Chalet #98 is part of the iconic Chalet on the Lake resort and is ideally positioned beside the private fishing lake, offering peaceful water views while remaining just steps from the sports courts, pool area and playground. This 2BR 1BA A-frame chalet with a screened porch comfortably sleeps up to six guests. Enjoy private beach access and full use of resort amenities, including three pools, tennis and pickleball courts, basketball, beach volleyball, playgrounds, ponds, and more.
The Space:
Inside, warm wood interiors and classic A-frame ceilings create an inviting lakeside retreat. The main level features a fully equipped kitchen with full size appliances and everything needed for easy meals or take out at home. The dining area sits beneath the sloped wood ceilings, while the living area offers comfortable seating and a relaxed gathering space after a day outdoors.
Just off the living area, the screened porch provides a peaceful extension of the home, with views toward the fishing lake and surrounding green space. It is an ideal setting for quiet mornings, evening conversations, or simply enjoying the fresh lake air.
Upstairs, two bedrooms offer flexible, family-friendly sleeping arrangements, making this chalet ideal for families or groups traveling together. One bedroom features a queen bed and a twin bunk bed, while the other includes a double bed and a twin bunk bed. A full bathroom with a walk-in shower is conveniently located on the main level.

Two dedicated parking spaces make arrivals and unloading easy. Note that this home does not have a washer or dryer, but there is a laundromat nearby.
Chalet on the Lake is a private lakefront community with wide views of Lake Michigan and a long-standing, family-friendly atmosphere. Guests have access to shared amenities that include three pools, tennis and pickleball courts, a playground, shuffleboard, a beach volleyball court, and quiet pond areas. The sandy shoreline is the heart of the property, with an easy walk from the chalets to the water in every season.
Situated along the serene shoreline of Stevensville, the Resort also places you within moments of Southwest Michigan’s most treasured experiences. Spend your days exploring golden Lake Michigan beaches, boutique wineries, craft breweries, and farm-to-table restaurants that define the region’s coastal charm. Nearby St. Joseph and New Buffalo offer vibrant shopping, galleries, and seasonal festivals, while local trails, nature preserves, and orchards invite peaceful outdoor adventures.
Other Things to Note:
To ensure a safe and compliant stay, all guests are required to complete identity verification prior to check-in. A valid government-issued photo ID will be collected and verified, and the name on the ID must match the credit card used for payment. When applicable, a background screening may also be required as part of the booking process.
All guests are required to review and sign Juniper Holiday + Home's Guest Occupancy Agreement prior to check-in. While we understand that events can affect your trip, it is our policy to stick to the agreed-upon cancellation policy in the listing.
