The beach access is located about 100 steps east at the end of the street, making beach mornings and sunset walks incredibly easy.



Once you arrive, you will likely find you do not need your car again.

After a long day in the sun, relax with a movie night on the Smart TV or pull out one of the board games provided.



Just outside the patio, the community pool offers another great way to wind down or let the kids burn off their remaining energy.

The complex also features a private pool, perfect for cooling off after a day in the sun.



BBQ grills are not allowed at the property, but charcoal grilling is permitted on the public beaches of South Padre Island.



BEACH ACCESS



Public beach access is located roughly 100 steps away at the end of the street.



Because SPI beaches allow pop-up tents and wagons, we recommend bringing both if you plan on carrying beach gear, though beach toys and towels are not provided.



PARKING



Parking accommodates:

Street parking and guest parking are not available.



If additional parking is needed, nearby options include the post office or Gulf Blvd public street parking.

You're just a short stroll from the beach – about 100 steps to be exact! – making those sunrise walks and sunset views incredibly easy. Within easy walking distance, you'll find a variety of dining options to satisfy any craving. Enjoy bayfront sunsets and live music at Longboards Bar & Grill, or savor upscale Italian cuisine at Henrietta’s. For a quick bite or essentials, CVS and Dairy Queen are close by. If you're feeling adventurous, Gravity Park offers go-karts, mini-golf, and other entertainment options. The neighborhood itself is known for its walkability and convenience. You can easily park your car and explore the island on foot, enjoying the relaxed atmosphere and easy access to everything South Padre Island has to offer.



Getting Around:

Getting around South Padre Island is easy! You'll find that many attractions, including the beach and a variety of restaurants, are within easy walking distance of Retreat on Pike #3. For those arriving by car, we offer parking for two regular-size vehicles, or one SUV/truck and one golf cart. Additional parking options are available nearby at the post office or along Gulf Blvd. Please note that street parking is limited. While public transportation isn't readily available on the island, the convenient location of the condo makes exploring by foot or car a breeze. The nearest major airport is Brownsville South Padre Island International Airport (BRO), approximately a 35-40 minute drive away.



Other Things to Note:

Please take note of a few important details to ensure a smooth and enjoyable stay. Check-in is at 3:00 PM, and check-out is at 11:00 AM. You will receive a door code via text on your arrival day, typically by 3:00 PM. We provide a starter pack of essential toiletries and cleaning supplies; however, these are not replenished. For stays longer than two nights, you may want to bring extra supplies. Parking is available for two regular-sized vehicles, or one SUV/truck and one golf cart. Additional parking can be found at the post office or along Gulf Blvd. Please remember that this is a non-smoking property, and pets are not allowed. The primary guest must be 25 years or older to book, unless otherwise approved. A signed rental agreement and photo ID are required before your stay. Quiet hours are observed from 10:00 PM to 9:00 AM. Please ensure the thermostat is set to 78 degrees, If you have any questions, please reach out – we are here to help!
