The Space:

Sweet sunshine and salty air await you in Santa Rosa Beach, so stay in style and make The Preserve 202 your home away from home. As soon as you step foot inside, you'll be greeted by pastel blue paint throughout, beachy decor, and an open layout that's perfect for entertaining the whole gang with ease. Start each morning on a bright note with a cup of coffee on the furnished balcony, and fire up the gas grill each evening as the sun goes down and enjoy some burgers at the outdoor dining table. Culinarily inclined guests will be in paradise as well, with a full kitchen complete with bar seating, sleek black countertops, and stainless steel appliances to make family-favorite recipes a cinch. Plus, you can wash sandy suits at the end of each day in the private washer and dryer. To really spoil yourself, don't hesitate to soak in bliss in the jetted tub as well!



What's nearby:

Find an easily accessible beach boardwalk located to the left of Sanctuary by the Sea (you cannot set up at this access point) but you can walk the wet sand to the public beach east of Little Redfish Lake or the beach west of Big Redfish Lake. With Big Redfish Lake and a private access point to Blue Mountain Beach right across the street next to Sanctuary by the Sea, you'll have no delay in getting your fill of sandy toes and crashing waves. For some fun away from the sand, grab a plate of seafood from a local restaurant, head less than half a mile down the road to Blue Mountain Beach Creamery, or check out some of the area shops to pick up some beloved souvenirs. Grayton Beach State Park is also a wonderful spot for a sunrise or sunset hike, just two and a half miles away.

Beautiful beach and natural views

Property was great. The walk to the beach is atleast 15 minutes but you can park road side beside the gate that'll have you across the strret from the entrance to the beach.

Wonderful experience

Very clean and well decorated condo which made for a very special and relaxing base camp for our visit. The parking, elevator, and easy access to the condo made it super easy to take our bikes in and out each day, so we could explore the 30a bike trail, which is just across the street. Overall experience is A+++!

Beautiful and comfortable

Beautiful and spacious! It housed our family of 7 very comfortably. The kitchen was well-appointed, which in my experience, is not always the case even when advertised as such. Very short drive to the beach, or walkable if that's preferred, but it is a longer walk.

Property was perfect for the family!

Great place in a nice location. Getting to the beach is a little bit of a chore but centrally located to everything you need. Only issue for us is that other two bedrooms are made more for kids instead of something in between that. Would have preferred a queen in bed of the two. Other than that it was very nice!

Long Term Stay

My husband I stayed for two months. The condo was large enough to not feel crapped for that amount of time. It was clean and fully appointed with everything you would need. The location is fantastic, especially with the private beach access just 1/2 mile down the road and the walking/bike path right outside your door. The kitchen is a little tired but it is functional. We would stay again.

Poor Property Management

I would have given 5 stars for this property if the property management had been better. The directions to the beach access needed to be better, the codes fro beach access and the pool were completely wrong and never got into either of them. The condo it self was perfect for what we needed and it's location was perfect. Other little things, the toaster started on fire and laundry was left in the washer and dryer by the cleaners.

Quick getaway

We asked the property manager to have housekeeping clean the patio and no one ever showed up. The patio would have added a nice touch; however, it needed to be cleaned and all furniture needed to be wiped. The patio needed to be blown. Very disappointing that the property manager told us they would send someone and never did. We were not able to use the patio.

Beach Condo

Overall the experience was good. The location was close enough to the beach that it was easy to walk to. The pictures appeared accurate. We weren't able to use the deck space much because it was a little cold out, but with slightly warmer weather, it would have been great! There minor complaints: we weren't supplied with bars of soap (it was a short trip and we had brought some with us, so I didn't bother making an issue of this), the dryer seemed to take a while, and there were only 5 chairs for the inside table. Now, we did bring a couple chairs in from outside and there are some stools for the counter, so truly not a big deal. The ambiance is nice. Cleanliness not perfect, but surface clean.

Highly enjoyable family vacation

We enjoyed (almost) everything during our week at Santa Rosa Beach (Grayton Beach). The property is clean and well equipped. The 10 minute walk to the beach is no problem. The section of the beach related to property is especially beautiful. And the water was crystal clear. In contrast to this generally positive impression, we have to say that three following aspects do not fit this picture. Why is it not possible to provide a grill which is clean and works and has the gas provided to to that? The beautiful porch would be usable at any temperature with outside fans. And we were wondering why it is not possible to replace the broken dinner table chairs. With these three problems solved, we would make another reservation tomorrow.

The condo is immaculate. Beautifully decorated and very clean.

The condo is extremely nice. Beautifully decorated. Well kept. My only complaint is with the property managers. They did not send our check in information until I had to call at 8:30 on the morning we were leaving. Do not try and contact them through VRBO they do not respond. This condo is a 15 to 20 minute walk to the beach. Plus stairs to go down to the beach once you get there. Our original plan was to rent golf cart. We did not know we were not allowed to do that until 830 the morning of arrival and the HOA rules were sent. If you know 30A then you know most people have have golf carts and that's how they get around. I even called the Vacasa and confirmed that we could not rent a golf cart and keep it at the condo. The pool is very nice, just make sure you are aware that the codes change during the week and Vacasa doesn't send new codes. You will need to call.
