The Space:

This beautiful, second-floor Gulf-front vacation rental includes balcony doors in the living room leading to a private balcony that provides a spectacular view of the Gulf of Mexico. Pickleball courts are also nearby, so grab your paddles and have a friendly game together. The primary bedroom is on the Gulf side with doors leading to the balcony. Other features of this upgraded vacation rental include a kitchen with upgraded appliances and granite countertops, new cabinets and fixtures, a full-size refrigerator, cooktop stove and oven, microwave and dishwasher, along with all the dishes, pots, and utensils needed to prepare and serve meals. The bathrooms have upgraded fixtures, cabinets and décor with marble accents. The primary bath has a green marble soaker tub and large walk-in shower. The living room has a TV, DVD player, and a CD stereo system. The primary bedroom has a TV and a VCR. The guest bedroom has a TV and VCR and the third bedroom has a TV.



Things to Know

Complimentary beach service of one umbrella and two chairs is offered from March 1 through October 31. Paddleboards, kayaks, and bicycles are available for an additional charge.

Large family space and balcony

Great overall place to stay. Could use some updates, but I would definitely stay here again!

Beach vacay

Great location to the beach. Teens could come and go to beach on their own. The washer and dryer in the unit is a great bonus! The pool is open until 10 instead of 9 which is awesome! The unit itself is big and open. The balcony was wonderful!! We will absolutely be back!!!

Needs updating

The condo was very spacious and had beautiful views of the ocean. We could sit at the dining room table and see the ocean. Overall the condo needs updating. The furnishings are outdated. We had an ant issue but they were quick to try and resolve the issue. The whirlpool tub didn’t work and the tv had several movie channels that didn’t work. We still had a great trip but we would stay at another condo if we come back to the area.

Ft Walton Beach

The location was great and the view was amazing. The beds slept great and were very comfortable. The living room furniture was horribly broken down, and there was peeling wallpaper they were trying to cover up with a plant. The master bath was very spacious but the huge jetted tube didn't work. The washing machine sounded like a jet engine running. I messaged about this and was told it was a known issue but that the machine still works. Overall if you don't care much about the room other than to sleep it's great. If you want something that's updated and super comfortable to hang out in I'd look for something else.

Dirty, neglected, owner doesn’t appear to care.

The unit was filthy, fortunately the management company sent housekeeping over to clean the sticky floors. The mold in the shower had to be removed by the maintenance staff, too much for housekeeping. Great deck, but only two of the five chairs were usable. The rest were rusted and unsafe or the seat was torn and unusable. We couldn’t all sit outside at the same time, what a shame, great deck no chairs. Ice maker didn’t work. The unit badly needs remodeling. I am fine with old and out dated, but do expect clean and serviceable. Unfortunately this unit didn’t meet even those low expectations. I am giving a two, only because it’s a good location and nice building. The unit itself is a zero.

Fort Walton Beach

There are a few things I would change to add better comfort to the place we stayed in. The master bath shower should have the faucet at door instead of you having to get in all the way and be blasted with cold water just to turn it on. There was not enough toilet paper. It is too thin therefore we used more which caused us to run out.

Needs Updating

The location of the property and the view was excellent. The interior is in need of updating. The wallpaper was peeling in quite a few places, the doors for the washer/dryer were missing. The door for the furnace was too narrow, leaving huge gaps which had collected dirt and dust. The outdoor furniture was very uncomfortable and insufficient for the amount of people(6) in our group. Overall we were pleased with our stay but most likely will look for a different unit for our next trip

it was a great location

the rooms were neat and clean . access to the beach was perfect. some minor issues with toilets running but overall a very positive vacation

This place was fantastic!

We have vacationed at Island Echo for the past 15 years and we always love 1) the location (on the beach); 2) the clean and beautiful accommodations; 3) the friendly people (who assisted with reservations, on-site Office check-in/daytime/check-out, beach chairs/umbrellas); and 4) the affordable price (3 rooms/bathrooms, full living room, full equipped kitchen, large balcony with chairs/tables/loungers -- all for the cost of one Marriott hotel room!). We also loved the Old Bay Steamer and Louisiana Lapionette (spelling?) -- great dinners!! We brought our 2 year old grandson this year, so went to the Gulfarium (3 miles away) to see the dolphin and sea lion shows (along with getting to see many turtles, tortoises, sharks, sting-rays, and cool sea creatures) -- he enjoyed every minute of it!! I highly recommend this place - it was absolutely wonderful!
