Corner of bed frame was dirty and had dead bugs. The shower is broke and based off other reviews they are obviously aware of the issue since others left reviews about it and it’s never been fixed. It’s a very outdated condo that needs some TLC. Would I stay again? Absolutely not.
