The Space:

Gray Whale Cove is located on a quiet street about four blocks from the beach. You will find this charming home is perfect for a romantic getaway or a small family's weekend. Aptly named, this cute cottage is decorated with whale art on the walls and whale knickknacks throughout.



As soon as you step through the door, you will fall in love with the style of this home. The open floor plan has an inviting ambiance, wood floors, and a comfortable living room with a brick fireplace that's perfect to snuggle in front of on those chilly nights. The kitchen is open and perfect for carrying on conversations with your family while preparing a delicious meal. The dining area opens onto a lovely deck. The two bedrooms are off the living room. When you step outside into the delightfully decorated backyard you will feel all your worries melt away. Enjoy the backyard with its lounge chairs and delightful rock patio. Make sure you bring your lovely family dogs as well to this dog-friendly home.

Wonderful birthday weekend in Manzanita!

The house was so nice! The beds have the most comfortable mattresses. The house and yard were so sweet to stay in. I highly recommend this house for your next trip to the coast! We also loved all the whales!

Great house. Well stocked, clean and comfortable. Close to downtown and short walk to beach. The door locks are confusing, but once solved we had a great time. Beautiful private back yard.

Dog Friendly House

We enjoyed our stay. It was nice having a fully fence patio/yard to let the dog out in the mornings and while we ate dinner on the deck. House was in easy walking distance to beach and village.

A cozy place on the Oregon coast

Our family stayed 3 nights in Manzanita. Great location to explore up and down the coast. Nice spot in town, close to grocery and shops and restaurants. Very clean and cozy!

Lovely house! The location is great with easy access to town and the beach. It was a little cold to make use of the patio, but we made use of the gas fireplace after our walks on the beach.

We have always enjoyed our stay at Gray Whale Cove. This is our third time there. The yard is great for our dog and the kitchen is well stocked. The king bed mattress has seen better days.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Gray Whale Cove. The home is cute and cozy. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay in Manzanita. Quiet neighborhood. Loved being able to walk to town or the beach. We'd definitely stay here again for future visits to the coast.

Gray Whale Cove

We spent another wonderful time at the Gray Whale Cove! Not only were we so impressed with the garden, but how clean and well appointed the property is. Such a lovely environment and great location, I barely used my car all week. Looking forward to returning with my dog in the future.

We had a lovely stay in this centrally located house. It was clean and well appointed. Nice open plan living area with comfy sofas and a large wall mounted tv. A good sized garden at the back that is fenced all around. Overall we had a great stay in this house, thank you!

Grey Whale Cove is a Gem

Immaculate home with high quality furnishings, beds and linens. So cozy, comfy, and light. Fun art. Shampoo, soaps, conditioner, and shower gel provided. Very well stocked kitchen. The back yard was lovely with bright accents, beautiful flowers and cheerful umbrellas. Walk to town and beach. Note to foodies- half of the town’s Restaurants were closed on Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday. A great get away for us and our small hypoallergenic dog.

Perfect family retreat

The house was super cute and had everything we could want for a nice relaxing time at the beach for a family of four. Safe for 2 kids under 3 years old. They loved it! The only negative was the master bedroom pillows smelled like wet dog but that's an easy fix - just need replaced. Would definitely stay here again.
